I came to this location to meet up with some friends and like others mentioned: it is newly opened and very busy, but not a crazy wait either. I've been wanting to try for a while since my friend goes here all the time. I'm not really a fan of bone-in wings, so I opted for the boneless without even realizing it was 60 cent boneless day, (Mon-Tues). I love the Asian fusion flavors that separates this place from a Wing Stop or Buffalo Wild Wings. The 8 piece set was surprisingly very filling. I tried the Thai chili and Habenero Mango. It wasn't as crunchy as I usually like, but I loved the flavors. The garlic noodles were also great. Good value for only $6, I would come back again! read more

The quality has gone down since my first review. The wings were all much smaller. This time we tried the fire wings, salt and pepper and thai chili. The fire wings had good flavor, better than the medium buffalo flavor and it was a good "spicy". The salt and pepper wings tasted good still but the wings were extremely dry and the batter was not as good as the first time. The Thai chili was waaaaay too sweet. It reminded me of the sweet and spicy sauce that comes in a skinny glass jar at the Asian market. I think they literally used that sauce and just added some green onions. Overall the wings were dry at parts and the batter was disappointing since it was so good the first time. read more

BOMB WINGS.... delicious sauce selection... beer selection... and great service! I tried the Lemon Pepper and the Original BBQ, and I recommend both! You can try any of the sauces listed (except dry rub for obv. Reasons) though I haven't tried the other flavors I highly recommend either of lemon pepper or BBQ. Each order comes with a side of veggies or fries, and a dipping sauce. The wings weren't too over seasoned and the they're pretty generous with the size. Would recommend over wingstop for sure. Overall, would recommend to a friend. The staff is helpful as soon as you walk in, they have awesome music playing all the time and it's a aesthetically pleasing place to come in and enjoy some delicious food! read more

Im not usually one to leave bad reviews or care when a restaurant messes up an order but what happened at fire wings was just so...odd? My roommate ordered a 20 piece wing in person 30-45 min before closing, so fair enough we were a bit late. Nonetheless when we get home we open a box of disgusting smelling noodles, it literally smelled like rotting cheese or something. I didnt even notice they had noodles on their menu let alone such a huge, disgusting smelling portion. We laughed it off but when we went back the next day they showed no sympathy and the cashier, Benjamin, was laughing with another person i the back about "Oh thats last nights ticket, the last one from yesterday", so I could easily tell from their giggling that this was on purpose. They also wouldnt apologize without running back and laughing. They remade our wings very poorly and corporation and this store did nothing to compensate us for a waste of 20 wings. In a nutshell, RIP WingStop. Much meatier chicken & by far much tastier!!!!!!! Garlic fries & seasoned fries are GOOD!!!!!!! We had the lemon pepper, mango habernero, fire flavor all boneless and were great for tonight's dinner. We also had the original buffalo bone in and these were my favorite. On Saturday, September 30, 2017 it's their official grand opening & their manager Sheldon, says all wings will be half off. Guess what. I'll be there tomorrow to get this great food!!!!!! I rarely review places unless it really sucks. And I gotta say after eating my food I downloaded yelp just to write a review on how shitty this place is. I got the $.60 boneless wing special with the Thai chili and mango habanero flavors. Regardless of my flavor choices, I felt like I was eating some poorly fried chicken. The flavors covered 1/4 of my boneless chicken and didn't taste good. It says mango habanero is level 2 spicy, and compared to wing stop this mango habanero is level 0 spicy. They also charge an extra $.70 for ranch, which they don't tell you either. 1/10 experience read more

I came to this specific location a few weeks ago. I watched one of the food prep guys with his latex gloves on come from the kitchen to the dining room, bus tables and touch dirty dishes and then immediately walk back and handled food without changing his gloves. Absolutely a health code violation and it was totally disgusting. The food at this location is fine/okay, but the fact that the manager allows that practice to occur is the reason I'd never come back to this location. read more

I love fire wings! However this location has fallen short the last 2 times I've visited. Cold frys after 15-20 min wait for food. One of the wing flavors weren't very fresh and if I didn't check the bag on my to go order I would not have gotten my paid for condiments or napkins. read more

