Dropped of a door shell and a hood for painting, I also supplied Mike with a quart of paint. All he had to do was to use my paint, prep and spray. I took all the responsibility for color matching. I also removed hardware from the hood and door, including handle, mirror, etc. Mike looked at the job and gave me a quote, in which I agreed without question. The job did not turn out well, painting of the door was not complete, a top section was not painted due to a partially removed molding which they did not remove. Hood had bad edges in which the paint was flaking, final sanding and polishing of the hood was horrible, you could see all the sanding marks. I brought the door and hood back and Mike and he agreed to redo it. I thought that all was good at this time, this all changed when I picked up the parts the following week. Mike removed the trim on the door as he should have done it the first time, but he did not reinstall it as he should, claiming that he is not a "restoration shop" and he does not like to take in business with people that watch YouTube. He then continued with a total melt down and I left the shop feeling confused. I never forced him to take this simple job, I did not tell him how much I wanted to pay and I did not expect to be yelled at by a lunatic when I returned to pick up my parts. So, if you are looking for a professional paint shop and expect to be treated fairly, this is not the place for you. So my QX56 SUV was rear-end on the highway at highway speeds by some fool who failed to see the construction zone and the stopping traffic. Needless to say my car needed some work done to it. Final Touch was excellent. Mike Reed was attentive, kept me informed, worked with my insurance company and returned the car in fantastic fully detailed condition. He even noticed on my rear window that the tint film was scratched and fixed this before the window was re-installed in the new hatch door. Excellent place. Went here on the recommendation of the Porsche Exchange to have my door and fender refinished (it had been keyed). This is the worst place to take your car to. I inspected their repairs and found contamination, peeling, sanding marks, overspray, bubbles in the paint, cracks, and other imperfections that could have been prevented by a clean air supply, good workmanship and a clean atmosphere. The paint looks really bad and i will never recommend this shop to anyone. The paint doesn't even match in certain spots. I wonder if all the people who posted 5 star reviews even bothered to inspect their vehicles. read more

Wow just wow! Mike Reed and his staff were super easy to work with and did an absolutely beautiful job fixing my 2011 Audi Q5. Their estimate came in much lower than other body shops. Great customer service! They even gave me a ride home to Deerfield after I dropped my car off so I could avoid having to use an Uber. The car looked practically brand new when I picked it up. Went here for the first time about a week ago based on a recommendation from my car dealer (yes, my car dealer gets their returned leased cars touched up here before resale). Never been here before and never heard of this place until my car dealer mentioned it. I had just bought a used car and had it waxed, power buffed, and the leather seats conditioned by Final Touch. They even used the touch up paint (from my dealer) and went over the entire car. My used car looks like new! I had full car details done before at the local car wash but this place actually cost less than my fancy car wash detail (I was surprised too). Final touch also does dent removal and body work if your used car needs it so it's a great one stop place to get your car looking nice again. Not a fancy place - looks like a big warehouse - but I will be back to get my second car done. read more

Final Touch did a great job fixing/re-painting my hood after a DIY paint touch up gone horribly wrong. Color is perfect match and looks brand new. This body shop was new to me but was recommended by my auto mechanic, who's opinion I thoroughly trust. Oh, and I drove all the way from the north side of Chicago to this shop and it was well worth the drive. I brought my Acura RSX-S in for an estimate on front bumper damage. The bumper had a very deep 'U' shaped valley in it's underside, from running over a high parking space barrier. I was certain that I would need a new bumper and was expecting the estimate to reflect this. Happily one of the shop's owners, Darek, examined the bumper damage and told me it could easily be fixed, no need to order a new bumper. His quote was even better news! The quote was very reasonable so I had them do the work. I couldn't be happier with the results. The bumper was professionally repaired to brand new condition. And the paint work is flawless and matches the rest of the car perfectly. A very nice, and unexpected, surprise was that they hand washed and cleaned the interior of the car, at no charge. I have had my car in high-end, high priced shops and they haven't bothered to do this. I highly recommended this shop, you won't be disappointed with them.
