After searching on yelp for a new nail shop, this place popped up so I thought I'd try it! I called first and a gentlemen told me to come in 10 minutes. The odd thing about this place is when they sat me for a pedicure, I was sitting there for about 7 minutes and they didn't soak my feet, she started my pedicure on dry feet, this has never happened to me before, anyway the pedicure was bomb! I got my full set from puna and from this point on I am only going to her! She took a while but it's because she does nails flawlessly! I love my nail shape and design, she executed the photo I showed her perfectly! My new nail shop for sure! read more

This place is the worst !!! Do not waste your time here they are not professional and they do not listen to request ,we wanted to do acrylic nails without cutting the cuticle.... The owner assigned us another guy and he started to do the nails ..... he started to cut the cuticle and I told him we don't want that , he got upset and told the boss ( in a foreign language ) that he doesn't feel comfortable with me being there!!! ... they are not professional , .... There are way too many places where you can go ..... I am not going back there ... your lost I found a better place cha , la , ka , you are not the only place who can do nails . read more

ONLY BOOK WITH MINA!!!! I went in for a fill and I left the salon with black lines across my nails because they didn't file down enough. You can see where the fills starts and ends. I noticed this immediately and spoke to my nail tech. They said it is showing because I picked a light color. I get this French ombré all the time and I have never had this issue. There was no effort to fix the set or to offer a discount for future services. It's embarassing to walk around with nails like this! Whatever you do, only book with Mina! Excellent quality and service. You have to schedule ahead but it's worth it! read more

I have been going to MD Beyond Polish for over a year now since moving into the area. I get the gel builder for my short nails and either Danny or Mina have done my nails and they both do a great job. I appreciate that I can text to make an appointment for convenience. They also have a stamp rewards card which is nice. There's a nice ambience on the shop and usually some music or a show playing on TV to listen to. read more

Best salon experience of my life! Soo welcoming and giggly with their customers and very clean atmosphere and tools! Super comfy massage chairs. You can tell they put so much time and dedication into their work and their space. Id make it my forever nail salon if i didnt move for work so often but until i move this is THE SPOT!! any design, cat eye, chrome you name it they can do it. Love this place would give it 1000 stars if i could. They even fixed my "t rex claws" from a different salons work and cleaned my natural nails from underneath unffff it was just so nice thank you for fixing me up i cant wait to come back!! read more

MD Beyond Polish saved the day!! After having my long time salon refuse to let me switch nail techs I went to Yelp to find a new place. MD Beyond Polish came up in my search so I headed over to have a look. Super cute place with lots of photo ops. I walked in a little after 6pm and they were very accommodating to still take me in same day for an acrylic fill. D was my tech and he took the time to listen to what I wanted and fully understand what I was asking for. I am very pleased with my service and have made my next appointment already. read more

I get my nails done by Mina and she's the best! I've been going to her for some time and I never have a complaint. She's detailed with her work and takes her time to make sure you are satisfied. I always show her inspo pictures and she recreates it so well! She's absolutely talented and it shows in her work! The salon itself is decorated so cute! You truly feel pampered while you're there. I want a welcoming, comfortable, and inviting place with consistent quality work with fair prices. I FOUND my bucket list items here. I LOVE, LOVE, this place. I found them here on yelp and so thankful. I had the most amazing pedicure, great relaxing fill. They were on time, great inviting warm atmosphere. My tech Mina did a great job especially considering she was filling on top of someone's work. I'm very pleased. Shop wasn't overcrowded, very clean. I came here sometime in past years and have avoided it since. They were terrible back then. My nail lady moved out of town so I've been on Yelp looking everywhere and have tried over a handful of salons in Lodi. I saw that this place was posting saying there was new management so I decided to give it a second try. I'm so glad I did! Danny was very nice and I loved how he did my nails they came out perfect the design was simple and lovely and days later I'm still happy with my set. The BEST spot! My mother and niece came first and they came home with such beautiful nails that they inspired mommy other niece and I to go back to get our nails done the next day. There prices are legit! They don't try to add additional charges for stuff you don't even know you are paying for! The pedicure was THE BEST I have ever had, I got to pick out my scent for my sugar scrub and foot mask! Uh! It was amazing! They are all so pleasant and happy and friendly! The worse pedicure I've ever received. The lady that did them was very sweet but took an hour and half and did not massage my feet. Maybe 30 seconds a leg. When I complained the front desk lady seemed agitated with me. She said next time make an appointment and this was a scheduled appointment. I was very happy with my experience at MD Beyond Polish. I stopped in with my daughter for pedicures and was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and how pretty it was. Decorated with soft pinks and white and the staff were very friendly and nice. I wanted a design and they were able to match it exactly to the picture. My Go-To Nail Salon I've resided in the Valley for nearly a year (from the Bay) and have trust issues when it comes to "Beauty Experts". I used a lot of gas in search of a nail salon that knows what they're doing and really cares about my nails. I tried a few shops in Stockton... and just about gave up. But I needed my nails done badly so I Yelped again and again. And POW ! MD Beyond Polish (in LODI, MY PEOPLE!!!) saved me from just letting it all go. Mina and Danny (owners) run a quite pleasant operation. They open at 9am, offer water and tend to you immediately. The staff is really nice and the salon is clean. I started with Mina with GelX. This fairly new nail application that can be quite costly. I've seen LA salons starting price at $150!!! But not MD Beyond Polish. We're talking $60ish! And they are beautiful!!! I had them twice until my natural nails grew to a length that I needed. Then I changed to Gel Builder with Danny. And everyone loves them. Now you know we get particular about who does our nails. If they do a great job we stick to them. We don't switch up nail artists. But this time I did and am super happy I gave Danny an opportunity to show off his skill. He's very well versed in nail care. Even though GelX costs more than Gel Builder, Danny didn't try to upsell me on a product I didn't need or want. He promoted what was in my best interest. That is really important to me. I don't take pictures of my nails but you can check out their work on Yelp. Trust that you'll love Mina and Danny. Great Team! Great Salon! Great Service! read more