SOOOO happy another wings place opened in Davis. Wingstop is good and everything, but it's nice to switch it up. My friend and I tried the buffalo stampede, salt and pepper, and saigon street. Out of the 3, buffalo stampede and salt and pepper were my favorite flavors. Saigon street was a little to sweet... I may have to try a spicier flavor next time. Although I liked the flavor of buffalo stampede, the wings for that flavor were MUCH smaller than the salt&pepper and saigon street wings. Maybe since they just opened, there is some inconsistency in the kitchen idk. Also, buffalo stampede was labeled as 2 spicy stars, however, the spice was barely noticeable. Overall great wings, I'll have to come back to try more flavors. As far as the sides go, the carrots/celery was pretty generic. The fries on the other hand were much better than I was expecting. Fire wings is my go to place for french fries! Their seasoned fries are sooooo good :) they seem to be slightly battered and have lots of flavor. Also fire wings has delicious ranch. I went here during their grand opening when they were promoting 50% off their combo meals and ever since...I've been thinking about their wings!! MUST-HAVES: + Korean Wings + Salt and Pepper Wings + Peanut Butter Wings (Don't skip out on this if you haven't tried it!!) + Seasoned fries (You can choose seasoned over regular fries for their side on your combo!) This place was incredibly and surprisingly great. I had a date last Tuesday and we were originally gonna go to I Love Sushi but they were only doing take out so we decided to come here where we could sit inside. It was just my luck that they have this deal on Mondays and Tuesday's where boneless wings are 70¢ each (minimum order of 5 wings; if you get different flavors, you also have to get at least five). I got 5 Peanut Butter Fusion wings + 5 Cali Rub wings and she got 5 Buffalo wings. I got the Peanut Butter just because I wanted to be surprised and it was certainly a good risk. It was really similar to an Indian Peanut Sauce kind of taste, very interesting. The Cali Rub wings were also phenomenal. My date also really enjoyed her wings. The ambience of the place while we ate and talked was really nice too, even for a small little joint. This is definitely a place I would recommend to my friends and I'll definitely be returning here in the future. read more

Really good spot to eat. The wings were crispy and not dry. I'll probably come back to try all the different flavors soon. my only gripe is that the server didn't tell us which flavor was which, so i had to guess.... It sucks if you're friend can't handle certain spices or flavors. But the cashiers are super friendly and welcoming. read more

On our way to Sac Town we decide to detour into Davis to try Fire Wings. Fire Wings is located in a Sav Mart strip mall flanked by homeless and what appears to be student housing. The restaurant is somewhat modern; order at the counter and they bring to you. Service is slow but wings are actually pretty tasty. I order 10 wings only, half Salt & Pepper and the other half Louisiana dry rub. The wings are very meaty, moist and the Louisiana dry rub was bursting with flavor. The Salt & Pepper not so much flavor and for some reason covered with onions and peppers - WTF. Price for 10 wings only totaled 10.19 so I give them points for that. Since I only try and drink water now that presents a small challenge here. Water cups are tiny and dolts that hover around the drink machine makes for frustration when you make your 6th visit to fill your water thimble. With that shit behind me I still give Fire Wings 4 stars for producing a pretty damn good wing. read more

I don't recommend going in this branch, their service is very bad. Last time, I ordered here and it took 1hr to pick up my order and nobody is in front they're all in the kitchen. I tried following up my order in the store because i've been waiting in the car for an hour and nobody is helping me out and staff are all busy chating in the kitchen. read more

As someone with a weak stomach, it's hard not having greasy food without having a bad stomach ache. Usually I suck it up just because I love wings and fries, but fire wings did not upset my stomach one bit! Not only that, the wings were very delicious and much bigger than wingstop wings I've had in the past. I was also pleasantly surprised at the amount of flavors to choose from and some I've never heard before like the Saigon and Korean. My order of 20pc bone-in wings, along with large fries and veggie sticks came out to be $24 total and was good for a party of 3. The food came out 12 minutes after ordering, which is pretty great compared to the wait I've been experiencing at other wing places! The fries were also AMAZING! Tasted like the batter from the fish in real U.K. Fish & chips. Def will come here again, now that I've found a wing place that doesn't upset my stomach read more

Unless there were hundreds of online orders placed before my friend and I got here, my experience at Fire Wings was quite frankly ridiculous. We ordered 2 10 piece combos at around 7:45 and it took until 8:30 for our food to come to us. Other parties also got their food before us, so I'm assuming that they forgot to make our food, saw us in an empty room waiting for it, said "shit we forgot", then made our 20 dry, small, bland wings soaked in grease. A waste of $30 and 45 minutes, unless management fixes their workers, I won't be back. read more

Came in on July 1st, 2019. We learned that they close earlier during summer. We ordered the Salt & Pepper, Thai Chili, Fire Wings and Chicken Teriyaki wings. We also got the mozzarella sticks & fries. The Salt & Pepper wings were a little too salty & it came with grilled onions (3/5). The Thai Chili wings tasted sweet & sour and would have definitely been perfect served with steam rice (but they didn't have that). The Fire Wings were spicy but not as spicy as you'd think (3/5). The Chicken Teriyaki wings had too much sauce in my opinion but were decent (3/5). The mozzarella sticks were crispy but I wish it was a bit crunchier. I've been meaning to go to Fire Wings for a while and finally decided to treat myself. They have an easy menu to go through and plenty of flavors. I tried their Korean kick, Lemon pepper, and original buffalo. The Korean kick was my favorite! Flavorful and mildly spicy...it's sauce heavy - just the way I like it! The lemon pepper was very flavorful but maybe a little too lemony for me. Their buffalo flavor was also pretty tasty. They have a variety of flavors that I definitely want to try! Ordered Garlic Parmesan + Lemon Pepper boneless chicken with garlic fries. The chicken tastes good, so did half of the fries. I could only eat the top layer of fries because the bottom layer was drowning in oil and cheese. It was extremely salty from "marinating" in that mix. Honestly, I felt like I was eating chunks of oil, so I had to throw out the rest. If you look at the picture, you can see a little pool of oil just from me tipping the box. read more

