Paid for interior leather restoration plus exterior detail. Severely overpaid for both services, the leather/vinyl repairs were incomplete (they just outsource it to a crappy one-person mobile serviceman called New Creations, and charge an expensive commission) and sloppy in some parts, and the detailing missed some spots like the corner of the front grill and the side mirrors. The most important part was to get rid of the wrinkles and touch up the tired-looking seat leathers to make it look newer again, but that was not even touched, as well as couple of the tufting buttons that were missing and I asked to replace. The results were $525 (estimate was only for $350) for the repairs of about 6 small 0.5" rips and scrapes in the interior which took them 4 hours, in addition to a whole bunch of neglected requests, and $185 for a subpar detailing that missed a few spots and still left some bugs on the grills of my 72 Mark IV, after a closer inspection. Total was $800 after tax. I would leave 1.5 stars if I could, but 1 is still fine with me since I certainly won't go back there or ask New Creations to do any work in the future. read more

Had this place do the "platinum" package on my car. They did get the seats somewhat clean, but I redid them at home and got them fully clean. Same with the carpets, still had stains so I got them fully clean at home. Pretty disappointed with that. They did get the wheels looking great again. The wax job seemed ok but not great. Didn't catch his name, but when we showed up to drop the car off for a detail, he suggested a different package that better suited what we were looking for and even ended up being cheaper. The level of detail is awesome. Our car was pretty gross from pets and many outdoors outings with nothing more than a car wash vacuum for quite some time. The only thing that was a bit upsetting was that the shuttle service wasn't available when we dropped it off early in the AM, we had to call to check if the car was done (no biggie but were waiting for a call, we know for next time to just give a ring!) and the shuttle service was also just ending for the day when we found out our car was ready which was a bummer. It just seemed annoying to have paid a good amount to then find such an obvious area still not addressed. I had just returned from Southern Utah with a pretty large amount orange real estate on both the interior and exterior of my jeep. Under the hood was muddy as well. Needless to say, it pretty much looked like new by the end of the day. One thing that I didn't like....when I picked up the jeep...the matts were in a pile in the back of the jeep...I was sort of expecting the vehicle to be ready to drive away. It wasn't perfect but it was good quality. I purchased the platinum detail and also had paint chips covered. If you want perfection...you'll have to complete the last 1 or 2% yourself. Super disappointed in the total interior detail package we had at Final Touch Auto Spa. The car looked worse than it did when I dropped it off. There was dried cleaning spray everywhere. My car had two small stains on the upholstery which is why I went there in the first place for the detailing and was mostly clean otherwise. Both stains were still there when I picked it up. Huge areas were neglected completely and dusty. I would never have gone there if I had know what a piss poor job they do. The reason I am giving them 3 stars instead of 1 is because they attempted to make it right once my husband took it right back in and let them know we were not okay paying nearly $300 for a car that was returned dirty. He kept getting "oops, I must have forgotten that spot" for every area my husband pointed out to the guy that "cleaned" our car but the manager had him address the areas. I wish they had offered to give us a discount but my husband finally asked and they gave us about 20% back. Not enough to justify the dissatisfaction, hassle, and time to drive it all the way back from Ferndale but it was better than nothing. I may have tried them again if they were eager to resolve the issue without prompting but I won't be returning again. read more

I am so glad I found this place to get my car detailed. My SUV was an absolute mess inside and out and they did an amazing job on short notice as I just dropped it in hoping they would do it that day for me. I got my car back in a timely manner. It looked and smelled new again inside and out. I really respect this company as I learned they are multi-generational family owned and do a lot for the community through charity work. I think what impressed me the most is they went above and beyond and even cleaned my kids car seats. It may not seem like much but. Pros: I like Ari, he is a good person to work with. Cons: very inconsistent work. Details: I have taken two older cars into final touch. The first car came out looking immaculate. They did a top notch job. The second car I took in there took forever and it came out looking like they spent very little time on it even though I paid a premium for a top notch job. I told Ari that the job is poor. He had one of his guys buff one or two things out. I pulled it out of there very disappointed. I ended detailing the car myself and did a far better job. My conclusion is it depends who you get actually doing the detail work. The first car was done by an older guy that loved my car. The second car was done by a younger guy who did not really care about his work or my car. In the end, two very different experiences at the same place. Roll of the dice. read more

