Further to my July 2023 review, I noticed this morning that the T-shirt now has two small holes on the front. I've never bought such a poor quality T shirt in my life. That says a lot, since I'm 64 and have bought shirts from Ireland to Malaysia to NZ to Newfoundland; I still wear t-shirts which I bought on trips 15 years ago. This is a pretty cool system. You design the shirt at home, upload it to their online design site, pay then pick it up in the store! They actually ask you to call first so that your shirt is ready, but I forgot to do that and showed up before it was done. They were able to prepare it right in front of me, in about 10 minutes. They also have stock designs and mix and match designs if you're not artistically inclined. I believe you can also design in the store, as they have a computer set up for customers. A 1-colour shirt with printing on both front and back was $45 taxes in. I was very very happy with the results and the quality of the shirt. Also, the guys working the store were very nice, and one of them looked a bit like 1995 Jonathan Silverman, which was pretty exciting for me. read more

This is the first time i'm making a customized T-shirt. Truth be said, I was skeptical about the quality of the sheets at first. But I admit, I was happy with the t-shirts quality, quick service and value the suggestion of the creative people working here. They were quick to greet you, eventhough I looked lost & confused not knowing what I want initially... Easy peasy. You go in and they'll print anything on a T-shirt. This means you can find an image and they'll print it, or they can create an image or text with you. It then takes only 5 minutes and your shirt is ready. I've done a lot of cute shirts, they range in price depending on how complex the printed image is, but honestly to have a custom made shirt I don't find them overly expensive. When it was my first Christmas (I didn't celebrate the holiday until I married my husband), I printed a bunch of matching shirts for everyone in the family that said "AMELIA'S FIRST XMAS" and everyone loved them. That's just one example of something you could do. Sky is the limit. The staff are super friendly, sometimes they get busy so you have to wait in line but they are usually pretty well staffed. read more

Customizable t-shirts? What's not to love? My bf went here to get shirts for a... you guessed it... stag. They had every type of shirt imaginable and were able to work out a reasonable price for the 15 shirts. The guys that work there weren't overly friendly, but they were knowledgeable and willing to do whatever my bf needed, AND the shirts were ready on time, no hassle, no delays. I was making an extremely last minute decision on what to get hubby for his bday that was coming up in 2 days and when one idea fell through I stumbled upon this company and when I read how a custom T-shirt could be made same day I was all for it. And the service and product did not disappoint. Even the website was very easy to use. I didn't have personal art work Ready to use so my plan was to use words only and there was a great selection of font style and colour to choose from. Wow! I came in with a friend needing to have a shirt printed, but we were still unsure of the design, and we eventually came up with one but couldn't create the image file for it. So we showed it to the guy there and he immediately started helping us create it on Illustrator. He did an amazing job and it looked exactly how we wanted and couldn't have turned out any better. This is my go-to place for printing shirts. I've come here 3 times now and each time the service has been fantastic. All the designers know exactly what they're doing and are really good at suggesting things (e.g. colors) to improve on your design for the perfect shirt. Prices are a little expensive for those who don't order in bulk, but if you really want something unique the it's really worth it The clothing comes with the price, but if you bring your own you get 5 bucks off. (I usually get something from Chinatown for 2$, but if I don't want to bother with the hassle then I just use their's). They have a good selection of clothes color-wise but they are hit or miss with sizes. I always have to compromise for a shirt of another color because they never have the size I need. :( If you're an average size, you might want to think about bringing your own if you're picky about color/cut. Some of name brands (like american apparel) have an additional cost. They have signs everywhere reminding you not to forget your memory card with them.... Happens to me every time...OOPS. read more

I have ordered shirts twice from here and have been impressed both times. I have never ordered online or in bulk, so I cant review for that, but I have done two walk ins. The idea is that you choose a design (or bring your own) and then get it put on a tshirt, or you can bring your own for that and get (5?) dollars off. The first time, I was purchasing a gift for a friend, who had walked by the store months before and seen a shirt. I went in and had to ask about it from not knowing anything but the vague description she gave me. Staff were friendly and able to help me right away. It took me three time to get a shirt in the right size and colour, I wish they had more stock, but they were also pretty busy at the time. The shirt was made right away & looked great! The second time, I brought my own hoodie, and went in with a design idea in mind. Staff were very helpful in making sure I got what I wanted, and my hoodie ended up to be perfect! The price is not inexpensive, but it isn't unreasonable. The product that you get justifies the cost. I would recommend this store and would certainly go there again. read more

