We were in the neighborhood and looked on Yelp to find this place nearby. Final Touch Car Wash is a HAND WASH car wash. They charge the same price as the other car machine washes but it's a whole lot better! There are about 6 people put in different areas of the cycle that are spraying, washing, waxing and then drying your car all by hand. They even have an air blower that the dryer person uses to get in all the nooks where water collects! My car desperately needed it after all the salt and debris caked on. My car looked sparkling shiny. There was a line but it went really fast. I'd recommend this wash if you live in the city and you have new/newer car especially with ceramic coating. They do detailing too and had many exotic cars in the bay that they were working on! read more

Not great. Not awful. Definitely not fast in and out. You'll be there about an hour. Maybe a little less if you're lucky. But pretty quick and pretty sloppy when it's your turn. Just guys doing work to get paid. Nobody cares and they're heavy handed. There were still streaks, spots everywhere, and fibers trapped in all the badges. $30 for a mediocre hand wash... My wife said not to come back here and she was right. I've been here serval times and everything was fine, however the last several times they have taken off my American flag magnet and turned it upside down. Today they removed it completely and I had to ask them where it was and then they reappeared with it. They said the power washer must have knocked it off, ok but you weren't going to put it back? And maybe once, sure but 3 times in a row you've either turned my American flag upside down or removed it and weren't intending on putting it back? This is a pattern and I won't be back. 01/27/22 - Dam my car needed a wash. They dump so much dam salt on the roads my car looked like it was gray. After the car came out of the wash it wasn't gray it was black. The car went in a nasty mess and came out looking like it was brand spanking new. It sure does feel good to get all that salt an grime off of the car. Went for a long overdue hand car wash. I used to get on the regular but times are different during a pandemic. It was my first time getting a hand car wash and allowing strangers in my car-- you know, to vacuum & wipe down. Otherwise I did exterior only up until now. I drive past this place all the time and finally decided to give it a try. It's super small but looked very busy with cars to clean, either to be detailed or cleaned. It's next to a mechanic shop so I'm not sure if the cars are from there or they have a deal with car dealership to detail or whatnot. Driving in, I didn't know how much $ it was going to be, but later found the price board and it was $15. I guess long gone are $10 hand car wash days because the other place also raised prices to $13. For $15, it was an ok job. It was the same as typical hand car wash. I'm not sure if they were in a rush to finish the job or if this is the regular, but my steering wheel was still wet (not just a little bit, but by a lot) when they turned over the car to me. Would I go back... hmm, perhaps if I'm in the area and am in need of a car wash. Would I go on the regular? Probably not. read more

I have been to this place three times. my first visit was a good experience, did a good job cleaning my car. The second time They broke the letter C on the " 4 MATIC" as shown on the picture, I was busy on the phone that day and forgot to bring it to their attention and that was my mistake not to mention it when I was there. After a week I took the car back there again to get it cleaned, I met the guy on the picture not sure if he is the owner but he was acting like he was in charge, I brought to his attention what happened last time regarding the letter C, not accusing him of anything just wondering if they still have it and return it to me because it's expensive to replace. Unfortunately he was very rude and unprofessional stating I should've said something when the car was there last time. Third time is the charm, took the car again, but this time they ripped the leather on the driver seat and ruined the cup holder to the point where I couldn't open it. So when I mentioned that to the same guy again while I was there, he denied it and said they never touched the seat, and with his rudeness he told me "if you don't like it here do not come back again"and walked away from me and said we are done talking, refusing to tell me his name and his position. Brought my car here to get cleaned as I have been coming here for YEARS. After I left I noticed a giant 8 inch scratch on my tinted back window and called the car wash to look into this more. I was put in touch with the manager who said they would look into this through their video footage and get back to me. After calling back again 2 days later to check in, they stated that they found the video footage of the window cleaning on camera, and that they would investigate it AGAIN and get back to me. Weeks went by of me calling and leaving messages, and I still had not heard back. I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK after over a month now and I am extremely upset and dissatisfied with this type of service. The footage is clearly on camera and there's no way any other insistent could have caused this type of scratch. I will never recommend this car wash to anyone and will explain this story to ensure that they do not take their car there. They do not care about their customers and they clearly will not get back to you to ensure you are taken care of after a horrible experience. Completely unprofessional!!!! read more