I was given an initial estimate for $280 for my crossover SUV, when I arrived and they inspected my car they said that I would need to purchase the next level up to get it to a like new condition, I gladly paid the extra $50. When I picked up my car and got home, I opened the back part of my car, and they had not wiped down, vacuumed, or cleaned the back compartment of my car at all, they had placed a bag of other stuff they've gathered in the back but that was all. I grabbed all the stuff out of the back of my car, and by then I noticed that they also had not cleaned out the middle armrest consul, so I removed all that stuff, and brought the car back, left the keys and told them to finish cleaning it, and that since I had brought it back, they could also do a wipe down of some spots they missed in the cupholder, the gearshift, and the visors. They said that because of Covid, they were no longer moving a lot of stuff around if people had personal items in the car, I understood that, but would've liked a heads up because I would've removed it in advance had I known that. They said they would call me the next day when it was ready. The next day I had to call them around 11, and they said it was ready and clean. I came by to pick it up, and the back had been cleaned, but none of the other spots I had mentioned. Since they are no longer taking customers to and from the auto shop, I had made 4 separate trips to final touch auto, and still had to take a Lysol wipe to my own car after paying $357. I brought my car in after it got keyed down the entire driver's side. Final Touch was incredibly helpful and friendly and fixed up the long scratch. They warned ahead of time that there were a few spots that went too deep to fix. I got the car back and the scratch was almost completely gone. Brought my 2017 Ford Expedition, Platinum SUV and went for the full platinum detail for $350.00. Unknown to me the vehicle had over spray from a neighbor who sprayed his cedar fence with an oil based stain covering the entire SUV. Rather than calling me and telling me they went ahead and clay barred and waxed the exterior. I got home and was furious. Was told I could take it back in and charged again to remove the overspray and then rewax. The interior was not cleaned well. Looked like a quick wipe down. Seriously!... take your car somewhere else!! The new ownership is not the same as the old Final Touch. Avoid this place like the plague!!! read more

Brought my VW Eurovan in for a full detailing. WPicked up the van and (nearly) everything looked amazing! I had to bring the van back because the seats were clearly just surface vacuumed and I had paid for full steam clean and cloth guard treatment. The side between the seat and wall was also not cleaned out. Although fitting my busy schedule in with their busy schedule was a major challenge, they were super nice and willing to make it right. The customer service level given speaks volumes. Although, it was a pain that the van was not complete the first time and had to be rescheduled and returned, their willingness to make it right, without question, was excellent. read more

Do NOT go to Final Touch Auto Spa, here is our experience. My wife took her car into Final Touch to get a quote on removing a mold situation from her car. After they started on the car, without giving us a "final quote", I tried to call in an cancel the job because we were only trying to get a price to shop around with. They told us that they had already spent 1 hour with 2 guys and it would cost around $175 for the labor so far. Being a nice guy, I understand that they already had labor put into it, so I said go ahead with the "rough quote" of $450. I know it is a very tough process to completely remove a 4 month old mold infestation, and would have not had any problems paying any amount to have a guaranteed clean car. After they said they were done cleaning it, we picked it up only to notice there was still mold, and even trash on the floor! As if they didn't even vacuum! And the smell.... If only I could show a picture of the smell. NOT appropriate for a pregnant wife, and a 6 year old. The floor mats and trunk liner were gone, and they forgot to give us the bag of stuff from the glove box too. So we took it back, only to have the guy argue and say he looked at it and there was no dirt/trash on the floor before it came back to us. They took the car yet again, only to call us a few hours later and claim it was done this time. It was not anywhere near finished, it only looked like they picked up a couple pieces of the amount of dirt/trash left behind. So we took our losses there, only to find the floor mats and the bag of glove box items were still missing. My wife picked them up later, only to have one of the employees tell her the car will never be cleansed of the mold infestation, and that she should "sell" the car. I called them and managed to get $92.50 back of the $450 they charged us for. I have had a mold situation in my grandmothers minivan before, but I took it to Bellingham Detail and Glass for only $350 after tax, and even had the outside washed too. It was a very impressive cleaning by Lee, the owner. We payed Lee at Bellingham Detail and Glass to get the finished job we were looking for. read more

