We got the 2 person meal with Sweet and sour pork, orange chicken and fired rice. The food itself was tasty and the portions were huge.

Very mediocre food, but large portions. I really don't get these reviews that say the food was "delicious." Meh.

I saw online that this was a historic Chinese American cafe from the 1900s that was shutting down…read moreso we wanted to give it a visit before. The food was miss all around. Some dishes were too salty, some were too bland, very greasy. The flavors had all one dimension so I quickly got bored of the taste. Many of us couldn't finish our food. It didn't feel worth $15. The service was also disappointing. It took us a half and hour to get seated and an hour to get our waters. There's apparently only one waitress ever who seemed very overwhelmed and unhappy to be at work. It also took a while to flag her down to ask for the check. The ambiance is also eerie. The taxidermy is outdated. There was no music. There seemed to be no good airflow in the restaurant. I don't mean to just write a review to be cruel. But I do understand why this restaurant is going out of business. And honestly the food, ambiance, and service all need a fresh restart.

Now the egg foo yong was excellent. The only thing I would ask for is more gravy. We really love the gravy and they just wasn't quite enough of it. All in all it was a good meal, large serving and the service was excellent.

Restaurant is on the smaller side, more of a takeout place rather than dine in, but overall ambiance was very chill. Katsu plate lunch - was really good. chicken was tender and crispy. Poke bowl - was alright, felt like there could have been more to it. Overall, enjoyed the meal! :)

Found Kuji thanks to Yelp and was craving bibimbap. Lo and behold, Kuji was close to the freeway and provided a much needed break. Located in a strip mall, there is seating alongside the wall and in the front. You pay at the counter and pick up your food. The bibimbap had a healthy serving of spinach (yay!) as well as marinated beef. Banchan is a separate charge, so I skipped that. Maybe it was the type of bowl it was served in, but one of the best things about bibimbap is the crunch burnt rice at the bottom. OMG. I love the texture and the taste. Unfortunately this did not deliver. There was a hint of crispiness at the bottom but not the usual amount that I would have liked. Nonetheless.the taste was spot on and should I get stuck in traffic again would drop by to try out other menu items.

I was recommended by a local to try Yang Kee Dumpling because I had a hankering for some…read moretraditional/authentic Chinese food. Yang Kee Dumpling is located in a small strip mall, equipped with plenty of parking, and EV chargers. When arrived it wasn't too busy, and the hostess showed me to my table. In front of my table was where the staff was making dumplings (they were behind glass). After looking at the menu, I opted to get some traditional soup dumplings, bbq pork fried rice, and pineapple bao buns for dessert. My server was Bing and she was nice and efficient. She came back to check on me a few times throughout my dining experience. My fried rice came out first. It was a LARGE serving of fried rice, it of course had eggs, carrots, peas, and BBQ pork. It was flavorful. Next came out the soup dumplings. They were brought out in a steamer basket with a top to keep them warm. These were amazing. The light and delicate dough, mixed with the savory pork filling, and the salty broth was perfection. Next came out my pineapple bao buns. To be honest, I wasn't sure how I was going to like them. To my surprise these may have been the star of the show. The dough was light and sweet, the top was carmelized and sweet, and the custard inside reminded me of a Dole Whip from disney (exept it wasn't cold, it was warm). These were pretty large and I'm semi embarrassed to admint I had 2 3/4 bao buns myself. Go here. It's delicious.
