A large Wonton Soup was $15.00, 1 bowl for each of us. Very greasy, 4 egg rolls. $28.00 for dinner. $$$

2. General's Chicken lunch combo

Hit or miss. The beef dishes are decent like the broccoli beef and mongolian. Every time i go with the chicken im disappointed. This general chicken doesnt taste like any other chinese place ive had, and the breading was very soggy. It's honesty not good and ruined my lunch.

This is a picture of the hair my mother found in her chicken chow mein.

The food was slightly lower mid-level; until a hair was found in my takeout. Tried to call and let them know but no answer.

Dinner for 2 option A 16.99 each person Sweet and Sour Pork Broccoli Chicken

Dinner for 2 option A 16.99 each person It comes with chicken&broccoli, sweet n sour pork, 2 cheese wontons, 2 spring rolls, and rice but we subbed the rice for pork chowmain. ANN IS AMAZING!

The portions were large, the seafood soup, beef in garlic sauce, Mongolian beef, rice and BBC Pork Bun (a must order) were incredible.

I haven't enjoyed food this much in a long time. The staff was very friendly. Thank you very much to the chef, it was incredible!

mongolian beef, 6 small pieces of beef and a whole lot of onions

came here for lunch, 4/5 on yelp so why not. my to go came up to about almost $12. food was good but dannggg i would have rather gone to chipotle or something. there were a lot of onions and really not that much beef! kind of shocking to pay 12 bucks for a whole lot of onions, half chowmein and half fried rice! 3 stars because everything was seasoned well but i would personally go somewhere else.

Garlic broccoli and fried rice lunch special.

The staff is so friendly and the food was delicious! I got so much food for under $12 with my lunch special. I'm vegetarian but I like really good food so I got the garlic broccoli with fried rice and I haven't even finished half and I'm getting so full and satisfied. I can't wait to have the leftovers! And once again, the staff was so friendly and nice. I really enjoyed my whole experience.

Food and service have always been great. It's a local mom and pop restaurant. Go support them :)

This place was nice and cool, when it was 110 degrees outside. The food was delicious and the General's chicken was so tasty!

Delicious food and big portions for a reasonable price. Staff was friendly; great service with a smile. Will definitely go back again.

I saw online that this was a historic Chinese American cafe from the 1900s that was shutting down…read moreso we wanted to give it a visit before. The food was miss all around. Some dishes were too salty, some were too bland, very greasy. The flavors had all one dimension so I quickly got bored of the taste. Many of us couldn't finish our food. It didn't feel worth $15. The service was also disappointing. It took us a half and hour to get seated and an hour to get our waters. There's apparently only one waitress ever who seemed very overwhelmed and unhappy to be at work. It also took a while to flag her down to ask for the check. The ambiance is also eerie. The taxidermy is outdated. There was no music. There seemed to be no good airflow in the restaurant. I don't mean to just write a review to be cruel. But I do understand why this restaurant is going out of business. And honestly the food, ambiance, and service all need a fresh restart.

Now the egg foo yong was excellent. The only thing I would ask for is more gravy. We really love the gravy and they just wasn't quite enough of it. All in all it was a good meal, large serving and the service was excellent.

Yang Kee Dumpling is located in a small strip mall, equipped with plenty of parking, and EV chargers. When arrived it wasn't too busy, and the hostess showed me to my table. In front of my table was where the staff was making dumplings (they were behind glass). After looking at the menu, I opted to get some traditional soup dumplings, bbq pork fried rice, and pineapple bao buns for dessert. My server was Bing and she was nice and efficient. She came back to check on me a few times throughout my dining experience. My fried rice came out first. It was a LARGE serving of fried rice, it of course had eggs, carrots, peas, and BBQ pork. It was flavorful. Next came out the soup dumplings. They were brought out in a steamer basket with a top to keep them warm. These were amazing. The light and delicate dough, mixed with the savory pork filling, and the salty broth was perfection. Next came out my pineapple bao buns. To be honest, I wasn't sure how I was going to like them. To my surprise these may have been the star of the show. The dough was light and sweet, the top was carmelized and sweet, and the custard inside reminded me of a Dole Whip from disney (exept it wasn't cold, it was warm). These were pretty large and I'm semi embarrassed to admint I had 2 3/4 bao buns myself. Go here. It's delicious.