Very happy with the results so I am no longer baking in my car during the summer lol. These guys are serious hagglers. We called to get the price ($249) before we made our appointment, but before they even saw the condition of our vehicle they put the heavy sell on us. They were trying to sell us on all sorts of upgrade services without even inspecting our vehicle. (If they wanted more money they should have included that in the price on the phone.) We finally had to draw the line and say,"Either honor the price you quoted on the phone or we can take our business elsewhere." So the young guy agreed to detail our car, but he kept frowning on the fact that we only wanted to spend $250 for a detailing. (We weren't asking for them to remove seats or anything tricky so the price seemed fair, we just wanted the car clean enough so we could sell it.) When we got the car back it looked clean, however it smelled like someone else's wet dog and I mean a really stinky wet dog. The machine they used clearly had been used on a car with a dirty dog and they didn't bother to clean the bristles before they started on my car. We never had a dog in this car before, but ever since I got my car back two months ago the very distinct wet dog smell is killing me. I have tried Ozium and febreeze but I can't seem to get rid of the wet dog smell. It has made it a little tricky trying to sell a car that smells like a wet dog. The only reason they get a 2 star (instead of a 1 star) is because my car looked great when I picked it up. However, this business seriously leaves something to be desired. read more

Such a great job and team!! Brought in our 02 Ram it was in rough shape. Mold scratches rust and break residue on wheels. They made it look new. BRAND new!!!! MEH. My wife and I were underwhelmed with the interior detail. Its the first one I've had done on my car so maybe mu expectations were off. I've cleaned my car before myself and it has looked much better but that takes a few hours. Yes it was thoroughly cleaned, but there were a few areas that has not been wiped down like the latch surface under the center console, a few scuffs by the sunroof. The product they used left many of the surfaces like the dashboard rather dried out looking. I had to use the 303 product I have on the dash afterwards and it looks much better now and Ill still need to do the rest of the surfaces when I get time. The cargo net in trunk was not put back but left jumbled up in the trunk, took a little time to untangle and put back on. Id classify this more of a thurough cleaning, not so much a detailing that I had in mind like using nice premium shiny products all polished looking with a nice scent maybe. Id be hesitant to bring a newer vehicle in but if you've got an older real dirty vehicle and dont want to do it yourself it might be worth it. The vehicle was parked and finished when I arrived and they had not called me it was done, maybe it was just done 5 minutes earlier or maybe it was sitting there an hour, who knows. read more

This was the second time I have gone to Final Touch, the first with my Tundra where they did a full detail, repainted the hood and top with a headlight refinish. Despite having to take it back for another go at the headlights (they faded almost immediately) I was pleased with the quality and price. This time with a valpac $100 off coupon I took a recently puchased Impreza Sport in for the Premium detail whicsh they were able to accomodate on short notice: initially I had to wait for 45 minutes for the shuttle ride home forcing a teleconference enroute which was awkward, when I picked up the car under direct sunlight it looked ok; in the garage the hood was spiderwebbed, cloudy, they missed chips on the top ( $150 extra) and the front windshield was still dirty. Calling the next morning Manager Aaron got me back in and said it would take 30 minutes...an hour later upon my inspection they had to buff the hood AGAIN. Listen the customer shouldn't have to tell these professionals how to do their job or point out defects several times. After dropping $480 for a comphrensive detail I was not even offered an apology by Ari for the inconvenience and from beginning to end the exercise felt rushed. This was not a quality experience, no quality control and weak customer service. There are several other competeitors located nearby and I would suggest patronizing them if you expect value and attention to "detail." I for one will not be back. read more

I have been very satisfied with my choice to do business with Final Touch Auto Spa in Bellingham! After finding them due to great reviews, I had some window tinting done last year. I was initially very satisfied with the finished look, but then had a few bubbles show up on my rear window. When the problem didn't clear up on its own, I ended up bringing my car back in, almost a year after the original service had been done. When I came in, they were exceedingly accommodating and I was shocked that they would still replace it for me. They offer a shuttle service to all their clients, but in this case I was able to take their loaner car (so kind!). The staff is great and they were able to accomodate my schedule every time I have visited them. They did an amazing job and I would give them a recommendation anyday. Car returned with the all-weather mats piled on top of the carpet mats on top of my garment bag containing my nice sweater. Don't know why they had to pile this stuff on top of a bag that could easily have been hung. Don't know why they could not put the mats back when they had three days to let things dry. Maybe it was because putting them back was too complicated. It took me an hour to figure out how and where they belonged. They emptied out every compartment and piled the stuff into a box but didn't clean the compartments. Had a long piece of tape on a window as a 'test'. It was still there when I picked-up the car. Guess they didn't include cleaning windows in their $350 package. I will definitely ask the Toyota dealership to use another company next time I have the car serviced. read more
