I had another one of my vehicles done and as always, outstanding workmanship and top notch quality. Thanks, Mike. Your workmanship and quality are #1. The owner does the work and makes sure you are satisfied completely before leaving. Reasonably priced. Great service. Highly recommend!

I was suggested the place as a recommendation by a friend. Other shops were backed up and I thought I would give them a shot as they could get me in right away. What a mistake! This was by far the worst tint job I have ever had out of the 10 or so I've ever had done. There were unacceptable blemishs on EVERY single of the 7 panels done, including creases from installation error, bubbles in the line of sight, large dirt, and even tint that didn't reach a corner from miscutting. I took the vehicle to umbra and a couple of other reputable places I normally go to and they laughed as the vehicle never should of left the shop. What's worse is that i was told to keep my new $60k vehicle out in the sun for weeks to let it "cure" and of course none of it got any better just like the reputable shops mentioned. I'm sure he was hoping I would just live with it. I called to schedule the removal, but the installer was having surgery. Finally after several weeks and about a month after the install, it was in to be removed. I was treated as a criminal and was kicked out of the shop as if I was the one to blame. He wouldn't even listen to my complaints. I wish I wasn't refunded because I would of happily taken this guy to court. Run, run, run away! read more

Good tint job on my 2021 Accord. Recommend for sure. Fair price most definitely compared to other shops. Guy was cool as well.

Absolutely fabulous job done. A great value for the money, and willing to work with any schedule. I originally had my appointment scheduled 2 weeks ago and was going to ride my motorcycle why they had the car. But due to smoke in the air I called to reschedule and they were beyond supportive. They answered all my questions, took the time to explain the product and what would look best. Highly recommend this place! read more

Mike did an amazing job on my 2004 Honda Civic. The whole thing only cost ~$200 to do all the windows as well as a tint strip across the windshield. He was super friendly and helpful when I was picking the type of tint to go with and he even repaired it 1wk after his install when I found a stray hair that had gotten stuck behind one of the panels. It wouldn't have been an issue, except it was right in the middle of the window. Either way, great job, friendly service, and he stands behind his quality work. Awesome! I definitely recommend him. read more

Had seen some of the work on Facebook in the past, was impressed, and finally got a car worth tinting. Mike was very friendly, courteous, and professional. Set me up with a little lounge area with complimentary coffee, snacks, and WI-FI as I waited. Took a couple of hours only and turned out better than I could've imagined. Thank you, Mike, for your prompt, efficient, and GREAT work! Will definitely be back down the road with all my car-tinting needs! read more

Went to Tintworks for the 3rd time. Very satisfied with the quality of tint and the overall customer service. Mike even gives suggestions on which tint would be ideal as far as heat insulation is concerned, at the same time considering what looks best on your car. Idk if he remembers but on the first time I went for tints, the door got messed up and he took care of it by replacing the whole door panel. That was about 5-6 years ago and up to this day, the tints still look perfect. During my last tint service from Tintworks, I got the Air 80 tint installed on my windshield and its performance and ability to reject heat is awesome! Highly recommended. He even charged a lower rate than what was agreed upon. I can't thank Tintworks enough. You want a humble and honest tint specialist, look no further, Mike is definitely the best installer around. read more

Decided to drive a little farther out this time to get my windows tinted. The last place I went to took longer then it should've and I almost fell asleep while they were working on my car, not to mention 6 months after having the tint done I started noticing bubbling on my front two windows and they charged me double. I knew to never go back there again. Saw The Tintworks on here and was impressed with the reviews. This was my second vehicle getting tinted in IL, third overall. Dropped my truck off to have 7 windows done, 15% up front and limo in the back, he even ran my truck through the car wash real quick next door. Was expecting it to take a few hours but was done in less than two. Very happy with the work, the professionalism that I received, and price. HIGHLY recommend The Tintworks for all your tinting needs!! read more

I decided to go with The Tintworks after doing a lot of research and reading through numerous reviews and comparisons with other places in area and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I contacted Mike to inquire about his services to scheduling an appointment and finally going in to get it done, everything was easy and went smoothly. He was very responsive and patient with all my questions so that was a definite plus. I bought this as a Christmas present for my fiancé and Mike did a fantastic job on his car. He gave us the rundown before and after he worked on the car and gave clear instructions on what to expect, what to use/not to use on the windows, what to look out for as the film was curing on the windows, etc. Definitely worth it and would highly recommend The Tintworks for your window tinting services! read more

There is no one in the area better at tinting! I have had 3 vehicles done and the quality is top notch. No bubbles, no folds, just nice clean lines and smooth tint! Although I had to wait a little longer than expected to get an appointment, it speaks of the high demand for Mike's work. I was lucky enough to call and get scheduled the same day. The owner was upfront and honest and explained many options. He knew my car and immediately knew how many windows I wanted tinted. I was mistaken and said 5 total but he knew their was smaller windows in the sides. I waited in the courtesy waiting room and he offered snacks and drinks for free and free Wi-Fi. Cable tv for my entertainment and comfortable seating. I am not from this state and he also educated me on the laws about tinting. I would recommend this business to anyone. Fair prices and excellent work. He instructed me on post care and what kind of cleaner to use. If I had other vehicles to tint I would go here again. read more

Mike is great, keeps very busy and he's a one man shop. That's why his work is so good because he installs everything himself. I bought a new 17 Cherokee Ltd. and wanted the two front driver windows tinted to be close to the passengers windows factory tint. $80 to tint 2 windows. I've had him do 5 windows jobs for including rear with almost limo glass, which makes the side windows look darker. He gets a lot of business referred to him by high end dealerships. If your dealer offers window tinting they probably job it out to Mike. read more
