SBC - Coffee Blonde

This was the second time going. The first time was 217 burger week and the Cajun burger was good. It had perfectly cooked and seasoned shrimp and andouille sausage. The burger was suppose to be medium but it was closer to well done. Overall it was a great experience. My wife had the chicken bacon ranch wrap and loved it. The fries were fresh out of the fryer. This time we started w jalapeño popper dip which was awesome especially w the combo of toasted bread and chips. I ordered the shrimp po'boy which again the shrimp were great but there weren't enough. There were 5 shrimp and a giant bun and not enough of the suace. My wife ordered the Buffalo chicken pizza which was good but would have been better with the thicker crust. There were only 4 beers on tap which sucked but I get things happen to equipment. Our service was slower but our waitress had a lot of tables. The place looks great and there were a lot of people there.

If you like average food and super slow service this is your place for lunch! Very disappointing.

Great food, service & atmosphere. The Chicken pizza with Parmesan sauce is amazing!! I wish we had this place closer to where we live.

Our burgers were good, plenty of waffle fries and sweet potato fries, but for not being very busy, the service sucked!

A mediocre attempt at Peel Wood Fired Pizza. Save yourself a trip, and treat yourself to a delicious meal made by the masters!

As a bar it appeared to be a neighborhood hangout and is probably pretty good. As a BBQ restaurant, not so good. The service was OK, she was fast and attentive. The sides (cole slaw and potato salad) were right out of food service tubs. The French fries were OK. But you come to a BBQ restaurant for what . . . BBQ. The Brisket was probably cooked days ago and kept in the refrig. The waitress said that they slice it and throw it on the flat top to heat it up. Yea, it also dries it out and gives it a hard crust. The smoke ring and taste was OK, you just had to drown it in sauce to soften it up. My wife had smoked turkey and it was exactly the same, good smoke ring, interesting taste, but dry and hard from the flat top. The only thing interesting was the sausage made out of burnt ends that was really good after I fished it out from under all the cheese sauce the drowned it with. Who puts cheese sauce on smoked sausage? Ball park franks maybe, not smoked sausage! The only reason for even two stars was the service and the sausage.

Basic little casual and simple sports bar. It doesn't look like much and maybe it's not much but…read moreit's something for those just wanting to drink and eat a bit while watching a game. The Draft is one of the typical kind of bars in Decatur, greasy and lots of TVs. People crowded around the bar in the middle. The prices are kind of high for this kind of thing it seems. After being about ready to leave town, we stopped at this bar. It's on the far north side close to the interstate. This place didn't look like much when pulling up on it, but we still went in though. It's not big. There's a bar in the middle. Lots of TVs played various games. We got the cheapest beers and something to eat as well. It was $6 for beer on draft. This was kind of a lot for something like Miller Lite. As for the food, it was about as good as expected. We got the Bavarian Pretzel Sticks. It's $9 for a few. These were probably frozen but still were okay for the most part. Getting here while traveling through is pretty easy, as it's close to the exit off the interstate. It's about as good as you can expect for a local kind of place. The beer selection is limited and there's not that much interesting as far as food, just like pretzels and things.

I completely agree with Yelper Al D.'s 'meh' description of their food. I literally |do|not|understand| how my build-your-own (extra cheese, jalapeños, sausage) had NO flavor. I doused it in red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese they brought to the table and still nothing. My wings were fried and tossed in buffalo sauce and served with blue cheese. From the picture I added to Yelp, you'd think they were pretty solid...but my taste buds were equally dismissive. And I also agree with Yelper Angela S. I tried hopping tables to find one that wasn't wobbly before I gave up and stuffed some napkins under one of the legs. As I lifted my head I noticed how many nearby tables had attempted the same thing. IMHO, if you're looking for a venue to watch a game, have a cold, yeasty beverage with friends, and snacks, Draft Sports Bar & Grill will suffice. If you're looking for anything else, best keep driving.
