ThDude, my wife just got new racks on her car and the whole system failed and flew off with our best boards!!!! I messaged the guys and they were quick to help me find something, new even at a fair price!!! I've never had a new board but for the price they gave me stoked Thanks again for always getting me back on the water!!

exploded Isle board

My Megaladon board from Isle exploded after only a handful of uses but because it was past the two year warranty they only offered a 20 percent discount on buying another one. A two year warranty is a joke for a $1000 board purchase. Then to only offer 20 percent discount is an insult.

For years I wavered about trying SUP. In my fleet of kayaks, canoes, dinghies, and sailboats, could I possibly need one more way to paddle across the bay? Apparently so, . After doing quite of bit of homework, I decided to stop by the Isle paddle board store and check them out. The staff understood all aspects of paddling and could help me relate which board worked best for me. Once I was 75% convinced, they showed me new inventory, used inventory, and all the sales and promotions running. With zero pressure, I ended up with the Isle explorer board with everything I needed to get on the water that afternoon. I even upgraded to a 12v pump making it simple to get the board to 15psi as the pump shut off perfectly while I ready'd my gear. The board is light and maneuvers well. The paddle fully adjustable and I quickly felt at home paddling the San Diego back bay. If you have any doubt about a large purchase, stop by the store and quiz the staff as they understand all aspects of the sport.

Recently purchased our two iSUPs, the explorer and the sportsman. We couldn't wait to take them out on the water. We've already been out twice since we purchased them and plan on going out again sometime this week. Bart helped us put a lot. He was very knowledgeable about the boards which made picking our iSUPs a breeze. We made Isle our top choice not only because they are San Diego based but because they stand behind their products and offer great deals.

We have come here a couple times .and it's been a 1 years or so .we don't live in the area. we are from the Bay Area but the customer service is awesome Jake and his team are very helpful even if you want to just browse and take a look at everything. they are very patient an don't rush you .they make you feel very welcomed .we had gone to another surf shop and didn't even get a hello .I just wanted to say thank you so much for Jake and his team they were awesome again I will be returning to buy support next time thank you so much

Without a doubt, they have some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. We came in for the summer warehouse sale. My wife and I live in an apartment, don't have a big car or roof rack so a traditional stand up paddle board wasn't in the cards. We chose to go with inflatable SUPs. Unfortunately my board had a slow leak in it. I stopped by The warehouse Craig greeted me at the door. He was very friendly, apologized for the inconvenience that it must have caused me and committed to me to make it right. He found another board, inflated it and left it overnight to double check to make sure there were no leaks. He then left it inflated and waited for me to pick it up to verify that my replacement board was in good shape. As I was leaving, he offered me a sandwich since I had stopped by during lunchtime. He earned a customer for life. Great board as well! Although it is inflatable, the board is very rigid.

I had originally bought a paddleboard on amazon, I didn't want to spend a ton of money on something I didn't know that I would use regularly. I was really not having any luck standing on my board and although i knew most of it was in my head, i had tried a friends isle board and although I wasn't any good at standing on her board I knew i could get there. So I started calling Isle and asking so many questions, letting them know i was also a bit timid and Jake was amazing, stayed on the phone with me multiple times for 15-20 min as i rattled off my questions, so when I went there Saturday morning, i still had a million questions, because this is an investment. He reassured me if I didn't like it I could trade it in for another inflatable and that made me feel so good about my decision. Both guys there helped me so much and were so patient, i left so happy... and then I took it out on the water and OMG this pisces is in heaven!!! I felt like this board is so sturdy and will be well loved!!! Thank you Jake (& the other guy I didn't get his name) for being so patient with me and helping me find my perfect board!! I love my scout! Go early in the morning to check out their used boards!!!

