I'm very disappointed I just ordered online a pair of shoes Nike Air Max 270 and The sneakers are dirty and used. ‍ They don't even have the label and I pay for this $120 plus tax.

Dirty/used pair of shoes ordered online an was checked out of this finish line store. #disappointed

They had mentioned that the store on Sepulveda Blvd had them in. It was a 10 minute drive so decided to take my chances and check the drop out. While parking, I saw a line of about 10 people in front, so decided to get in line. While in line I can hear these guys talking out loud saying that they're just going for the biggest size. This is a highly sought after sneaker so didn't think the store representatives would just let someone ask for the biggest size. Boy was I wrong. I get it, the shops just want to sell the shoes and make their money, but each shop should have some rules for shoes that are highly sought after. Like not let people just ask for the biggest size. Have them write down or ask for 2-3 sizes, if they don't have the sizes, then they can move to the side and wait until the whole line is done before letting them just grab whatever pair they want. Also the guy in front of me got my size so I got super salty because he was one of the guys saying he's just asking for the biggest size. One of the representatives had stated that they had just sold the last pair of my size, so that really annoyed the crap out of me. These retail shops know what shoes are really sought after and which ones will probably sit for a while. I did like that they only allowed each customer one pair to purchase, either one men's or one GS pair. Not sure if someone can get in line once they make their first purchase but heck at least they had that rule. Unlike other shops that let people grab two to three pairs all at once. People will always show up and buy these type of sought after sneakers. I surely hope they read this review and make some changes for certain sneaker drops.

I recently visited both Road Runner and Fleet Feet while searching for new walking shoes, and the…read moredifference was striking. Fleet Feet was, quite literally, feet ahead of the competition. At Road Runner, a foot scan gave me useful insight into my foot structure and what to consider in a shoe. The technology was impressive, but the experience was less so: the store seemed understaffed, trying each shoe often meant another 5-10 minute wait, and when another associate stepped in, I had to repeat what I had already gone through. More importantly, when I asked to try a shoe outside the scan's recommendation, I was discouraged because it contradicted what the technology suggested and was told not to try it on. Data can inform a decision, but footwear is ultimately experienced by a person, not an algorithm. A scan should guide curiosity and judgment, not replace them. I eventually tried the Brooks Ghost 18, but Road Runner did not have the colorway I wanted, so I bought them elsewhere. After my first walk, they began cutting into my ankles, and my search started again. Then I went to Fleet Feet. From the beginning, John made the experience entirely different. He greeted me warmly, did a new foot scan, explained what the results meant, and, most importantly, listened. He combined the data with his own expertise and my actual feedback rather than treating the scan as an answer. And finding the right shoe was not easy. Because of the anatomy of my feet, I ended up trying nearly 15 different pairs. Through every one, John's patience never wavered. When a shoe caused discomfort, he listened, reassessed, and brought out another option. He never rushed me, never made me feel like I was taking up too much of his time, and never acted as though he simply wanted me to settle on something so he could make a sale. What made the experience exceptional was that John seemed just as invested in finding the right shoe as I was. There is a profound difference between helping someone buy something and genuinely helping them solve a problem. John understands that difference. Eventually, I found the ASICS Novablast 6, which felt like the best fit for my needs. Unfortunately, Fleet Feet could not get my preferred colorway in time for an upcoming trip, so I ultimately left without buying a pair that day. And that may be the strongest testament to John's character and customer service. After investing all that time in helping me, John never pressured me to buy another color or settle for another shoe just to make a sale. He cared about getting me the right shoe, not simply getting me to buy a shoe. That kind of service is rare. I have met plenty of people who are knowledgeable, and plenty who are friendly. It is much rarer to find someone who combines expertise, patience, attentiveness, and genuine care for the customer's outcome the way John did. Fleet Feet, you have an exceptional employee in John. A foot scan can provide data and a system can generate recommendations, but neither can replace someone who listens carefully, applies expertise, adapts when the obvious answer is not working, and stays committed until the customer has a real solution. John turned what had become an incredibly frustrating search into one of the best retail experiences I've had in a long time. Thank you, John. Your patience, expertise, and genuine commitment to helping me find the right fit did not go unnoticed. Fleet Feet is lucky to have you.

I knew fleet feet had a great supply and the ability to measure mama's sore feet. So, mama is a five time cancer survivor and warrior. Unfortunately she had a large mass on her toe which prevented her from being able to walk without a boot, which after months leads to body pain throughout. Her poor foot and ankle always hurt, and swelled up real bad. She had pain throughout her body from the imbalance and reliance on crutches. I didn't think we could find a pair of hokas that would fit, and even better actually heal her feet. Then we came in and met Dan, the kindest most knowledgeable specialist we could have hoped for. He was patient and supportive at every step, through mama's laser measurements- which are amazing and they email them to you if requested. Then he began the work, we tried 4 great recommendations but alas none fit, all too tight around the ankle. But Dan wasn't done, he looked at the measurements and put in an order for a men's size in extra wide trusting it would fit- and if they didn't we could exchange within 30days. Four days later, my mom put on her first pair of shoes that fit in over a year. Im in tears of thanksgiving. To see her walking in a new pair of hokas, with proper balance and arch support. She's so excited and we are forever grateful. Also, they didn't try to sell me the most expensive pair, they had an awesome shoe that was less than what I expected! Take your loved one's here, they deserve it.
