I paid for the Supreme Hand Car Wash, which is advertised as providing attention to detail for both…read morethe interior and exterior. The package was $46 plus $5 for a midsize SUV, so it came out to almost $60 after tip. Our car was not particularly dirty to begin with. The main reason I chose this package was to have the interior properly vacuumed and wiped down, especially areas like the cup holders, center console, dashboard, and back seating area. Unfortunately, those were exactly the areas that were missed. There was still visible dirt and debris in the cup holders and around the center console. I actually wiped down several spots myself before taking the photos, and the dirt came off easily with a wet towel. The back seat area did not appear to have been cleaned at all. The seats were still folded down exactly as they had been, and it does not look like anyone took the time to put them back up in order to vacuum underneath or properly clean that area. I was in a hurry that day and did not have time to bring it up before leaving. I also trusted that the job would be done thoroughly because of the high reviews and because the service specifically advertises attention to detail. I'm leaving 2 stars because the staff was courteous, there was no wait on a Monday afternoon, and the service was quick. However, it was probably too quick considering how much was overlooked. For nearly $60 after tip, especially on a car that was not very dirty to begin with, I was honestly expecting much better attention to detail.

I was accepted this past year to show my 2008 Bullitt Mustang at the Muscle Car and Corvette…read moreNationals (MCACN) held in Rosemont 11/17/18 - 11/18/18. MCACN is the world's largest all indoor car show devoted to muscle cars, dealer-built supercars and Corvettes. There were cars on display valued from $7,000 to $6,000,000. They had attendees from 40 states, and several countries with the furthest attendee bringing their car from Australia. 30,000 + attendees were there to view the cars on display. Knowing how strict the judging was going to be, I recalled meeting Frank the owner of Luminescent Detailing at a local car show in Gurnee. He impressed me with his car and knowledge of auto detailing. I called Frank and informed him of the upcoming MCACN show and although I felt my car was in great shape, I needed to take it to the next level to score well in the show. Although Frank's team was very busy he made the time to detail my Bullitt. I asked that he address the exterior finish, interior, engine compartment and undercarriage. After I dropped the car off, Frank immediately called to inform me of several imperfections in the finish that needed to be cared for to restore it to show quality finish. This kind of attention and honesty is why Luminescence Detailing is the best place for professional finish services in the Chicagoland area. When I met Frank the Friday of the show, the Bullitt looked better than it did on the original showroom floor. It has been transformed into a masterpiece and it gave me the confidence going in to the MCACN show that we would be displaying a winner. After we unloaded the car and the Bullitt was staged, I noticed a few scratches in the jewelry store lights that could cost in point deductions. I called Frank for advice on how to rectify the issues and he did not hesitate in stating he would be right over to take care of this for me. After Frank did his magic the scratches were removed, and the Bullitt was perfect even under the bright lights. This caliper of service is rare and a testament to how Frank treats all his customers by providing detailing services to the highest level of perfection. On that Saturday, the MCACN judge took 45 minutes to inspect the our Bullitt and we earned the top award which was a Blue-Ribbon Award with a score of 998 out of possible 1000 in the Street Stock Modified division. The exterior, interior and engine compartment scored 775 out of 775. The 2 points deducted with the undercarriage for an oxidized brake line and a tiny scratch under bumper which I think occurred during loading or unloading. This MCACN Blue Ribbon award would not have been possible without the excellent work by the Luminescent Detailing team and Frank. I plan to bring Frank my 2003 Mach 1 Mustang to work his magic on this spring as I prepare it for the 2019 MCACN show. I recommend that you reach out to Luminescent Detailing for all your auto detailing needs. There is truly no need to go anywhere else as they provide perfection every day in all that they do.

Very disappointing experience. I scheduled a 4:00 p.m. detailing appointment. The morning of the…read moreappointment, I received a voicemail asking me to call back to confirm. I was at work and was unable to answer the phone. The earliest I would have been able to call back would have been about 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment time. I arrived at 3:50 p.m. (10 minutes early for my scheduled appointment) only to be told that I had been marked as a no-show because I hadn't returned the confirmation call. At no point when I scheduled the appointment was I told that failing to return a same-day confirmation call would result in cancellation, nor was I notified that my appointment had actually been canceled. I completely understand the need to confirm appointments, but canceling a scheduled appointment without clearly communicating that confirmation is mandatory, and then not notifying the customer of the cancellation, is not reasonable customer service. There was also no meaningful apology or attempt to make the situation right. Unfortunately, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

They wouldn't work with me on getting this situation resolved. They didn't return phone calls. My insurance agent said I was supposed to do a 3 way call with them and State Farm claims and that didn't happen. Finally it got worked out somehow and I was supposed to bring my car in. They would usually call me when I had a claim but not this time and they didn't call me to pick it up. I was not given any paperwork. The work was done ok . Paint didn't match up too well but I'll live with it.
