Five Stars based on the experience that we had with an employee named Lovely. She greeted us right away when we walked in. She was super customer service oriented and she answered all of the questions that we had about the shoes that we liked. When we tried on shoes, ahe made sure to ask us how they felt and even checked to see if the store had other sizes in stock. We also were greeted by another employee named Jackie, she was also great. I loved that she indicated that if the shoe size is not in stock, that they could order it and ship it to the store or our home; PERFECT sales service! She also asked us if we wanted to have a look at the apparel, which was great. We loved how positive her attitude was. Our whole experience was amazing and it is because of this professional team member. Note: One of the female store supervisors (in plain clothes no uniform) was a jumping up and down and dancing on a try-on seating bench in the front of the store, super unprofessional. Came here to get my boyfriend shoes for Christmas just last night and I was not impressed with the customer service. First off, when I arrived at the mall, I passed by here at 7:30 and the gate was already halfway down and one of the girl workers was standing by the gate... excuse me but it is the week of Christmas and the mall closes at 9 pm?? They should NOT be closing the gate by any means an hour and a half before closing... so, after going to a few stores, I go here, and by this time it is 8:15... the girl was still standing at the gate that was halfway down with still 45 minutes until closing... I approach her and say "can I come in? You still have 45 minutes until you close right?" and she seems very iffy about whether or not she should let me in... finally after about a minute of looking around and thinking about whether she wants to let me in she says I can "come on in"... like excuse me but AGAIN your gate should not be down this early before closing!!! So I get into the store, find the shoes I need quickly, and there is one worker at the register and ONE person on the floor getting shoe sizes for customers... so I'm standing there waiting and I am not acknowledged until about 5 minutes after clearly waiting at the back door to get a shoe size and being passed by this worker about 3 times... one thing I can say is that they did have sizes in all the shoes I was thinking about getting... I was just very frustrated because it is the week of Christmas, they should NOT be closing their gate halfway down an hour and a half before closing just because they don't want customers in there past closing-- SUCK IT UP, and that worker who was guarding the gate could have made herself useful on the floor by helping customers get shoe sizes instead of standing at the gate on her phone... if you close at 9, that gate should stay open until 9!!!! so unprofessional!!!! read more

I went In to exchange some shoes my father got for Christmas & I specifically told her all I needed was a different size. The shoes were NEVER worn. She told me she had to return them & I'd have to purchase them again. I told her it's fine although I didn't understand why she couldn't just even exchange them. Once she returned the shoes, she was charging me for the shoes again but WHY WAS SHE CHARGING ME $30 plus more for the same exact shoes when I had the receipt & the shoes were in great condition. Why couldn't she tell me I was going to have to pay more before doing the transaction. She was by far the worst manager & the worst customer service I have ever got. Mia should be fired! My family shops here for all of our sneakers. And I'm sure like most families, we notice there are a lot of sneaker stores in the mall. In other words, lots of options. So to me the difference is of course not only inventory, but customer service. Patrick has been so helpful to me every time we come in! He treats us like we aren't just customers, but friends. Bought ADIDAS Tennis shoes for my son and less that 2 weeks after tried to return them for a clear defect and store rep said they don't do exchanges of Shoes that have been used. I went to the Sports Illustrated website to cancel the subscription and they said I got the subscription after purchasing from Finish Line. How? Why? Bought shoes for my son a couple of months ago, and was happy that they offered a military discount. Stopped by again, and apparently the military discount didn't apply. A little confused. Regardless, the young adults working have poor customer service. Except for the tall gent that was very efficient with getting shoes. The supervisor, David Scott I believe, seemed too concerned about being cool and hip. He displayed the poorest customer service from any supervisor to date. His unprofessionalism wasn't because he was having a bad day, but it was clear that this was his modus operandi. Good luck with that prospective customers. Perhaps you can get away with that sub par attitude when most of your customers are under 20 years old. read more

I bought a pair of Air Jordans online since they didn't have my size in stock. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen, first when they try to sell you the shoes, they come up with their sales talk about buying air insoles and giving their reason on why you need it. Second they will add that Sports Illustrated magazine subscription with your purchase by saying its just a free trial period you can cancel anytime, but if you read the fine print though, the subscription is automatically issued and your credit card is charged even before you call to cancel. Third, when trying to make a return on the Jordan's I got online, they inspect the shoes like your some type of criminal and they can right out flatly say we can't accept the shoes even though it was in perfectly good condition, in the original box and all receipts were included within the time period. No store credit and no refund, the managers have the discretion to deny any return even for unworn merchandise. That's like saying we will accept returns but we won't accept it, if we don't feel like it, is contradicting their policy. I want to call out this Plaza Bonita store and the person I spoke to Richard, was condescending and didn't want to accept the return and when i asked for the manager, he blatantly said "I am the Manager" and when I asked for the store manager, Richard said "She won't be in until 3, but I'm pretty sure she will also say No, to the return as well". That really upset me and when I said to Richard, I will call Finish Line's Corporate Office, he just said "Sorry, I can't accept the return and shrugged." Finish Line's Corporate Customer Service was helpful, they emailed me a free shipping label and said they will gladly accept my return, no questions asked within a few minutes after my call. I returned and told Richard, that he needs to get on par with the store manager and allow returns if Finish Line Corporate allows it. Richard just said "Your lucky, good for you that they will accept the return" What terrible customer service from a "manager". Richard should not be a manager because his customer service has that "it's not my problem, blame the store policy, i can't do nothing about it and won't bother to help you" attitude, he could have at least referred me to Finish Line directly but he didn't, I had to do that on my own. Their customer service stinks. Other shoe stores have better return policies. read more
