ive never been so disappointed/ agitated in a nail salon in my life. i came in for a gel manicure and needed my old gel removed-- however, the lady started removing my gel and instead of letting my nails soak in alcohol she started peeling my nail polish off with her hands. exactly what any manicurists will tell you NOT to do. i ended up getting a glitter color because i was too scared my nails would be weak with just a regular color. 10/10 NOT RECOMMEND. read more

This place was great! One of the best I've found in the Lodi/Stockton area. I had checked on Yelp for local places with good reviews and came across this one. It only had a few reviews but all positive- I was slightly skeptical but after all was not disappointed. I got a pedicure from Janelle, she did a wonderful job. The entire process didn't feel rushed, like she was trying to hurry and get to the next customer, she took her time and gave me a great leg massage. This was it's my first time here. I called a couple of days ahead of time I made an appointment. I was a little early and they got me right in. Ben and Amy were amazing. Ben give me the best pedicure I have ever had, it was not rushed and the massage was so relaxing. Amy took her time also and there were no wrinkles or flaws in my shellac. Honestly I think it's pricey, but I think it's worth it. My nails are always on point! I'm super picky but they do a good job here & I'm usually always happy with my nails. Pedis are good too. My go toos are Tee & Lana . But usually Lana unless she's not there I see Tee. I finally found my gal !! read more

** zero stars** HORRIBLE SERVICE! I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN! When I go get my nails done I like to relax, and everytime I've gone here it's always the employees constantly talking back and fourth in their language. Its never decently quiet in there. Also my most recent experience has led me to not go back there again. Long story short I had gel done to my finger nails, and left for my birthday vacation. During the second day, I noticed the gel rising from my cuticles and progressively starting lifting and snagging on my clothes and when I touched my hair. Less than a week this was happening, and I called and spoke to someone explaining what had happened and they made an appointment and we're super nice to have me come back to fix it. When I got there it was a different story and had 4 different women analyze my nails. Again speaking in their language not speaking to me, I was growing irritated to not know what i was being looked at so much. I was told they were not going to redo my nails, or refund me bc it's not their fault the sun is making my nails grow faster and that it's normal. She talked to me like I was a child, and kept repeating herself that in the summer time nails grow faster and that my nails growing is out of their control. I couldn't believe her stupid response and I told her I've had gel last me 3-4 weeks and this has never happened and she told me I should go there since they obviously made me happy. I was so upset and mad I had to hold back the things I really wanted to say. So with all of that being said I don't recommend them! read more

i will not be returning. i haven't had a problem here until my last visit. the lady who was working on me was very rough and demanding. made me feel uncomfortable. my sister and i went in to get a full set. after asking what shape we wanted they proceeded and i really liked the half moon shape on my fingers and the nail lady said "i have to charge if you want that shape" and i said "we'll then you should be charging her (referring to my sister) extra for the shape she asked for and the nail lady said "oh she is, her nail is $32" (we we're quoted at $29) NO ONE mentioned the change in price after selecting our shape. i immediately asked to speak to the manager and then the manager was frustrated with us too... when HER employees failed to mention anything about a up-charge. my favorite part was we were demanded to pay on the spot because they were afraid we were going to walk out (that's not in our character, however their work was so awful we should have). my nails after different shapes, clumpy and i was just so fed up i wanted to leave. poor customer service and communication skills, cheap work and cheap work ethic. will not be coming back read more

I've been going to Finishing Touch on and off for the last 5+ years. And I've always been blown away and completely happy with the services and product outcomes for the prices! This was my first time coming to the new location, so I had a different nail lady.. They all were very responsive when I walked in there, it was very clean and sanitary. The environment was very relaxed and welcoming!!. I must say that was one of the best pedicures I've ever received by Kathy!!! She was great, took her time, the massage was amazing! And she didn't over use the lotion!! She wasn't rough, she never cut me or broke skin. She's very gentle and made sure I was as comfortable as I possibly could be while getting serviced. I have nothing but good things to say about this place, I'm never disappointed!! Not to mention there are a lot of color selections!! I'll be going this weekend with my daughter for our nails. :) read more

This place has some of the rudest employees I have ever met. I was in the other day and the gal sat me down and was friendly at first. I was having a gel color change. She was filing my nails, when I asked her if she could file my thumb nail more. She said very rudely no I can't I will have to charge you $3 to cut them. I explained to her I have been coming here for years and asked if this was a new policy. She grabbed my hand and said it again and then started vigorously filing and being very rough and doing a horrible job. I then told her that the gal that always does my nails has never charged. So if this is something new I'd like to know. She began talking in their language and wouldn't answer me. She looked at me and said "Well do you want her to do them for you then?!" So rude!!! I would have liked to have walked out right there! I was absolutely appalled! Does she have NO IDEA WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS??!! I have had issues before with the owner being so incredibly rude and treating her employees so awful. I can not give my business to these people when they act like this. Treat people with respect!! There are others in here who are great but the fact that the owner and this gal acted and act the way they do is just awful! I do NOT recommend this place of business. I am referring to the one in the Lowes parking lot as she owns two nail shops! read more
