When it was obvious that the old flooring couldn't be salvaged, he found replacement wood that matched the original. He carefully measured and added material to level the floor, then installed beautiful new flooring. We also asked him to refinish the table. He scraped off the old finish, sanded, and finished with food-safe tung oil, creating a beautiful soft sheen. He was prompt, efficient, and reasonably priced for a high quality job.

We had over 2000 square feet of white oak flooring installed in our entire house. Although there…read morewere many problems from the beginning, we understand that flooring is a living thing, and we accepted the issues. We would never use this business again! The finish in the kitchen and part of the dining has unacceptable issues. This has been a problem since day one. There is dark staining coming through the wood on the seams. The finish is uneven and the floor stains when anything touches it. It just seems like the floor has no protection at all. The rest of the house does not have this issue. We have sent Mike pictures, asked him to come... which he has done... but 2.5 years later he has done nothing to resolve the problem. We have called and called. In our last conversation, we told him his behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional 2.5 years was too long to wait! He told me "We are too far out of the way and inconvenient...that I would just have to wait a little longer. Funny, he didn't feel that when he took the job. Sadly, he has mistaken our kindness and patience for weakness. Therefore, we are left with little choice but to let future customers know that this business DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK and begin a social media campaign to get this word out. I would NEVER use this business and absolutely do not recommend them. We purchased carpeting from Fosters Flooring in Staatsburg. They were much better, responsive, and professional. He said: we take pictures before so we know where the large furniture goes back too. He said: they would bag off the kitchen with plastic as all the furniture would go into the kitchen. We gave Chris the key to the house as we would be away for the Thanksgiving week. He sent pictures with the progress and we felt good about all that. We Venmoed the entire amount out of trust. When we got home we were shocked to find only the piano, 2 small couches and dinning room tables were put back. Oh and semi gloss not Satin finish that we agreed upon. Chris said: oh well we can come back for free to fix that when you move. What? I called Chris immediately to find out why everything wasn't put back ? Chris said: That would be a curtsey call. WHAT ? We should've only sent 1/2 the money up front as We never received a call of any kind back. Our mistake in believing the best from a "reputable company" We expected some amount of dust and we've been cleaning up dust for a week now, still finding more, in the closets, on our clothes, dishes in the cabinets you name it and we dusted/vacuumed it. 4.5 stars on the actual floors, follow up on clean up 1/2 a star.