This is a well deserved 5 star review. Excellent service in every aspect!! Once summer rolls around, we are at Lake Mead once a week. Yes, it's a desert, but beggars can't be choosers and I'll take what I can get! My friend has a 23' boat and I thought I'd contribute to the fun and purchase the Paddle Board Package, with 2 Gliders (SUP) and 2 Carbon Paddles- Free Shipping is what sealed the deal! AWESOME!! I called customer support with questions before purchasing the boards and Craig was helpful, honest and knowledgeable. I took his advice with no doubts that this dude knew what he was talking about. I had reservations about the boards fitting on my Altima and he took the extra step to email me with a picture of a SUP board on a Mini Cooper, talk about exceeding my expectations! We did have one little hiccup with the freight service that forgot one of the boards in LA, but that company did everything in their power to make it right; from offering to come in on a Saturday so I could pick them up to trying to accommodate my schedule for a home delivery and promising my board would be in Las Vegas by the next day. We weren't in a hurry to get the boards and they went the extra mile to make the situation right, so at that moment, I would have rated this a 4 star review. It was free shipping! ...Probably would have been a different story had I paid for it... With several more calls to customer service about how to install the fin, the proper way to strap my boards to my car, purchase board bags and wall racks, they knew me as the girl in Las Vegas because my voice sounded familiar. And my latest call was a few dimples/cracks in my board because of how we transported the SUP in the boat. I emailed them photos and he assured me that it's normal wear and tear and then emailed me with photos of when I really need to be concerned about the board cracking. ...I am impressed... The staff is so friendly, it's like you're speaking with your friends. They genuinely care about your experience with them and have never disappointed me; going the extra mile to make sure I was happy with the outcome. I won't hesitate to refer them to anyone who asks!

Update customer service (customer satisfaction/return policy)!…read more They don't work with you to satisfy their customers, even at corporate higher level management. Although they say there is no time limit for returns, there certainly is (according to corporate mgmt). However, no where in their pamphlet, store, or receipt does it say in writing that you cannot return anything (even new with receipt) once the item is purged from their system (who knows when that is) or it has been several years old. One representative told me that they would not be able to resell old (but unused) items due to parts like shoe glue in my case (Nike shoes). But that goes with anything they sell so that's a poor answer. So buyer beware! Not just this store. All Big 5 locations have the same "lame" misleading return policy under corporate executives. They need to update their policy and customer service big time. And they need to put all the disclaimers etc. on paper especially the receipts. It doesn't help even if you are a loyal customer for several years either.

My goddaughter, principal at a high school suddenly called with a request that I run to the Big 5,…read morebuy cleats for a student who had none and was at a soccer game and couldn't play. She asked that I spend 50 as she was going to cover the cost for the student. I got to the Big 5 and asked for help as I had no idea what to buy..after hearing my story about the student, the young manager helped me find a pair close to 50...it was 65$. I called and asked...can it be 65? Yes, she said, so I hurried to pay to hurry to get the cleats to the student so he can play! As I am paying, the young manager comes to the register and says "give her my discount." I paid 53$ OUT THE DOOR for the cleats.. What an act of kindness!! What a generous, wise young manager.. I'm making this my go to store Thank you!!

Five Stars based on the experience that we had with an employee named Lovely. She greeted us right…read moreaway when we walked in. She was super customer service oriented and she answered all of the questions that we had about the shoes that we liked. When we tried on shoes, ahe made sure to ask us how they felt and even checked to see if the store had other sizes in stock. We also were greeted by another employee named Jackie, she was also great. I loved that she indicated that if the shoe size is not in stock, that they could order it and ship it to the store or our home; PERFECT sales service! She also asked us if we wanted to have a look at the apparel, which was great. We loved how positive her attitude was. Our whole experience was amazing and it is because of this professional team member. Note: One of the female store supervisors (in plain clothes no uniform) was a jumping up and down and dancing on a try-on seating bench in the front of the store, super unprofessional. I hope that the she doesn't hurt herself. I am pretty sure that she was high or drunk on the job. Thanks!