I went to the store to make a set of custom tank tops for a sport team. The staff were very knowledgeable about how my design would look and what color shirt it would show up best on. The turn around time for my order was very quick as well. The shirts themselves seem high quality and fit very nicely. NOTE: women's shirts here are very small compared to most stores! At this point I have to point out their exceptional customer service. Professional from the beginning. Easy to use website and design software. Flexible and simple. The staff followed up about the logo and the clarity of the text in the logo. The hoodies look great! Suggestion: I'm not sure how the process goes with getting the print on the shirt, but a suggestion would be to shrink the area where there is no image so the pressed area doesn't extend too far out (haven't washed the hoodies so maybe this washes out). This is a long overdue review, but I just wanted to rave about how great Toronto Tees is. As it was my first time ever purchasing a customized t-shirt NOT in bulk, I was curious as to what the process would entail and what the prices would be. A lot of my friends have quirky sense of humours, so I thought a creative present for Christmas this year would be custom t-shirts. I've walked past Toronto Tees several times on Yonge Street, as it's bright display with humorous t-shirts is hard to miss, and decided to give it a try this holiday. My friend and I dropped by so that we could get four custom t-shirts with a logo we had come up with only in our minds (but hadn't drawn) done. ...The verdict for Toronto Tees? 110% worth it. It should be EVERYONE's go-to for a memorable, thoughtful, and unique present that's sure to get a laugh from the Prices: Really, really affordable! I purchased a custom t-shirt for about $20-25. The more you order, the bigger the discount (I ordered one, so I think it came to about $25). The people working there also very understanding when it comes to working on a budget, so if you're not sure what your t-shirt will come to, feel free to ask them questions and discuss it with them. Set-up: Toronto Tees is a surprisingly clean and spacious store. One of my favourite things about it is that it contains a tasteful wall gallery of sample t-shirts that have been made before, with different logos and images used; from there, you can choose if you want a similar logo or image (maybe with different words or phrases, etc.), or you can design your own or bring your own image for them to print on a t-shirt for you. There's a big screen in front of the counter facing you, where they will design the logo of the shirt or draw up a sketch of the shirt so that you can see exactly what it'll look like before they print it - and if you'd like to make any changes/suggestions to it, they can accomodate that, too! You can also watch as they print the t-shirts right in front of you -it's a totally transparent process, and I love the relaxed atmosphere of the store (they really don't judge you on what you want on your t-shirt.) The person who helped us, Marvin, even took the time to explain to us what he was doing, and the steps involved in t-shirt printing, as he did it. Service: HUGE shout out to Marvin* (I think that was his name!), who was really friendly and made our experience a great one! Marvin was totally cool not only with the fact that we didn't have an image of the logo we wanted on our T-shirt, but even asked us to show him pictures of what we had in mind. In front of our very eyes (I'm sounding a bit melodramatic here, but it really was a cool thing to see,) he started to design a logo exactly like the one we had imagined. After asking us for our input, he then helped us to pick out t-shirts that we could have our logo printed on. Seriously, I can't rave enough about how much patience, creativity, and dedication the staff here have - Marvin was hilarious, very accomodating, and more than willing to go above and beyond to help us to create the perfect t-shirt. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to fonts, so to see Marvin design a logo with the exact font I had had in mine, and to recreate an image that I showed him from the internet, was amazing. Thanks, Marvin - because of you, we'll definitely be coming back to order more t-shirts! Ask for him the next time you're at the store. Product: The t-shirts at Toronto Tees are a great quality. The stores I usually shop at for t-shirts include Aritzia (on the pricier side,) and Forever 21/H&M when I'm not as willing to splurge. I can say that Toronto Tees is a great in-between - their t-shirts don't fray, they hold up well, and they stay true to their size. They also have a nice, diverse selection of colours and sizes! The final results: Our T-shirts looked FABULOUS. The four of my friends and I can't stop wearing them, and we get compliments all the time on where we got the t-shirts. If I had known how terrible the service comegetcustomeized provided, I would have never gone to them in the first place. Nor will I go again or suggest anyone go either. I placed an order online for a custom t-shirt (go figure). When I called in to make the payment, I inquired when the shirt would be ready for pick-up and they informed me that same afternoon. That seemed really fast, but they confirmed when I clarified. So I got lazy and went in a couple days later, expecting to pop in, grab the shirt then go. Upon arrival, they did not have the shirt I ordered ready. They then had to ask the details of my order, like shirt size and colour. Dumb question, considering you pulled up my order and the details were on the screen in front of them. Not to mention, I wasn't directly involved with the planning of this shirt so the details weren't known to me. The crappy service didn't end here. Turns out they don't have the shirt in the size specified in stock. Go figure, maybe this is a function their website should have if they have a problem keeping track of stock, perhaps a pop-up informing the customer they don't have that particular colour or size in. Ok so maybe they have issues syncing their stock up with their website, the person who I spoke to on the phone could have confirmed whether they could fulfill this order. When I went to choose another shirt, they didn't have that one either. I went through about 40-50% of the colours they offered, none of which came in Medium (a pretty common size if you ask me). How are these acceptable business practices? A) my order isn't ready when you said it would be B) you have no stock in! C) you make no attempt to try and make up for the fact A & B have occurred (i.e. here's 15% off your next visit or let's give you a partial refund). Anything to help alleviate the annoyance and bad experience you've caused by inconveniencing a customer several times over. Apparently I must have missed some kind of fine print where they don't actually offer custom orders, considering the t-shirt was not made to the design specificatins. Was here this morning for an oh so inside joke tshirt that I needed t get printed. They did in less than 5 minutes! I kid you not! That is less time than for me to make a cup of nice tea! You have the option of buying their clothing (tees, tanks, adult and kid sizes) or you can bring your own item in and they will knock off $5. Honestly, I felt that they should knock off at least $10 if you bring in your own item,but that is just one minor issue. I had the idea of what I wanted but they really gave me some great suggestions on how to make it better and it came out exactly as how I had it pictured in my head - they read my mind and I didn't feel anything at all! LOL. The price is decent, you can create your own text/logos/slogans via their website and just go pick up or you can use one of theirs. Their website is super easy to use - def recommend this place if you need custom items for work/parties etc. Will go back! read more

Incredibly responsive, helpful, accurate, efficient, flexible when I changed shirt size orders (4 times) PRE printing, and gratefully on time! If I could have given zero stars, I would have. I had been very clear about needing t-shirts for an event, and had been in touch with the owner a number of times to ensure that the order was placed far enough in advance that there would be no issues with timing. When I called the day the t-shirts were supposed to arrive to make sure they would still be on their way, I was told they had not even started producing them. No apology or solution was offered, and we ended up having to pay astronomical (but completely fair) rush fees for Simply Imprints to create the t-shirts for us instead. read more