I feel bad having to leave this review because I really like the people here but I've had a nail break 3x after a new set only a few days later. I called to try and get it fixed with no call back and I've been getting my nails done for 17 years. I'm not hard on my nails and have never had so many break off so easily. I've had to replace 2 just recently on anew set so unfortunately I have to say I don't recommend as the quality of work is not consistent. I've given them a few months with the benefit of doubt but no improvement with breakage. read more

So... I have not gone to get a gel manicure since April 2017 and have been gun shy because I unfortunately got a nail fungus from a different local salon. I finally got the courage to get a gel manicure from a salon in the Bay Area and explained how I was not sure I wanted to do it. Loved the way they did it. But knew I had to find a place local that had the same cleanly sterile standards as the place in the bay. I went to a location in Stockton, and they didn't do the nails the way and shape I specified so I was disappointed... Not all nail salons are created equally... I tried this place. Beyond Polish is beyond great! The owners are a husband and wife team both amazing on their own. I had my nails done with Gel X for my wedding. They were so beautiful and lasted well beyond my honeymoon. This business was a one stop shop. I got my nail, toes, leg waxing, face waxed and eye lash extension. Place is everything! Vivian does an amazing job on my nails every time. The time and perfectionist effort she puts into her clients is amazing. You'll never be unsatisfied with her or any of the artist in the salon. If you want stellar service and killer nails, than expect to pay more than $50. Even though I have oily skin it doesn't take too much of a bad product to make the skin peel off of my face like a sunburn. But after seeing all of the 5 star reviews I decided to make an appointment with Lauren, almost four weeks ago now. It was a little more than I wanted to spend but I was SO HAPPY I did! The whole experience was fabulous. Her room was comfortable and clean. She used only organic products that smelled fantastic. She was gentle yet thorough as she was applying and removing the various products to/from my face. And in between the multiple processes, while my face was absorbing the natural goodness of the products and steam, she massaged my calves and feet and then arms and hands. I had no idea that came with the facial. Bonus! All while cocooned in warm fluffy blankets. I stayed awake through the whole thing because of the excitement of what was to come. I loved every minute of it and my face never peeled, just smooth tighter skin. And before I left, I scheduled my next facial, which is in a couple of days. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've been a loyal customer of Perfect Balance Day Spa in Lodi for years and have regularly visited with my mother for occasions like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, birthdays, and other special celebrations. Because of the positive experiences I've had in the past, I recently called a week before Mother's Day to schedule two "Slices of Heaven" services so my mother and I could treat each other for the holiday. Unfortunately, this particular experience was very disappointing. After confirming my appointment for a specific day and time, I received a call asking if I could move the appointment to 3:30 PM. I was understanding and accommodated the change without issue. Shortly after, I received another call informing me that if they were to keep the appointment, the "Oasis" portion of the service would only be provided for approximately 30 minutes instead of the full advertised hour. I politely asked whether there could be a price adjustment since the full service would not be rendered, but I was told, "Yeah, no." The receptionist, Kayla, made it seem as though she had already checked with a higher-up regarding the matter. She was polite throughout the interaction and even acknowledged that she understood my frustration and agreed that the situation did not seem right. Because of that, this review is not necessarily a reflection of Kayla personally, but rather of the management decision and lack of accommodation from whoever she had to answer to, whether that was a supervisor or the owner. I also asked whether another day could be arranged instead, but the communication felt hesitant and delayed, which ultimately led me to cancel the appointment altogether and make arrangements with Appellation aka Wine and Roses. It's unfortunate because I have genuinely supported and enjoyed this business for years. The 3 stars are for the quality of massages and prior customer service experiences I've received in the past. However, I deducted 2 stars due to the repeated scheduling changes, uncertainty, lack of accommodation, and unwillingness to provide a fair adjustment for a shortened service that could not be fully delivered as advertised. Very disappointing.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Beyond Polish. I was assigned to a technician who was clearly inexperienced and handled my pedicure roughly, leaving my toenails painfully uneven and cut far too short. It was so bad that another technician had to step in and redo the polish to try and salvage the situation. Even he admitted that it still looked messy because of how badly the nails were cut and polish got on my skin and unfortunately, they were too short to fix properly. The entire experience was uncomfortable and frustrating. I spent a significant amount of time waiting for the corrections, and ultimately, they ran out of time to complete the full service, meaning I missed out on the massage and any relaxing aspect of the appointment. To make matters worse, the original technician who messed up my pedicure stood nearby and watched as the second technician tried to fix his work, making the whole situation feel even more uncomfortable and awkward. When I brought this up with the owner, hoping they'd offer a meaningful resolution, I was told that they couldn't provide a refund because the technician had "spent time" working on me, as if my own time and discomfort didn't matter. Instead, they offered me a $10 discount or a free color change for my next visit, which doesn't begin to compensate for the time, money, and frustration I spent on such a poor experience. As a loyal customer since 2019, I expected to be treated with more respect and care, especially after such a botched service. If Beyond Polish continues to assign inexperienced technicians to loyal clients, they're bound to lose more business. This experience left me feeling undervalued and disappointed, and while I even tipped the technician out of courtesy, I left feeling far worse than when I walked in. read more

