SBC - Coffee Blonde

This was the second time going. The first time was 217 burger week and the Cajun burger was good. It had perfectly cooked and seasoned shrimp and andouille sausage. The burger was suppose to be medium but it was closer to well done. Overall it was a great experience. My wife had the chicken bacon ranch wrap and loved it. The fries were fresh out of the fryer. This time we started w jalapeño popper dip which was awesome especially w the combo of toasted bread and chips. I ordered the shrimp po'boy which again the shrimp were great but there weren't enough. There were 5 shrimp and a giant bun and not enough of the suace. My wife ordered the Buffalo chicken pizza which was good but would have been better with the thicker crust. There were only 4 beers on tap which sucked but I get things happen to equipment. Our service was slower but our waitress had a lot of tables. The place looks great and there were a lot of people there.

Can't understand how this place has such a bad rating, I always have a great experience here.

If you're staying at the Ramada or other nearby hotel in Forsyth/Decatur, this venue offers…read moredecently priced drinks, great space, attentive staff, and...underwhelming food. I completely agree with Yelper Al D.'s 'meh' description of their food. I literally |do|not|understand| how my build-your-own (extra cheese, jalapeños, sausage) had NO flavor. I doused it in red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese they brought to the table and still nothing. My wings were fried and tossed in buffalo sauce and served with blue cheese. From the picture I added to Yelp, you'd think they were pretty solid...but my taste buds were equally dismissive. And I also agree with Yelper Angela S. I tried hopping tables to find one that wasn't wobbly before I gave up and stuffed some napkins under one of the legs. As I lifted my head I noticed how many nearby tables had attempted the same thing. IMHO, if you're looking for a venue to watch a game, have a cold, yeasty beverage with friends, and snacks, Draft Sports Bar & Grill will suffice. If you're looking for anything else, best keep driving.

We had a good time here and would love to try it again…read more Reason for 3 stars is that tables were wobbly (we moved 3 times). Biggest disappointment was that the fries were lukewarm and soggy. They were clearly not fried long enough or temp up correctly. They were also out of the sliced beef tenderloin sandwich, something we came to try. Lots of TVs and seating, large bar area with gaming stations and cool bathroom sinks. They have horseshoes and lots of other good items on the menu that I'd like to come back to and give them another chance to increase their stars.

Ambiance: nice sports bar. Plenty of big TVs. Zero complaints. (4/5)…read more Service: great. Very friendly and helpful. Was checked on periodically which was nice. (5/5) Food: had the wings. They were fine. Menu says house made ranch but it was ok. Didn't really taste like homemade / house made. Wings were good size. Got the garlic parm. Tasted like most other places. My complaint is that they tasted a little under cooked. There wasn't any pink but it was border line. Then tried the traditional "hotshots famous " wing sauce. But.. I got them "trashed". Which is double dipped and fried. I really wanted to like these but they just didn't taste like traditional buffalo sauce (franks hot sauce, butter and vinegar). But the biggest issue was the up-charge. The menu says for trashed, it's "$2 extra" but.... I was charge $2/wing! I hope mgmt fixes that. With all that said, I'd like to try again but maybe a burger next time.

We got "The woody burger": it features grilled cheese as the buns for each bun. We also got a frisco melt and the soft pretzels with cheese sauce. Generous liquor/bar selection and many food options. Though we came close to closing, our food was top notch, the chef was amazing. It is cash only but they have an atm inside. Table seating and bar/high stool table sitting. Overall a great atmosphere.
