It says nothing on their website about needing an appointment. Drove in from the other side of town with my drawings needing to be framed, and was basically looked at like I was crazy for daring come through the door without an appointment. It did not used to be this way. I have used them several times to frame my fine art drawings. I loved their frames, but will never go back after the way I was treated this time around. If you need an appointment, they need to state that clearly on their website. It was embarrassing and sad. I guess they've gotten too big for us normal artists. read more

I've been using Fine Art solutions for years, and they are truly amazing. I just picked up a bunch of pieces that I had gotten framed, and I'm thrilled to pieces (again) at how beautiful they are. They worked with me on all my particulars and special requests and delivered them perfectly. I cannot express how gorgeous the frames are, and how fully realized it makes my work look. I have a frame from them from about ten years ago hanging on my wall, and it still looks great- no corners splitting, warping or anything. They might have given themselves the name: Fine Art Solutions.. but really should be known as FINE ART PROBLEMS. At 1st they seemed to be doing good work for me.. but steadily more and more lazy and sloppy mistakes arose. Their willingness to resolve these problems were pathetic at best... I was met with denial, not taking responsibility, an overall reluctancy to make it right. Their "attempts" at making it right were full of more mistakes, deadlines missed, damaged prints (actually scratched one..and tried to cover it up), damaged frames, debris in frame, etc... all at substantial additional financial costs and time to me, which led me to finally taking my work/frames elsewhere to have properly repaired. Be carefull paying in advance!!! Last spring i search YELP in order to find the best or one the the best framers in LA. An easy tool when you have to put your order from the other side of the globe. I was going to participate in ParisPhoto at Paramounth in the first days of may. I chose Fine Art Solutions, i had to pay in advance, i only did that because i was wery close to deadline. Including the prints it as a order at a bit more than 7000 USD. The frames was beautiful when they finally arrived, but there was something wrong with the mounted museumsglass. They company came and realized that there was something wrong. Wheh the light passes the glass it made a pattern on the images, it looked like the images was printet on velvet. Now i know it has a name, it is called "roping" No time to get new glass the only option was to let them hang during Paris Photo and then change the glass afterwards.....it was a pity, only a blind would buy them. I was struggeling with Fine Art Solutions for more than five months, telling that they were gambling with their reputation. Bunches of email crossing the Atlantic Sea.........but nothing happend, i got only strange,weirded and bad explanations. They could had offerred me a discount, taken away the glass built a crate and returned the images, how difficult can it be ? They simply did nothing. In end of october last year i simply ran out of patience and i asked a cargo company to pick them crate and ship them.