The locally famous makeup artist and blogger. No shade I love evette and faithfully watch her Channel and ig. She just has money and clout and that's what beyond polish is about. Took my fiancé for the last 3 times, since they were first open. Atmosphere wise we're great, good music and nice accommodation. Services was great, owner were very knowledgeable about products, trends and expectations. Salon were exceptional clean and medical grade Autoclave were on site for sterilization. The sign in the salon says a basic is $35. I asked about it and was told the prices weren't updated. No biggie. But then when I asked for gel on my pedicure the price jumped to $65. FOR A BASIC PEDICURE! No parafin wax, no hot stones, not even a callus removing balm. Just a quick clean up and paint. Then we get to the nails. I'm told I need to wait since the manicurist is having lunch. No biggie. But then I look over and see them having a full on buffet at the working tables. I am sent over to her station as there was no clean up at all from her lunch. The manicure itself was not good either. No nail soaking for cuticle removal or even cuticle removal at all. I show the lady a picture of a very basic French tip with a small line of glitter and she says she can do it for $60. Well once she starts she made my nails WAY TOO THICK. So I ask her to thin them so it won't look so gaudy. Then I noticed there were very noticeable gabs from where my nail starts in the cuticle to start of the dip powder. When I asked her to fix it she rolled her eyes at me and reluctantly did it. Then I look at my nails and notice the shape isnt what I asked for(square-round). When I tell her that she says "the picture looks like your nails" (sharp square) when I expressly told her I just wanted the same design not the same shape though. She was way too rough and at one point while filing the sides of my nails she did it so hard it broke skin and her reaction was to squeeze the hell out of my hand. It took nearly 4 hours for a pedicure and nails. Then to top it off, she goes to put a top coat before even adding the glitter and when I asked her she got mad and said "what glitter? There is no glitter in the photo." I then show it to her again for the 4th time and she says "oh. That will be $65 for the nails then." Like WTF? She didn't even do the nice little hand massage or cuticle oil or even lotion that 99% of places do after you get a full set. This place is a joke and so unprofessional. They try to reel you in by saying you get a "free drink" with services (wine, margarita, etc) but I wasn't even offered any. I had to ask for a water 2 hours into service since I'd been there so long. Spent $130 on subpar services. Never returning and if you care about cleanliness and quality service I suggest you go somewhere else.
