Our front yard and side gates were a disaster. Juan and his team came in and did an unbelievable job. Always punctual and worked hard until the project was done. I got 7 quotes and while Figueroa might have been more expensive than some of the other ones, they charge a little more because the quality and customer service is there! If you have any doubts, DONT! These are the guys you want on your home improvement project! read more

horrible service! the owner is a racist, and kept trying to crack jokes about my black neighbors. would not recommend

We had a large landscape/hardscape needed to redo most of an outdated front and back yard. After shopping around for several quotes, Juan and his team came in at the best overall pricing. He was timely and responsive during the entire negotiation. Juan and his team were great throughout the project, starting from an intense demo to the aesthetics of finishing touches. We had to get a ton of brick out from the backyard, which was more than anticipated, but they finished as timely as possible. They were organized and concise through each stage of the process. Communication and professionalism were solid throughout as well. Overall, my family is happy with the look and quality of our yards. We will continue working with Juan and his team for future needs and highly recommend them for quality work at competitive pricing. Thank you, Juan and team! read more

The price quoted to remove a very large tree was very reasonable compared to others. Juan had great communication regarding the project and he and his workers were efficient, cleaned up at the end of each day and made sure my gate was secured for the dog. I would definitely use him again. read more

A truly amazing company! The owner, Juan, is highly knowledgable and clearly an expert at landscaping. He was able to offer creative and practical solutions for our yard and was very accommodating when we wanted to make any adjustments. They are able to handle any kind of landscaping need from design to planting trees, sod, irrigation systems, patios, pavers, you name it. And they have access to wonderful plants. When we were looking into large fern pines for our new backyard, Juan was able to send us excellent options from his contacts, much better than anything we were able to find ourselves. And, his prices are very reasonable. This is the company you want to hire! read more

Juan and his team installed a low wooden wall on the path of my hillside and replaced the decomposed granite pathway. It was a physically difficult job, having to remove and replace hall around 100 6x6x8 beams on a steep grade. He and his team worked very hard for 3 weeks to complete the job. Juan was very accommodating, handling a couple of changes along the way. The pricing was very competitive and I am very pleased with the results. read more

I own a challenging property with a steep, tiered downslope into a canyon. I need significant brush removal prior to fire season. I first contracted with Figueroa Landscaping several years ago and they did a great job. Ever since I reach out for them to do the job and they also do a quality landscape reset on my overall property around the house. They keep mostly the same crew and the work is done quickly and respectful of my property. Juan is easy to work with and his team does what he commits to. It is not always easy to trust a service provider, but Figueroa is the exception. They definitely get my recommendation. read more

Excellent service and price, I would definitely recommend. I submitted quote request to several companies and Figueroa responded quickly and with the best price. They came at 8a to remove two trees and were done by 10a. read more

Very satisfied with how our backyard turned out. I received 3 quotes and Figueroa Landscaping was by far the most reasonable and responsive. Compared to other companies, they've broken down the estimate to the best of their abilities (without me having to ask) while others provided one flat price for the whole project. With Figueroa, I knew how much $$ would go towards hauling trash, sod, paver stones, etc. They were responsive throughout and finished the job within a matter of days. I liked them enough to hire them for another small job -- chopping down the big tree you see in the back. Will likely hire them again for future home projects! read more

Amazing customer service and quality work. Our yard was a literal jungle hellscape and they transformed it into a calm clean mulch covered dream. They went above and beyond. It took just two days for the magic to happen. All workers were polite and friendly; and Juan, project leader, really listened to what I wanted and translated that into a plan. He offered suggestions and ideas, which was great because I was completely clueless. I highly recommend them. A real value; the price was right, super reasonable. I'm so glad I found them. You will be too. read more

We had a great experience working with Juan and his team. Our backyard needed a lot of work. The project included removing a lot of dirt to level the ground, removing some concrete, adding a small retaining wall and paver border, installing sod, gravel, and plants and making adjustments to the irrigation system. We got quotes from a few different companies; Juan was the first to respond and stop by to make the estimate, had the best price, and overall was best with communication. He listened to all of our requirements and made sure he understood what we wanted. He kept us well-informed of when they could start, how long it would take, and any changes that came up along the way. He and his team made great progress each day and even helped us with a few smaller requests as the project progressed. Now our backyard looks exactly how I imagined it! Juan even followed up with us after finishing the project to make sure everything was good and the sod was doing well. I would definitely recommend Figueroa Landscaping to anyone looking to transform their outdoor space! read more

Found Figueroa Landscaping on Yelp when sending out a quote request to a number of landscapers. Juan was fast at responding and it wasn't a general response. He is great at communicating and came the same day for fair quote. He got the job and came back within 2 days to do the job. We had our 3 palm trees trimmed. They were courteous to the property and cleaned up after themselves. I appreciated the speediness and communication. We will definitely use again and will refer to others. read more

I had a great experience Figueroa Landscaping. They installed vinyl fencing on either side of my backyard. I watched them make sure that it was level and the right height from the ground. Juan, in particular, kept me informed and made sure that I was happy with the work. They cleaned up after every work day and carted off the debris. I could not be any happier with them and their customer service. The results are great! I have had lots of compliments. When I did pricing, their bid was comparable and their bid included the gate. The quality of their materials was very good, too. read more

Called Figueroa Landscaping to help remove some trees. I needed the work done in a short time frame, and Juan was great about keeping me informed of what was going on, gave a fair quote and his crew did the work quickly and cleaned everything up. Our front and back yards were really overgrown and looked horrible. Figueroa Landscaping came to clear it out and remove two trees... now it looks fantastic! Juan gave us a good quote and finished the job all in the same day. Highly recommend!

We used this family business twice. Once to widen a driveway. They dug up the lawn, capped off the unused sprinklers, and remove the water drain. Then placed rebar and poured concrete. I did my homework and was very specific in how wide and the shape. They followed my instructions and the concrete pour was standard 4-inch thick. Seems to be holding up so far. Watch out for other contractors cheap out with thin pours. Second time I used them to demolish a pergola in the backyard. Pretty straight forward demo, haul away, and clean up. Price is fair and I like to support hard working family businesses, especially ones with strong work ethics. They have followed through on all calls and text messages; honest and no games; I like that. read more

Requested quote to have trees trimmed in my property through Yelp. Juan responded right away and came by to discuss job and give me an estimate. Was getting other quotes so did not respond immediately. Juan was very responsive in touching base. I decided to give them the job. Finished the job as discussed, cleaned up after the job and left my property in the same condition as when they started. Very happy with the work and outcome. Will use them again. read more

Outstanding work! I live over 100 miles from an empty rental unit that needed work. Juan responded within minutes of my posting and said that this was "No Problem." That day he stopped by the unit to scope out the work and sent back pics over the phone. We worked thru what I needed to be done, and he responded with a written proposal the next day. I had a written proposal in hand before I was even contacted by others in the area. The others all requested that I be there in person to walk thru the project which in my case would have been very difficult. Figueroa Landscaping finished the work quickly, professionally and they left no mess. I will say this about Figueroa Landscaping that they are very responsive, and will usually respond within minutes. Kudos to Juan and the team for staying on top of the job. read more

We bought a house recently with a big yard, lots of trees and bushes. The front- and backyard wasn't well maintained, so there was a lot to do, from palm tree and tree trimming, removing ivy from trees, cutting bushes, trees, etc. We requested quotes from several companies and I had them going through the yard. Juan and his Dad were the ones which won me over with their straightforward approach, flexible timeline and a very reasonable price. They did such a great job, can't recommend them enough. We can say that we found our "forever" garden & landscaping service and we will continue to work with them. read more
