Quoted my own bulk order using their online form, and then called them to send through the artwork. Managed to get a 90pc order taken care of within the day, which included two mock-ups that they sent free of charge. Other vendors require a deposit prior to sending mock-ups. Haven't received the order yet, but the process of dealing with Artik and the speed of communication on their end was great. Would use them again. read more

Not only do they turn over their orders fairly quickly, they take you through the entire process ensuring that you're good with the quality right the way along. The guy from Artik, was condescending, uninterested in helping or providing alternative solutions for a possible order and even went as far to say Artik does not want my business. I asked the owner, Saul, regarding an order with fewer pieces of clothing. He was honest and said his company did more bulk orders, and instead of leaving it at that he went the extra mile to put me in contact with another supplier that would work best for me. If I ever have people asking me where to do bulk printing I know I'll refer them to Artik. It's hard to come by honest business people these days. read more

We found Artik while doing a search of Toronto Print Shops. My Fiance and I are getting married in June, and we wanted to print some custom save the date magnets at their shop. We were served by an Artik representative named Maggie. We told her what we wanted, and showed her the design that we came up with for the magnet. She stated that because we made the file in Illustrator, that there would be no issues in the print process. We were told that we could go in and see a proof (something that they dont normally do) on the following day to make sure the file prints correctly. My fiance was emailed before the time that we were supposed to come check the proof, and was informed that the machine was down and they could not print the proof. When we did get to see the proof, we were not 100% satisfied with the quality of the print (lots of pixels), we elected to proceed anyways, as we figured the lamination process would hide some of the printing flaws. During the conversation with the above, we were told that if we were not happy with the quality, to go somewhere else. (Her exact words) The printing was SUPPOSED to be picked up on the Friday between 5:30 and 6:00pm. My fiance went in, to find out the magnets were printed... but not laminated. Also, they were off center. Maggie apologized and tried to convince you that the non-laminated ones should be fine (but that's not what we ordered) She also told that the not centered text was due to small spacing. (remember: we showed her the file, and said everything was fine, and even printed a sample while we were there, and again said it would be fine) We did not take this set of non-laminated, un-centered, useless magnets, despite her best efforts. We had rented an around the corner cutter to make rounded edges on the magnets. We were going to spend our weekend cutting these magnets, or so we thought. We were told that the magnets would be reprinted, laminated, and because of our hassle, the around the corner cutting would be completed at no extra charge, and ready for pick up on monday. We decided that it was a good idea to call them this time to ensure the magnets were completed before we left. To no surprise, they again, were not completed! This time, they had run out of laminate and could not complete the job until the next day. Maggie informed us that she would double check and give us a call back.. That never happened, we had to call her. (at every instance, we were never called to inform us of anything. We had to call them 4 different times to find out information) So today, we picked up the magnets! Everything appeared to have been done correctly. We inspected the first 10 or so magnets, and all looked well. When we got home, we checked the rest of the magnets, and out of the 100 that we ordered 38 of them are actually usable. The rest are bent right down the middle. Overall, I would not recommend this business to anyone. All the way from their customer service, to their finished product, we had nothing but trouble with this company. There is a plus though, they offer a lot of product choices (all of which will probably get screwed up!) read more

I needed a rush-order when Bang-On (a shit shop on Queen West) messed up my order just before I was about to travel. Customer service was excellent and on-point. Unfortunately, the colour I requested for my shirts wasn't exact on the order. However, both the customer service rep and the production manager worked fairly, promptly and cooperatively to find a solution that didn't leave me with extra cost for the inaccuracy. Very generous group of people, great customer service!

I wrote my review because I was embarrassed by the way the owners were trying to underbid each other to get my business. I have never witnessed this before outside a yard sale. The owners were haggling with one another on how cheaply to do the work for me. Are they starved for business that much that they have to fight with each other over how cheaply to get an order? That doesn't inspire confidence. I was also struck by how quickly one of the owners interrupted the lady who greeted me. She was explaining the cost and service just fine and out of nowhere the bartering starts by the owners. If you need my $15 that badly that you're going to underbid each other, then I will go somewhere with a stronger air of professionalism. I am not replying to any comments you might add here, Saul N. I give good reviews when they are warranted and bad reviews when I want to warn others away. As a business owner myself, I take the praise and criticism I get at Yelp and make myself better. I don't post back and try to justify an unprofessional, "cheap" atmosphere. I would really suggest you take a good look at your Facebook page as well. (Yes, I check out people's social media pages). You encourage your own lack of professionalism by posting pictures of employees drinking beer in the morning. You even had a potential client complain that you were so busy playing with your Scrabble tiles that you did not get back to him for over 24 hours when he wanted a quote on some work he wanted done. I thought your account had been hacked and punked but apparently this really IS the public face of Artik. Before you question MY intentions in writing a poor review on Artik, you might want to look at the way you actually present yourself in public. And the internet, social media, etc IS public. I placed an order with Artik in mid-April of 2013 with the understanding that it was going to be done properly, with exactly what I wanted and before the end of the month (their guarantee). The time came to pick up the order, and the associate handling my order asked for a few days extension. I saw no issue with the extension seeing as I needed the 20 sweaters I ordered for my cadets sports team by the 10th of May. He assured me that they'd be ready for pick up on the 2nd of May at 5pm. So, I sent my CO and CV down to pick them up with the final payment. When they got there, the associate in question apologized profusely stating, "I know I told her they'd be ready today and I apologize, but we just need a few more days because the order is so big." So, my CO and CV decided that the best thing to do would be to have it couriered to my CO's workplace for the 6th. Finally, I got the sweaters ready for distribution to the kids on the 9th. When I opened the box, I couldn't believe my eyes. The embroidering was orange (we asked for yellow/gold), four of the sweaters were missing player's last names, and it was just a shoddy job. It looked like a pile of shit and I was ready to light them all on fire. I called Artik and left a message because now we only had a 1 day turn around to get it sorted. With no response, I packed up the sweater the following morning and lugged them down on public transit from Pickering, all the way downtown. When I got there, I outlined all of the issues and opted to have them screen-printed so that I would have them by the end of the day. They told me that only the front and left sleeves would be done because the names and numbers were all different, and needed to be cut individually. Because my kids wanted them so badly, I accepted that and we agreed that Monday morning they would pick them up from me and have the rest done by Wednesday. So, later that day, I got a call from the same associate I had been dealing with, to come and get the sweaters for 5:30pm. Not only were they not ready by 5:30pm, but when we got there, he completely ignored us and then when we finally got to talking to him, he excused himself AND NEVER CAME BACK! We left Artik about an hour later after an argument with the owner. They burned one of the sweater sleeves and told us to roll it up for the competition and they'd replace it Monday. However, that's not the point. The point is that these kids had their hopes up so high, only to be shot down because people cant' do their jobs. They told us to present it to the kids as a life lesson, "things happen." I'm sure that if this happened with one of the larger companies that they service like TD, Scotiabank, Microsoft or Wal-Mart, this would not have happened! But hey, these are just kids, why should they care?! I was ensured, by the owner that these sweaters would be ready today, and of course they're not. So who knows what's going to happen now.. Moral of the story: Don't go to Artik if you want the job done properly. *I only gave it 1/5 because I couldn't give it 0/5* read more

Artik is an excellent business, and they only provide the best service and products. When I entered, I was greeted by the friendly staff. I needed promotional items, and decided on calendar magnets. I liked how they took the approach of showing me the process step by step, to ensure I would only get something that was perfect, right down to the last detail. I was told that it would be ready in 3 days. Not only was the order finished quickly, but I was blown away when I saw the finished product, it was perfect.