This place was sooooo good! I was surprised by how many great choices they had on their menu! 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone. If I could give them 6 stars on Yelp I would. Definitely coming here again! Tell your kids, tell your wife, tell your neighbors dog about this place because honestly there's no other place like it. This place could possibly bring people back from the dead. I dream about this place in my sleep. I wish I could forget about this place so I could try it for the first time again. Not too bad...reminds me of another wing spot in the Bay Area that closed down. The wings were a little on the dry side...or at least the inside was. It seemed like the flavor was only on the outside. I would recommend probably getting their Classic flavors if you want the most flavor. Dry Rub was definitely Dry and Fusion's hit or miss. The Salt & Pepper was like mostly Salt. The seasoned fries were good at least! This place is just OK though...I prob would go somewhere else for my chicken wing cravings. read more

My go-to order is the Prawn and Egg with rice, either lunch or dinner. Last time I had an appointment at the Kaiser down the street was a great excuse to stop in to Four Seasons. I've also tried their Sweet and Sour Chicken, General Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Fish with Black Bean Sauce, Pork and Green Beans, BBQ Pork and Snow Peas, Broccoli Beef, Combination Pan Fried Noodles, Salt and Pepper Fish, Salt and Pepper Pork, Salted Fish and Chicken Fried Rice, Beef Chow Fun, and even some of their dim sum items like egg tarts. There are several tables and self-serve water if you want to dine-in. Ordering ahead by phone is also easy, they're open until 9:30 PM daily. There are a few parking spots right in front but shared with the Chevron gas station.

We came here for lunch on a Sunday. It's located in a big plaza, so there's usually tons of parking available. They have a three categories of flavors to choose from (Classic, dry rub, and fusion) and a variety of flavors in each category. They also have symbols to show how spicy a flavor is, which is very helpful. We ordered the Malaysian Curry Rub, BBQ Chipotle, and we decided to be adventurous and get the spiciest flavor which was the Fire Wing. We also got all of our wings boneless. They have water, a soda machine, utensils, and napkins up front on the counter for you to grab. We found a seat right away, which might be a little difficult during rush hours since the place is a little small. It took around 20 minutes for us to get our wings, which is a little long but around the same wait time as other places like Wingstop. The workers were very kind and brought our food out to our table and made sure we were all doing well. We enjoyed the food very much. Our favorite flavor was the BBQ Chipotle which had a nice sauce to it. We also liked how a lot of the pieces were pretty large. Malaysian Curry Rub was also good and had a lot of seasoning. The fire wings were super spicy (as expected)!! It made us break a sweat and burn our tongues for a while, but it still had a good taste to it. We wouldn't recommend it though, if you can't handle spice very well. It seems like a fancier version of Wingstop basically. Overall, we had a nice experience here! read more

This place is sooooooo good!! I saw them building it for awhile next to the Paris Baguette and I was hoping it was going to be a Korean chicken place. It's not, but I think they might use a similar frying method. It's very crispy and the flavor options are all really good (at least of the ones I tried). I went with a large group and we got the 100 piece deal they have. It was a lot of food and we were all full. I LOVE WINGS, let me start by saying that. I have been to a lot of wing places (ie. wingstop, buffalo wild wings, etc) and don't get me wrong those places are good but fire wings, JESUS, delicious place and not to mention this specific one in Davis, CA has an amazing kind staff who never short you on the wing sizes and always seem so happy. By far the best wings I tried in a while! Way better than your typical mainstream wing joints like wingstop. The size of the wings is pretty decent too. I really enjoyed the buffalo stampede flavor. It has just the right amount of heat. The seasoned fries are pretty good too. My boyfriend tried a new item they recently added, the chili cheese fries and he said they were really good. I pretty much always order the same thing (Louisiana rub) because it is so good, but they have so many yummy options. Most of their sides are equally good. It's mostly meant for pickup it seems, as there isn't much room inside the restaurant and it's very noisy, but I don't like eating inside anyway. read more

I always order the #4 combo($11.95) which is a slider and a side of seasoned fries. The chicken is available in multiple heat levels, I generally go between mild and medium, though I did hot once and it was too hot for me--medium is my sweet spot.. The fries are seasoned so well, I really enjoy the taste. Each order comes with the Crazy D's sauce and it pairs so well with the chicken sliders-I really enjoy it.