The car was nicely cleaned, but the guy running the place was a total disaster. Guy in photo who is the one who takes payment had the most rude manners and unwelcoming vibe to him: -I came to the counter he asked, "what are you doing?" I understood he meant to ask which car wash I wanted, so I replied. I think he could have asked "which car wash do you want?" but that's the least of it. The whole time he had this mean look, was throwing keys and stuff around like he didn't want the customers or the cars to be there. -I was waiting in the small waiting room area and all of a sudden, he banged the window so loudly to get the attention of the elderly woman whose car was ready. She and I were very startled by the loud bang. He could have taken 2 more steps and peaked into the waiting area to say "mam, your car is ready", but instead she chose the rudest way to alert her. She and I took a minute to realize that was his intention, we were literally looking at each other trying to figure out what was going on. When she exited the waiting area he yelled "is ready!" and basically threw the keys at her hand. When it was my turn, he also just started yelling instead of approaching the waiting area; it's literally a few steps away. -When I asked him for his name he said "for what?!" I told him he was not very polite and all he said was "we're busy, get in your car!". -I'm I old fashioned by expecting simple polite words and good customer service from the people we pay for services, or what? On Thursday, September 16th, I had a vehicle detail appointment for my 2013 Kia Optima SXL. I dropped my car off at 5201 N Nagle Avenue Final Touch Car Wash, and when I picked it up, the engine was in limp mode, with the engine light blinking. There was no prior damage or obvious issues with the engine when the vehicle was dropped off in the morning. Please do not use this car wash for any detailing services, they stole my weather tech mats and gave them to a favorite customer as well. I demanded he calls the customer and has it returned within the next 30 minutes. I spoke with a manager, who told me that after I determined the damage and had it repaired, Final Touch would reimburse me for all expenses. Auto shop fixed my vehicle and sent me a charge for Final Touch, but when I returned, they refused to compensate me for the damages total of $400. See image for repair bill and rude manager to avoid at this location. I have filed a small claim in Illinois and I had to report them to Groupon and BBB. Stay away, protect your vehicle and go somewhere else. You will just be ignored by the rude bald head manager at the location. read more

I was desperate for a car wash and made the horrible mistake of bringing it here. Paid for the most expensive wash and the car was barely cleaned. Do NOT go here, they damaged our tinted window and refuse to fix it. We had a VERY unprofessional and disappointing experience with Final Touch Car Wash. We brought our car in for an exterior/interior clean on Aug 25th 2021 and we got the car back with large scratches about 7 inch long on our back tinted window. We are very understanding that mistakes happen so we immediately contacted the manager and showed him the photos of the damaged window, our receipt of the car cleaning service and he said he would "look into it". Days passed by and he never called us back so we continued to reach out to the manager and go through this run-around with him. Eventually we did get him on the phone again and he agreed that there was camera footage showing a worker accidentally damaging the window and he would contact us back. Even though the guys who wash the car don't all speak english, the boss guy will help you with whatever you need/want for your car. They work on 3 cars at once and are really fast. I give this place only one star - will never go back. The service was poor - I made an appointment and brought my car in at 8:30 a.m. I went inside, stood for about 5 minutes before anyone even approached to inquire why I was there. I told the person working the register that I had an appointment and gift cert for a full detail on my car. The person asked me for the gift receipt, took it and told me to leave my car for the day and that he would call me when it was complete. Never explained what exactly a full detail included. I finally called them at 4:45 p.m. to see if my car was ready and they said "oh yeah, we fogot to call you." To top off this poor customer service, the car windows were still dirty, the mats were still dirty and it looked like they missed washing one side of the car. What I think was the owner - but was told he wasn't- was acting as if covid was not a thing, wearing no mask or keeping no distance whether inside the tiny vestibule, interacting with customers, or cleaning cars. Then he was inside of my car cleaning it and I had to ask him 3-4 times to get out of my car without a mask on, till he finally budged. He stared me down with such disgust I thought he was going to spit in my face. I was with my four year old daughter. The worst part was once I asked him to get out of my car, other of the staff was also horribly RUDE to me. Even honked twice at me as me and my CHILD are trying to get in the car to drive away. Choosing not to wear a mask at a workplace is one infuriating thing (Funny all the signs say 'masks required', and rest of staff had masks on?) But be polite and move on. The attitude was uncalled for. Not to mention, the inside of my car is FILTHY. Vacuumed, yes, but dirtier than when I came in. Good car wash. Poor customer service. I've been here about a dozen times now. I'd give the car wash 4.5/5 stars. However, the attitude from the owner is mostly smug. I talk/treat people the way I wish to be spoken to/treated. However, his demeanor is always the same. And I ALWAYS tip the guys! I put my debit card into their new card reader the wrong way and he got very snide with me and rolled his eyes at me. I will never frequent their business again. One thing if it's coming from a disgruntled employee. Far worse coming from the owner. Live right down the street and been here a few times. Went today to get my suv washed. They are quick and usually pretty good. But today they overcharged my wash and there was water all over the passenger seat. I usually get a basic regular wash. They told me $20 and pointed to their sign. I didn't want to argue. $20 is for a large vehicle. I have a forester, doesn't look or feel large. Usually considered a small suv. I know the price I usually pay there. This is the 4th time I've tried this place. First two times were to detail my car and both times, they left the seats filled with dog drool and the top of the interior was never washed. Been here a few time. First time I came I was treated with respect as a customer. Second time I noticed different body language each worker claimed they speak no English. Therefore, I could not communicate the services I needed. When the guy final spoke English he responded in a ignorant manner with racist behaviors. It made me feel and think at the same time that my car was not good enough to be serviced by them. I am a Caucasian with an African American friend and should not have to be subjected to this type of behavior by no one. However, I would think if there was a language barrier they would try harder to satisfy the customers needs knowing they need employment. I don't even understand how they can have that type of thought pattern being a minority themselves. read more

Great service for a great price. Fast and detailed, never had a car wash really clean my car like this and on top of that the price is right. The manager (front person) is always nice and accommodating. Have special for each day and many professions like teachers and police men uber drivers too. They just added yearly membership with unlimited wash. They are open every holiday too. And long hours closing at 7pm Just simple service and to the point and well done.
