This is my first used car purchase and my first experience with CarMax, and it went well. I…read moreresearched vehicles online and put in all the specifications that I was in search of, and found a 2025 Nissan Sentra in Palmdale, CA, shipped it for $99 and waited for it to arrive. The online shopping experience was straightforward, and the communication and text updates were smooth and non-burdensome. I did the financing online to get an idea of where we would be and also sought out financing through America First Credit Union to make sure I had the best interest rate (in the economy, you have to save where you can). We test-drove the car with Bryan M., and he was great to work with. The CarMax experience is definitely different because there aren't any deals or haggled pricing, so you will want to do your research and know what the car you are interested in costs as a new vehicle and as a used vehicle at a dealership, so you can cross-reference prices. We test drove another vehicle just to make sure we were confident in our choice. Bryan ran a finance credit check for us, and after comparing the rates, we ended up using America First Credit Union. After researching and comparing the extended warranty protection packages, the CarMax service protection plan is really comprehensive and covers a lot so it was a tough decision. It is very well reviewed. We did end up going with the plan AFCU offered because it was comparable and extended to 120K miles. We brought our check in the next day, and we were in and out within an hour of our scheduled appointment. Bryan didn't pressure us to buy anything additional, and I appreciated his customer service and professionalism. When we ran into a snag with the computer system, the management stepped in and problem-solved right away, and it didn't hold us up in any way. The car was washed and ready to go! Small hiccup with vehicle and it needs a maintenance within 24 hours but I am not worried because they were prompt in response and even though it was Bryan's day off he responded with directions. Still overall a positive review and hopeful experience.

If appointments are not going to be honored, there is little point in offering them. This was a frustrating and disappointing first impression, especially when I came prepared to seriously consider purchasing a vehicle. I scheduled an appointment simply to view and test-drive a vehicle. I arrived on time but was marked as "browsing" and waited an hour without being called or even being given an opportunity to look at a car. An appointment is meaningless if no one is available to assist the customer. I eventually left without seeing a vehicle. Nobody reached out to me to let me know what was going on or to apologize for the long wait. When I went and asked what was going on I was told they were short on staff. This was an extremely disappointing experience. CarMax came recommended - I'm telling those people that they must have had a totally different experience than me at a different location not to use this location in the future.

5 Stars!! Outstanding Experience at Henderson AutoNation!…read more First, a special thank you to Sales Manager Marisol, who went above and beyond to match the offer I received from other competitor. Professionalism and willingness to work with me made all the difference. I also want to thank Mark, who handled the entire process from the moment I arrived. He was incredibly courteous, welcoming. The whole staff was super friendly and professional. It was clear they enjoy a positive and supportive work environment, and that energy really shows in how they treat their customers. Thanks again for everything! If I ever need to sell a car again, I will definitely come back to this location.

The only pleasant experience…read morewas with our salesperson, Diego who was forced to sit with us for an unreasonably long time waiting to finalize our transaction. The extreme high pressure to purchase extended warranties was not professional and unnecessary when we declined. Between the finance person and Manager, they would not accept our decline. I feel sorry for someone who doesn't have the strength to say no, after such hardcore tactics. Also didn't appreciate a 5 minute test drive, as that is all they allow. The dealership says they do things differently than in the past when hardcore tactics were the norm. I think they are fooling themselves. Clearly, they have no incentive to try to gain future business by treating their customers with professionalism.

A smooth process from start to finish, Toby is a top notch salesman, friendly and I'm very happy I was able to work with him. Findlay Toyota is very streamlined with everything in one spot, a truly comfortable car buying experience and I wish I would've bought a vehicle here sooner. I waited almost 2 months for my 2026 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, and what should have been an exciting…read moreexperience turned into one where I genuinely felt lied to and scammed. We worked with Kody Manalo and were very clear about what we wanted: a white AWD RAV4 Hybrid with no unnecessary extras. We agreed on a price, received it in writing, paid a $500 deposit, and were given a VIN for the vehicle we were waiting for. On August 26, Kody told us our car had arrived. When we came in the next morning, we immediately noticed extras we had specifically said we didn't want. I checked the VIN and discovered THIS WAS NOT THE CAR WE HAD BEEN GIVEN THE VIN FOR. It was a different vehicle with a higher price. We immediately questioned Kody about it. He told us not to worry and that our agreed price would stay the same. Based on that assurance, I signed paperwork reflecting the original price. About 30 minutes later, he came back and told us the price was changing because this was a different vehicle -- almost $3,000 more. I asked what happened to the RAV4 we had waited two months for, and I never received a clear explanation beyond an "internal miscommunication." We asked for a manager. Remi Chun (Remington) came to our table. We specifically asked if he was a manager, and he confirmed that he was. He acknowledged that this was their internal mistake but said they would not honor our original price. I later discovered that Findlay Toyota's own website lists Remi Chun as a "Sales Associate," not a Sales Manager. The whole experience honestly felt like a well-organized scam. People told us things directly to our faces, only to change the story shortly afterward. We were basically given two options: pay almost $3,000 more for a different vehicle with extras we never wanted, or start over and wait potentially another two months. Unfortunately, my previous car had broken down and I had already been paying for a rental for about a month. After almost 4 hours of arguing and feeling completely misled, I finally gave up and signed. I love my RAV4, but there was zero excitement left when I bought it. I just wanted to get out of that dealership. Please be aware of this SCAM inside the dealership!!!!!

