Juan and his team installed a low wooden wall on the path of my hillside and replaced the decomposed granite pathway. It was a physically difficult job, having to remove and replace hall around 100 6x6x8 beams on a steep grade. He and his team worked very hard for 3 weeks to complete the job. Compared to other companies, they've broken down the estimate to the best of their abilities (without me having to ask) while others provided one flat price for the whole project. We used this family business twice. Once to widen a driveway. They dug up the lawn, capped off the unused sprinklers, and remove the water drain. Then placed rebar and poured concrete. I did my homework and was very specific in how wide and the shape. They followed my instructions and the concrete pour was standard 4-inch thick. Seems to be holding up so far. Watch out for other contractors cheap out with thin pours. Second time I used them to demolish a pergola in the backyard. Pretty straight forward demo, haul away, and clean up. Price is fair and I like to support hard working family businesses, especially ones with strong work ethics.
