With the last rain we had a month ago when the wind was blowing hard, we developed a leak. I called Tim at Peninsula Roofing and told him of the problem and he sent a guy out to check it out. The inspector said that he thought it was due to a problem with the original installation done 12 years ago that just now showed up due to the windy condition. A week later they came out and repaired the roof by installing new flashing and some new shingles. With NO CHARGE to us. Imagine after 12 years there was no charge. I want to give them a shout our for excellent customer service.

He listened carefully and submitted a bid that included everything we had discussed and was fairly priced. The crew showed up exactly on time on the arranged day and worked steadily all day to strip the roof and make repairs. They arrived exactly on time on the next day and worked steadily all day to install the new roof. They worked without playing loud music or shouting at each other, and they cleaned up before they left. We are entirely satisfied and think no one could ask for better service! Our neighbors even commented on how quickly and efficiently the crew worked. Susan and Chris Seykota-Smith

5 Stars - Outstanding Experience from Start to Finish! From…read morethe initial inspection to the final cleanup, my experience with this roofing company was exceptional. The entire process reflected professionalism, expertise, transparency, and an impressive commitment to customer satisfaction. The experience began with a comprehensive inspection of both the roof and attic, complete with photographs, videos, and a detailed report explaining the findings. Rather than pushing for an immediate roof replacement, Justin walked me through the options for repair versus full replacement, explaining the advantages, considerations, and costs associated with each. Once I made the decision, he helped me choose shingle quality and materials while clearly explaining warranty coverage and what to expect throughout the project. His communication was responsive, transparent, and consistently professional. The roofing crew was equally great. From moving furniture and plants on my deck to removing the existing roof, installing the new roof, and final cleanup, Stephan and his team demonstrated efficiency, attention to detail, and respect for my property. The cleanup was meticulous. What truly set this experience apart from my other home improvement projects was the exceptional communication and a genuine commitment to doing the job right. Stephan and the entire team exceeded my expectations at every stage. I could not be more pleased with the finished roof or the overall experience. I recommend this company to anyone seeking quality roofing work, reasonable prices, communication, and a team that delivers on its promises.

I am writing to express our disappointment with how our property was treated during the recent…read moreroofing project Cloise and Mike Construction, Inc. provided. While the roof itself appears to be well done, the condition in which our property was treated and left is unacceptable. During the course of the work, your crew drove over shrubbery in our backyard in order to fit vehicles, smashing them flat and causing damage to the established landscaping. They also cut limbs from a tree we planted years ago as a memorial, leaving it disfigured. At no point were we asked for permission to cut any limbs or shrubs, nor were we informed that this had been done--we discovered the damage on our own afterward. The limbs were not properly removed but instead discarded onto other vegetation, leaving us to clean up the debris. Additionally, plants were cut back to accommodate vehicles in the rear driveway, and several bushes were run over and flattened. Old plywood removed from the roof was thrown onto our deck, landing on outdoor furniture. Crew members also walked through and stood in garden areas, trampling new spring bulbs. We were particularly surprised to find that a log had been dragged out of the forest and onto our lawn for use as a seat during break time, and then left there for us to remove. We understand that roofing can be a messy job with missed nails on the ground or some debris that had blown into bushes etc., but we chose to work with a small, local business in hopes of receiving more care and respect for our home and property. Unfortunately, this experience has not reflected that expectation.

I had not planned…read moreto put a roof on my house for another five years, but I was so impressed with his work and his professionalism, that I decided to have the whole house done as well. I have a classic old, brick Tudor house with a steep roof, and as you can see in the photo he did an excellent job! He was true to his word on the schedule and price. He paid attention to details, even painting some roof vents to match the color of the shingles and when he was finished, he cleaned up so well that you couldn't even tell he'd been here. Today, about eight months later, I discovered some rain water leaking down through the ventilation fan over my kitchen stove. I called Scott and he was here within the hour. Turns out, it was the roof vent had a rivet joint that failed, which was nothing to do with the new roof that he installed. He still fixed the leak for me at no charge. Hiring contractors is always a gamble and I've run across some bad ones, but Scott is definitely one of the good guys. In addition to his professionalism, he's a friendly, calm, and pleasant guy. You can rest assured he'll do a good job for you. I highly recommend him.
