Kirby Ice House - Great place for HH our group met there recently and was given great drink service

There are always a ton of people here, and it's the kind of place where you'll probably run into five friends you didn't even know were going to be there. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a smoking section, and dogs are allowed. The whole place is pretty open, so it can definitely get a little hot when the weather is hot, but that's just part of the setup. The staff has always been friendly, quick, and attentive, even when the place is packed. Drinks are good and the bar is very well maintained and professionally run. They do have a food truck, but I can't really recommend it based on my experience. When I walked up to order, another customer stopped me and told me not to because they had already been waiting almost two hours for their food. Luckily, Kirby Ice House allows you to bring in outside food, so you can order a pizza, have someone bring food over, or grab something nearby instead. Parking can get a little tight during the bigger games, but most of the time it's manageable. They also check IDs at the entrance, so be prepared for that when you walk in. Overall, it's just a really fun, social place to watch a game, grab some drinks, bring your dog, and hang out with a big group. It gets crowded, but that's also part of what makes it fun.

I love this location. It's huge and has plenty of parking. Went here for the FIFA championship…read moregame. There was a huge screen and sets of TVs in various sections throughout. There's no bad seat in the house. If you're coming here for any kind of championship sports event, come early and get your seat cause it gets packed. You also avoid waiting in line for ID check. We got there 2-3 hours early, ordered drinks and ordered food from the food trucks. The taco truck's street tacos were so good, but it was a 40-45 minute wait that day...and it was SO HOT out. You get a buzzer, so there's no point in waiting by the truck. Might be quicker on other regular days, though. The burger food truck was quicker, but I wasn't in the mood for it. There's a variety of seating for whatever you prefer - picnic table, iron table, bar table, and cushioned patio lounge chairs. The servers checked in often and brought the drinks out. There's a free water station with cups. Restrooms are down one end. Ironically, on the game day, the women's restroom line moved quicker than the men's! Lol. Great place to hang out and catch a game!

I called back again to make sure there wasn't a minimum or anything, and they confirmed my reservation. When I showed up on game day, I walked into the full bar that clearly had no tables and went up to a man with a Decoy shirt on who said they don't do reservations. I told him I had just spoken to someone yesterday, and he "you have wrong information, there's no way we can do reservations with this many people - you probably called the corporate office (it's the number listed on their website so that made no sense)" and was very dismissive of me and not apologetic whatsoever. It's totally understandable that reservations wouldn't be possible on a World Cup day. Seems like the staff are not all on the same page, or I was misled to just get my group into the bar (which has happened at other bars during the tournament so it's not unheard of). Had to take my three nieces elsewhere at the last minute and don't imagine I'll be returning after that experience.

I stopped in on a Friday evening for a night cap. The bar is a pretty decent size and they have their own parking lot. They have a large patio out front and there was plenty of seating indoors as well. It's a sports bar so there were a lot of TVs throughout. They also have arcade games including Skee Ball and Pop-A-Shot. The menu had beer, wine, and cider, but they do have a full bar. I didn't see any specialty cocktails on the menu so I just asked the bartender, Marc to make me a gin based cocktail. Marc came up with his version of a Corpse Reviver. It had a tart, yet fruity twist to it. I can't recall all of the ingredients he used, but I liked it. I also had a Gimlet which was really good. Marc informed me about The Railyard shot special. Any time a train rolls by, you can purchase a vodka based shot for $2. I'm not much of a shot person, but I went ahead and ordered a White Tea shot. It was really good. Everyone in the bar was friendly and I appreciated the diversity of the clientele. Super chill place, just as a dive should be.
