I ordered online through Fire Wings' website and received a text that my food was ready two hours later (understandable given the Super Bowl rush). When I arrived, it was a disaster. Dozens of frustrated customers, no communication from staff, and complete chaos. Employees did not provide updates on orders and even refused refunds for food they couldn't fulfill. One customer even grabbed an order that was not his and left after arguing with the employees who refused to communicate with him. Despite marking my order as "ready," they told me I'd have to wait another hour. When I asked for a refund, I was told I couldn't get one and should dispute it with my credit card instead--completely unacceptable. The manager and staff refused to provide the manager's name and were visibly overwhelmed. It was clear they didn't plan properly for a busy event, and instead of problem-solving and handling the situation professionally, they took their frustration out on customers. Absolutely unacceptable service. If you can't handle high-demand days, at least be honest with customers instead of misleading them and taking their money. Burnt Food, Rude Manager, and a Complete Waste of Money I came in because I genuinely love Fire Wings nashville tenders and fry bowl. I've had them multiple times at other locations and they've always been delicious. But this experience? Absolutely unacceptable. The food I received was burnt. the seasoning was jet black and the entire thing tasted like it had been dredged in the bottom of an old oil fryer. It was inedible and looked nothing like what I've gotten in the past. The fry bowl? Ruined. The tenders? Charcoal. When I approached the manager to ask for a refund, he told me I "should've known how it was going to taste." Excuse me? Since when is burnt food the expectation? He refused to refund me and when I asked for a different flavor he flat out told me no. We literally just stood there staring at each other because I was in disbelief...he was really trying to convince me that this was normal. The only option he eventually allowed was to remake it with "less sauce," but even then, it still tasted like burnt grease and regret. Honestly, it felt like they just reused the same scorched oil and hoped I wouldn't notice. this location has terrible food quality, zero accountability, and customer service that borders on disrespectful. I love Fire Wings and I love this location. I've ordered from here a bunch of times and have had very few problems. One time they mixed up my order with someone else's but they just threw in a few extras in my bag and it was all good. I put in a big order on Super Bowl Sunday and everything was great. I always have to wonder about the miserable people who put one star reviews on fast food places like this. Are they so miserable that their only joy in life is to leave a negative review for some perceived slight they may have experienced? Look at it like this we have seven different fire wings in Sacramento and Roseville area all together. I just hate that every single one will give only one sauce for all the wings and fries that we have, it's the most stupidest thing ever. Wingstop would never! I need to file a petition to corporate to where we can atleast get 2 sauces per 10 wings with a side of fries.. I ordered only a 5 piece peanut butter which omg is my favorite...but these were over cooked... grease tasted rancid and old. The sauce was disgusting...those were the worst tasting wings I have ever had. I also ordered the garlic fries. When fresh are amazing...but not this location. The fries were hard...soaked in a pool of grease...no garlic flavor at all and again tasted rancid. Holy Spirit warned me not to go...but I decided to come anyways...He was right...I barely made it home before being sick. I almost did not make it to the bathroom. The place was dirty...kids eating pizza in the place... workers friends all hanging out. What a terrible experience. I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN. We love this place. Check out my review for Natomas!! This is our favorite wing spot. They have really taken over. We order the three way .. bbq for me lemon pepper for him and we share teriyaki!! Plus they are not cheap with the sauce!! I swear some sauce cost more than a wing!! They have a cool set up definitely catering to millennials but even if your not go try it. So, this place has really gone down the tubes. Today I ordered boneless wings and I truly believe I was handed chicken nuggets dipped in sauce. They were dry rub and not even crispy. Oh, and one favor was wrong. About a week ago I tried to order, and the lady was directly behind the register, I was just in front of it. She was facing me so I know she saw me. She ignored me for - I kid you not - 5 minutes talking to someone else in another language? I didn't order at this time. The time before this I went (told you I love wings), they got my order completely wrong and I realized after driving home. DO NOT go to this location!!!! Go to the Sunrise one!!! I am currently on a 30 minute wait for my order of a large Nashville tenders fries and 16 boneless wings and it's not even busy in here. This is CRAZY. There seems to be no management of these kids working here. THE FOOD: Nashville tender fries were very good BUT SMALL if this is a so called large (see my picture), cold and I only live 1 block away. They were prolly cold because I was waiting 30 MINUTES. The boneless wings were smaller than usual and HARD, way over cooked. I live a block away but I will drive farther to go to Kiki's Chicken or the other Fire Wings on Sunrise. This place is new to Antelope but I've been at the Sunrise location several times. Thought I'd finally go check it out, inside is not as large as the other location but has seating outside as well. I got the Cali, and Chipotle BBQ. Their customer service was really great, very friendly and attentive. Food was good, actually less greasy than the other place but did not have onions and pepper vegetables thrown on top which I really liked. First timer here! I have never had Fire Wings before. I'm pleasantly surprised. This place is very similar to Wing Stop but with an Asian twist. Fusion flavors including Peking which taste just like the sweet and sour chicken you would order from a Chinese restaurant. Not bad, actually pretty good but I felt like I should be eating it with a side of rice and chow mein. I also tried the lemon pepper which was good, and the Malaysian curry. The Malaysian curry was a bit salty and not too much curry flavoring. I was very satisfied with all the different sides they offer. I ordered the garlic noodles and garlic fries. Both was delicious.
