    10 Wings Combo Plate
    Kellee B.

I was surprised to see the low rating and normally may not have even stopped in but I was craving wings. I made the right decision. The wings were crispy, flavorful, and hit the spot! I ordered all wings bone-in with half Thai chili sauce and the other half peanut butter. I think the peanut butter was hotter than the Thai chili! Since I ordered the combo, I also got a drink and their seasoned fries. Once again the fries were crisped to perfection. I absolutely despise soggy fries. I ordered online and it was a breeze so I'll be back here when the wing craving hits again.

Great wings. I am never disappointed. My favorite flavors are buffalo stampede and Malaysian curry. They are the best wet and dry rub they have. Service is always quick. They also have a very clean aesthetic.

    Original sandwich with seasoned fries.

3.5 stars. Service is a 5. The food is pretty good but the chicken taste frozen like any other chicken tender. Their fries are the best item in my opinion. The pickles 1/5 why would anyone have these kind of pickles in their restaurant? Everything was fresh though and their ranch and blue cheese is 5/5. The prices are a bit high. I probably wouldn't come back unless I was over here like I was today getting new tires at the Les Schwab. Super friendly staff.

I really liked this place. I took food with me. I want to come again. They brought everything out quickly. The chicken was hot and juicy.

I love the variety of flavors that fire wings has, as well as the quality of the food that they give. Look at it like this we have seven different fire wings in Sacramento and Roseville area all together. I just hate that every single one will give only one sauce for all the wings and fries that we have, it's the most stupidest thing ever. Wingstop would never! I need to file a petition to corporate to where we can atleast get 2 sauces per 10 wings with a side of fries.. We pay a good grip, $18 for a whole combo meal to only get one sauce, then have to pay for extra sauce! That's insane!

Yeah no lie I am pretty upset. I came through at damn near the exact time my online order said it be ready. 2056. I pulled up at 2058 and the order was in a bag out in the open under no type of heat. The lady was kind so I am not saying anything on the kindliness however I did have the opportunity to express my concern in asking "do you happen to know how long my food has been ready?" She said honestly prolly like 15 minutes. I was like damn but after that she didnt say anything about it. I thought she would had taken initiative to redo or offer sometype of comeback meal. Idk. All I do know is nobody wants to go home to a cold meal which I can feel through the bag right now that I am not satisfied with the temperature of this food. Please take care of me fire wings so I can get this sour taste out of my mouth from how business is conducted here. Yeah so just opened the back shortly later and wings are surely cold to wear I got to microwave them . Also them noodles do not look like a large. Posted so yall could see. Maybe at this point I am overanalyzing but man, i really had to work for this meal today and feel so undervalued as a customer rn. Hope yall hmu. Ill be down to take the review down and improvise to a better one if lead.

Loved all their flavors. There's a wide range of choices from non spicy to super hot. The whole ordering process was smooth and the food was served hot.

Thai chili wings, REG - GARLIC FRIES
    Elizabeth A.

My first time here. Ordered Thai chili wings and garlic fries..wings were good, crispy, good flavor..but the garlic fries pool of grease and parmesan cheese at the bottom. I couldnt finish them, and I LOVE fries! barely any garlic either..I would come back for the wings and possibly garlic noodles but I wonder if those are greasy also..disappointing.

Peanut butter wings...hard..over cooked...the grease tasted rancid...made me sick

Avoid, rip off, slow, bad all around. They switched up their boneless wings, now they are small breaded trash. Never again.

I wanted to charge my laptop and they were able to accommodate me with a table near an outlet. Unfortunately, they don't have any Wi-Fi service. On to the food! $4 for a bottomless cup of coffee is pretty steep especially when it just tastes like Folger's. I ordered standard breakfast fare...two eggs (sunny-side up), two sausage links, with homestyle potatoes and sourdough toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly! Then I realized I got bacon instead of sausage and the waitress brought me two links at no charge. Great service! But the breakfast sausage was horrible. No kidding, frozen Brown n Serve sausage is better than this. On the other hand, the bacon was delicious perfectly cooked. The homestyle potatoes were fine (but needed the available Tabasco) but I'd rather just have regular hash browns. The sourdough toast tasted just like white bread (maybe it was?) and was pre-buttered. I can butter my own toast, thanks. It wasn't a bad breakfast but nothing great either. With the mediocre coffee and tip my total was $23. That's a bit steep for not a lot of food. Would I come back? Maybe for some other breakfast items or lunch. I suppose $20+ a person is the "norm" now for most sit-down restaurants but the quality and quantity at Huckleberry's hardly justifies it. 2.5 stars.

This takes me to "812 Grill" which has slowly gained a small cult following through social media since opening back in mid-2024. Located in a large outdoor strip mall on busy Watt Ave in North Highlands, 812 Grill is tucked smack dab in between Freedom Park Dr and Karl Dr. Parking was easy to find as there aren't a whole lot of businesses close to where they are located. I came here during the afternoon on Sunday 1/18/2026 at around 4:30pm. For those wondering, they are open for business Tuesday through Sunday from 11am-9pm and closed on Monday. You also have the option of placing your order online for pickup or delivery (DoorDash, Uber Eats, & Postmates). Since I did neither, I ordered my food the old fashioned way and that was at the ordering station area of the truck. I went with what was arguably their most popular item, the "Chicken Shawarma". They carry these in chicken as well as beef while you can also opt fora complete meal with fries. In addition to the Shawarma, they also specialize in a Halal-style cheeseburger as well as raptor fries (available in chicken or beef), wings, chopped cheese, and several lemonade flavors. And when my shawarma was ready, the pager they provide you sets off a chirping beep. Total time it took from when I ordered to when I got my food was about 10 minutes. After making the 15-minute drive back home, I unwrapped this thing and was ready to judge how good this was. As you can see from the photo, the size of this thing is massive as it is roughly about a foot long. And after the first bite, I enjoyed the seasoned and tender pieces of grilled chicken as they definitely did not disappoint. This wrap also included lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and the signature sauce. The only reason for a deduction in the rating is that it was a little soggy which probably tastes a LOT better as soon as it is handed to you but nonetheless, it was above average. All in all, "812 Grill" was well worth the price and at $11.99 for a ton of food, you can't go wrong. The young man that took my order was polite while the truck was easy to identify, even from busy Watt Ave. With excellent tasting food, reasonable prices, above average service, and generous hours of operation, I am giving 812 Grill a respectable four star rating.

I do have one suggestion. I completely understand and appreciate the elevated vibe they're going for--it's part of what makes the place special. That said, I think there may be a bit of a missed opportunity with the bocce ball courts. There are large signs saying kids can't play on them and must stay with adults, but honestly, I come here at least once a quarter and they're often not being used. Given the location and the number of families in the area, it could be interesting to consider adding a small playground in the back. I know that might sound unconventional for a place like this, but I've seen restaurants do this successfully in Europe. What's really missing around here is a place where parents can enjoy an incredible meal and drinks while their kids have a safe place to play nearby. Right now, the only places that come close are breweries. There are almost always families here when I visit, so just a thought! Either way, Shangri-La remains one of my favorite spots.
