I have had quite a few things done by this shop and they have NEVER failed to meet, and even exceed my expectations at times. I have been to both shops and quite prefer the Losee address better. Today I went in with a suspicion of a failing fuel pump in my Nissan. Even though they were swamped on the Friday before New Years they still worked in my vehicle. Customer service is always superb! This is my favorite place to take my vehicle for repairs. I've been taking my vehicles there for years and this is a family owned business that has transferred from father to son and the excellent customer service has NEVER diminished. I am always amazed and impressed by how efficient and outstanding the customer service is. I even have all of my family including my own mother taking their vehicles to Auto Lab. I have a 96 impala with a lt1 engine and have been going to Mike for the last few months for repair . I have followed all his suggestions and always paid my bill even when he charged $400 for a radaitor and install . When I had him change my plugs,wires distributor,waterpump I had bought a kit to have him also change my timing cover gasket and seals . He said timing cover gasket seals were not leaking that bad . Mind you that he had already had my car for two weeks for these repairs . I know he has a busy shop basically being a one man operation . He is a decent mechanic so I overlook how long it takes him to complete . When I pick up car it has a deep scratch on the drivers side quarter panel . He does not accept responsibility for it and hands me a $500 dollar bill . I deduct $100 for scratch and he tells me not to come back when I have done nothing wrong . I take it home and now have a major oil leak comming from timing cover gasket and seals and will have to take it to another shop to take everything he just installed back off to fix the seals and gasket he did not want to fix or did a bad job on fixing . basically $400 down the drain . I have no problem paying for a job done right but dont like to pay twice because Mike was either too busy or lazy to fix my problem correctly . read more

Had a fuel problem with my truck. My father and I both believed the fuel pump was going out (again). So I took it down to determine the cost of having him replace the pump. He came out and did a free diagnosis, and told me my fuel pressure regulator was bad. Instead of making several hundred dollars on replacing the fuel pump, he said that I could easily replace it myself. I did, and behold it solved several of the problems the truck had had previously. I had two reviews on my 2007 Hyundi Tuscon. First a mechanic in Henderson said a heat sensor was out. The same mechanic changed the 02 sensor last yr. The cadallaic converter was falling apart the same mechanic stated. Brakes were tpast, and all 4 tires gone. I knew this guy was lying because the thread to the rear tires were almost new. I saw Mike. The results, the 02 sensor was bad, the Cadalliac converter was bad but because the old mechanic that fixed it quick (same guy in henderson) drilled the core out. So the quick fix I didnt understand for 800 was 200 less than a new system which was legal and pass smog. Mike fixed the brakes which were at the squeller, not toast, 2 tires, cadalliadic converter, ac, oil cap, oil change for $2400 there abouts. The mechanic on boulder wanted $1800 for a new converter alone, and about $1500 for tires and brakes... Mike saved me from getting robbed. The reason I took my car for a 2nd opinion is because GSA vehicles are taken to Mike because GSA tracks costs and companies whom overcharge or make up stuff out blue and cross them off the list. Mike is a 5 star gut and dont be shocked when there is hardly no room on the lot. Honest mechanics are hard to find. He is next to base also and cheaper and way more honest than fire stone now on base which is sad since they right on base. Yes, I am military. They wanted near 100 to look at my ac and estimated 500 for ac which was not correct. Mike saved me after the first 2 estimates over $2K.. No serious as sad as it sounds from a mech from boulder hwwy in LV and the nellis fire stone would have put me in the poor house and probably my vehicle would not have been fixed. read more
