Pot stickers

I had an appetizer dinner here, and it was pretty good. I got the soup, pot stickers and veggie roll. I didn't see an option to choose fried or steamed, they came fried. The veggies rolls were a bit small, but overall everything was reasonably good.

Green Curry

Honestly one of the best thai curries I've had. The green curry doesn't hold back on the spice but is still very creamy from the coconut curry. It's also packed with veggies and meat so it feels worth the price.

Calamari

Very tasty Thai! First, the calamari appetizer was delicious! Tasted super freshly fried. The breading was perfectly crisp and thin. Some of the best I've had. The pad Thai was also very yummy and really flavorful. The noodles were good. Portion sizes were huge in my opinion. On to the real talk.... The seafood tasted a bit over cooked so I didn't eat much of it which is sad cuz I love some seafood. I'd recommend sticking to the meat. Overall good! The restaurant was very clean and staff was friendly. Parking is really good too.

Great food, great atmosphere! Server was also super friendly & fun! Highly recommend! Also the drinks were a decent price & the smoked old fashioned was delicious.

Placed a to go order for chicken pad Thai and seafood dumplings. In the seafood dumplings I found pieces of short black hair in the food and in the sauce.

We Vacation in the eastern panhandle several times a year and were looking for a new place to…read moreenjoy. We researched a bit and saw that Snallygasters was nearby had good reviews and the food pics looked good so we checked it out. Atmosphere was cozy with interesting decor and a lively crowd of customers in almost a full house as this was Sunday night. It took a little time to be seated and have our order placed but again they were busy so when our Waitress Piper came she was more than accommodating, super friendly and kind to us which made it all good. She guided us through the specials and since we were new to the restaurant steered is to some good choices. Our meals arrived hot fresh and delectable as this was fine cuisine and not your ordinary restaurant fare. We had a shrimp and chorizo dish and also a chicken and vegetable dish which both looked amazing and tasted even better. We were very pleasantly surprised and devoured both our entrees!! Lol! We even ordered dessert to go as we saw another table served a huge piece of ny cheesecake and being native New Yorkers on vacation we thought how appropo as we'll bring it to our room and enjoy as it was getting near there closing time (9pm.) We will definitely be back after enjoying so thoroughly our first picks as we are intrigued to see how the other dishes are. Our only small complaint would be the dessert we brought back to the room was a very small tiny slice and not like the one we saw in the restaurant being served to the table behind us and for ten bucks we were disappointed at its size even though it tasted great. Our waitress Piper made our evening enjoyable being so helpful and nice and we really appreciate that as the server can make or break your meal. Last thought many dogs allowed in restaurant. ( 3 at the time of our dinner.) We love dogs and we're petting the one nearest to us as it kept walking over to my wife as she was seated awaiting our order however it was inconvenient navigating the dining floor with so many pets about and eating with them in such close proximity was a turn off I will not lie and these were not service animals. Over all we really enjoyed Snallygasters as the service of Piper was great and the cusine superb and the atmosphere lively and clean. A bigger piece of dessert and more restrained pets would be an improvement in our opinion. Still all in all we give five stars and highly recommend. We will be back soon.

My husband was impressed by the size of his serving of brussel sprouts and I was surprised by the size and color presentation on my brie plate: crusty bread, green grapes, red apply slices, dark brown nuts, orange dried apricots, and of course, baked brie cheese. Each of the four of us ordered different lattes too - half of the fun with that is reading over the options Snallygasters offers.

TIP: limited parking in front of the facility & it sits on a corner of a highly traveled main road. Go past the winery, (right side; right lane) and take a right at its corner; take another right onto E Maple, the next street. From there, on the right is a graveled path. That's their area for patrons to park. Approx 8 cars can fit on left side of the path. No Food. Just cheese, crackers, and BlackOut pretzels.

Once I learned where we were going I was sooooooo excited!! Anyhoo- about an hour and a half away- we ventured here on a sunny Saturday afternoon. I really don't like going out on Valentine's Day. Everything's usually overpriced and restaurants are crazy busy...I honestly prefer just to stay at home but my hunnie had other plans for us hahaha! Despite the snow that's still lingering, turned out to be a perfect day for a winery adventure. Beautiful scenic views of the mountains, a playlist of Teena Marie, Sade and auntie Nita was definitely giving amazing vibes...the company of my Superman...just a perfect day! We had a reservation which is recommended. Our reservation was in the heated tent, outside area where they had live entertainment and he was pretty good! Sang a variety of selections. What I didn't like was there was no wait staff. I guess EARLY Mountain spoiled me! Hahaaaa!! I was expecting the same kind of experience here- but nonetheless we had to place our orders at the bar & pretty much wait on ourselves lol Typically-I was told they offered cheese and fruit plates- but today they didn't....:/( They did have a selection of cheese, crackers, olives if you wanted to create a board of your own... They also have a cigar area and offered cigars if that's your jam... Also noted in some areas they allow for you to bring your pets... On to the flights- wanted to try a few before deciding on a bottle so I went with the dry white option and my boo thang opted for the sweet options. The flights include a selection of 3 wines for $22...I was ok with just my 3 and my love actually enjoyed the port dessert wine which was the third tasting on his flight so I purchased a bottle for him. Appreciated the pizza Big Cork offered. We shared a pizza and ordered some fries from the food truck that was on the grounds. Would I venture back here NOPE! But I'm glad I can finally check this one off my list. Happy Valentine's Day!
