I recently visited the store to do some Christmas shopping, and like every other visit, I found the counter help to be super friendly and really knowledgeable on the products they carry. The staff needs to be re-trained in customer service They think they are so hardcore and look down at newbies (Legend you know who you are) and try to make them feel small and stupid. My experience with this shop has solely been in store and I can offer no insight into the online shopping experience. My instore experiences have all been at least good. Different staff have different personalities and your experience will vary with the person and your attitude. I have had only one passable retail experience and I now know to avoid that one fellow. Everyone else has been great and three have gone above and beyond. Their selection is typically excellent, the website kept up to date with accurate inventory numbers and the prices are competitive, with some being lower, some being higher and some being the same MAP price as other sellers. Overall I think this is one of the better gun shops near the Toronto / GTA area. The selection is quite good and even though the ammunition is a bit more expensive than other places, the prices on firearms is usually reasonable. The location is a bit out of the way, but not too far of a drive from the GTA. As for the staff, the vast majority of them are great. They are often busy but find ways to help people relatively efficiently. However there is one person there, a younger man, who I've not had a great experience with on several occasions. I'm not sure if this is a cultural barrier, but in business it's important to make your customers feel welcome and act professionally, and this one person has not done that. I've been apprehensive asking him any questions because he is incredibly short and distant with his replies and makes it feel like a chore having to talk to customers. I have contact by email and they have informed me how wrong I was since their sale (excuse why no product diliverEd yet) was started on the 10th, (Black Friday is over 240 hrs long now, ). And thier heavy sales somehow mean I brought slow service on myself fo buying 750$ of product on the 19th. To my shame they are right, how dare I expect them to ship an order in less than 2 weeks, they were clearly having a sale.. so now I hope I get my product within 3 weeks, and I will accept that like other reviews will save purchases I really don't want for Tenda, that way I won't care how long it takes and shame myself for asking for better servise. WARNING, FALSE AND MISLEADING REPRESENTATIONS AND DECEPTIVE MARKETING PRACTICES. On December 16, 2019 I viewed a promotion on the Tenda website for a Smith & Wesson MP15-22 Sport II 22LR Semi W/Scope & Bipod Combo. Within the discription of this promotion it was very clearly worded that this item included the following accessories with purchase, a scope, bipod, Magpul Mbus front and rear flip-up sights, and 2" Picatinny rail. This very clear and concise representation of the product being promoted on the Tenda website is what influenced me as a consumer to buy the product as advertised. Using the advertising information provided to make my purchasing decision, I placed my order on December 16, 2019, #119379. When I received my purchase, not without a delivery nightmare thanks to Canpar, I was disappointed to see that the Magpul front and rear sights were missing from the order. After many phone calls, good luck with them calling you back, they informed me that there was a mistake on the website and that this did not come with the Magpul front and rear sights. I based my purchasing decision on what was publicly and clearly advertised on their website. The fact that nobody proofreads their advertising before going public with it is not the consumers' problem, I entered into a agreement to purchase based on their provided information. Immediately after me bringing this to their attention they made corrections to their website. After many phone calls they refused to correct the problem and honour the purchase I made based on their advertisement and send me any front or rear flip-up sights. Most upstanding companies that make mistakes would have delivered as advertised and then correct the mistake, not Tenda, their solution is send the purchase back for a refund. Why should they bother being reputable and deliver as they advertised, because they're not. If you are thinking of spending your hard earned money, I can't stress this enough, I would highly recommend you shop elsewhere and completely avoid the massive disappointment that Tenda is very capable of delivering to consumers. read more

Completely incompetent business that after 5 weeks of waiting had still not shipped my in stock item. They do not respond to emails, facebook messages, or on their website contact page. When asked, she completely ignored my request to put the manager on the phone. Staff doesn't know to properly use their email system. consistently tells you they "didn't get your email, just send it again" as a solution to their incompetence. Avoid this business. I had a very bad experience. Staff has no manner and are very unprofessional. Was picking up an item and when i asked the staff to verify the registration number i was given a head shake and was said "this is what i am doing okay!" This behavior is not acceptable for any organization. I would rather pay more and go to a place that is more professional. I will never shop there again. Tenda staff if you are reading it. You need to teach your staff some manners and how to behave with clients .I have never seen such rude behaviour. Dishonest, Thief's and scammers. Selling display items that been sitting on their shelf for years as brand new for the full price. After 7 weeks of placing my order I received a scope with excessive dust, dirty lens, batteries inserted in the battery compartment, After attempting to reach them for a week by email I had to spend 2hours on the phone to talk to someone and they said Sig Sauer shipped the item like this with the dust, scratches scuffs.. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. I received exactly what I ordered and found it for $100 cheaper than anywhere else, which is equivalent to 200 extra rounds. Anyone that knows anything about reloading knows reloading berdan brass is not easy. The tools needed to remove the berdan primers are not commonly available, berdan primers are not commonly available, and modifying berdan brass into boxer brass is not easy. read more

Bought a firearm from them, realized it is defective after taking it home. When I brought the firearm back to show them, they tried to dismiss me and refused to offer an exchange or return. I understand that their return policy excludes firearms so I didn't push them, but they should not be selling defective goods in the first place. Horrible experience shopping here. Ordered a rifle that was "in stock" online. After weeks with no communication, I emailed and was told that they were waiting to get the rifle from their supplier. After I eventually got the rifle, items were missing from the box. I called and they sent the missing items. A few days later, the rifle turned out to be totally defective. I called Tenda and they brushed me off, telling me to take it up with the manufacturer. I had never fired the rifle. They refused to exchange or aid me in any way. Thankfully, the manufacturer stood behind the product (unlike Tenda), but I had to ship it to them at my expense. Save your money and purchase from a place that has better service. read more