I have a vehicle registerd in a state I no longer live in and nowhere to go and I need to get back to work on the East Coast. A friend offered to let me keep the car at hos place while I try and figure things out. I immediately take pictures and send over the documents as this is Friday late afternoon. Communicated the entire process and held my hand to the end. Now this was a lower offer then what i originally received, but in the end Give Me The Vin stood by their word which means a lot. I couldn't more strongly encourage the use of this company to sell your vehicle. Thank you all at Give Me The Vin!!

I haven't been back there in a year because I've had horrible customer service since Denise left. I decided to give them another try. I waited 2 1/2 hours. The guy helping me said he would be my new service adviser. I left and took the streets home. Car seemed to be driving fine. The next day I had to commute to the other side of town. There was a bolt laying on my garage floor but I also just had the garage door serviced so I thought nothing of it. I heard some noise while driving in the freeway but I thought it was the other cars. On my way home there was a really loud pop sound, something hit underneath the car and initially I thought my tire had blown or something because there was nothing on the freeway. I drove another 15 minutes before getting off the freeway because the car seemed to be running fine but when I got off and made a right turn I could heard constant cracking. I was turning into my garage and another loud pop sound and the bottom fell off! The splash shield had not been put back on properly from the oil change and it literally broke off. Half of it is still under the car. I immediately notified them and sent pictures. That happened 10 days ago. I've had to reach out to them several times to find out status and am constantly being told I'm talking to my service department and it's going to take 4 more days for the part. Luckily for me, I have another car to drive! But there is very little concern for my safety. No one has said if I'm okay, apologized for the inconvenience or taken any accountability for the fact it could have really caused harm. The part was fine when I took it in...if there was damage to it, I would have assumed someone would have said something before putting it back on the car, I didn't hit anything, so it had to be a wrong or improper installation on their part. I need a resolution now and I'm not having anyone else touch it so they won't claim it's not their issue. Mistakes happen, we are human but the lack of care and concern for something as important as this is unacceptable. Any suggestions on how to move this along faster? Take your car there at your own risk. Service is not what it used to be.

How did this outfit receive anything over ONE STAR ratings?…read more Where you do start? 1. Complete ripoff artists - I brought two headlight bulbs (H11 model) to the front and was told that each bulb represented TWO separate charges so instead of the $3.24 on their website, they were going to charge me $9.50 PER bulb. When I pointed out that the bulb is a single unit and cannot be disassembled, they gave some lame excuse of how the bayonet is a separate piece from the bulb as if they are not bonded together and the bulb will somehow work without it. I bought a single bulb at that point as I NEEDED it, not because I didn't feel like I was being cheated, which I was. 2. Completely unprofessional - No puedes asumir que los clientes no hablan español porque no parecen latino. (You can't assume that customers cannot speak Spanish because they don't look Latino.) I heard customers being insulted by the staff in Spanish apparently so they wouldn't understand what was being said. 3. Completely unprofessional #2 - I really don't need to hear about your personal life while I'm trying to conduct business. Overheard intimate details of people's lives that they really needed to share at break time away from customers. 4. They don't seem to hire people who actually understand auto parts - There are so many incidents of this that it would be joke if #1 hadn't happened. How hard is it to hire people who know what they are doing? 5. Treats everyone like they are criminals - Just because some people steal doesn't mean that we all do. If you can't tell good customers from bad ones, then you really need new people working for you. I was feeling bad when I saw people stealing items out in the yard until the incident when this business ripped me off. Now if I ever use their business again (which isn't likely as they don't have many makes or models of my type of car) I'm not going say anything when I see guys loading up on switches, relays and fuses that they can fit in their pockets. Can't give ZERO stars...but would definitely like to.
