Great cooked food options, Awesome customer service, Clean and nice location, Conveniently located right off the highway

Let me start off by saying the store is a good place to shop. That's not my problem. I already have a full time job and wanted to work here part time for extra change. Introduced myself to assistant manager Rene in person and also over the phone, few weeks ago really great personable guy. January 29 called in to speak to Rene, informed him that i filled out for a few postions they have openings for. He let me know that they are hiring and was happy to foward my application to the hiring manager Rubio, and call in next day to speak to him. Fast forward to January 30, called in to speak to store manager Rubio, and was met immediately with rudeness he was very abrupt , kept cutting me off while explaining the reason I was calling in to speak with him. Mr.Rubio was like "who is this", who are you, and no we are not hiring. I politely told him your assistant manager Rene told me to speak with you. "Talk to him then, because im not hiring". I said ok left it at that. Case in point is if you are being treated like that over the phone, imagine behind closed doors, directly under management with the same attitude. Manager to manager the attitude is not warranted to lose potential employers because of disrespect. Gotta do better. read more

I had a very disappointing experience. I bought fish here and paid extra for a premium pack (almost $23), expecting good quality. Unfortunately, as soon as I opened it, there was a terrible smell--like it had already gone bad. The odor was so strong it filled my entire kitchen while cooking. It was impossible to eat. I had just purchased it, so this was extremely frustrating and a complete waste of money. This is actually the second time this has happened, which makes it even more concerning. My recommendation: always smell your items before leaving the store, especially fresh products like fish. Very disappointed with the quality control. read more

Taco Tuesday at the Restaurant inside Fiesta Marta delicious . Seasoned and Delicious . The price is reasonable and affordable....Yummy

The store is clean, large variety of ethnic spices and foods. The pricing is average on meats and produce. The main issue with store are the employees at Pepe's Kitchen (the restaurant in the back). If you're not a native Spanish speaker, they treat you as if you're bothering them and are quite rude when fulfilling your order. I've been several times and that seems to be standard practice for that restaurant. At this point, the food isn't worth the poor service. read more

Fiesta your eyes on how good Barbi looks here, when we come to this location usually for the amazing roasted corn just around the corner at Jose's. It's otherworldly. But anyway, we do love coming here. Yes, Fiesta is expensive, but they have a lot of amazing Mexican and other Latin American goods, imported, authentic, delicious. It's an excellent store, that's for sure. This is one of the better locations too. Service maybe only is a 3, but stock is a 4 or 5 and authenticity is 5 out of 5. And when you factor in that it's next to the best mexican corn in Texas (right outside at Jose's), and close to the best paleteria in USA (nearby Michoacan Autentica), it's easily 4 stars at least. read more

Tonight I had to come to the fiesta looking for popsicles . The ones that are usually only out during the summer and come in red mess bags . I needed popsicles for someone who was sick , requesting a special kind Well I couldn't find them anywhere but when I got to the fiesta the manager I asked at the front actually stopped what he was doing , made a phone call and the rifled me to follow him to the. A back at the store, where he proceeded to ask an employee to assist me, and had to dig out the three bags of popsicles from behind a wall of merchandise, with a smile on his face, and handed them over to me and told me to have a great night, and that was it, and I am truly grateful for his hospitality and his, great care he took with helping me with my mundane problem with a great attitude , and nice smile ! Typically I would never suggest shopping at fiesta. I feel like it's kind of overpriced and nobody ever seems to want to help you, but it seems as though they got new management and they are more than willing and able to help you with any reasonable request read more

It has been a LOONG time since I'd been to Fiesta. The traffic in this area can be a nightmare. That's part of the reason why I haven't been here in so long. But, I was in the area for another reason and decided to stop in, as I was looking for a very specific vegetable (white "Swiss" chard) that no other store locally seems to carry. Sure enough, I found what I was looking for! But I didn't find a whole lot more. Used to be Fiesta had truly competitive prices. Not so any more. I pay less for many things at my local HEB. Used to be Fiesta had an incredible selection of truly ethnic foods. Not so any more. Yes, some ethnic foods are very well represented, but it's not across-the-board diversity like it used to be years ago. There are still some very unique choices in the produce department, but the seafood department is now limited and expensive. Less to choose from in the actual grocery aisles, too. I shook my head in dismay as I walked and saw how little there was to choose from. Most of what Fiesta has I have no problem locating at HEB, Kroger or any other grocery store. Why drive all the way here for stuff I can find cheaper someplace else? Parking lot needs some desperate repairs. Only one check out line open when I went. Disappointed. When I'm craving Swiss chard again, I may come back, but otherwise this was more of a miss than a hit. read more

I have not been inside a Fiesta in 25 years. Last week, I was in a hurry, and turned into a center with a grocery store to pick up what I needed. I was inside, starting down the aisle with my basket, when I realized the aisle was much wider than I was used to, the place was spotless, and I looked around to try and figure out what grocery store I had gone in to!! It was Fiesta!! What a pleasant surprise! I noticed lots of products on the neat shelves that I can't find at HEB or Kroger. I got the two things I stopped for, but the next time I need groceries, I'll be coming back to Fiesta to check out their meat and produce. read more

It bas been 2 times already where I purchased milk from there, which I don't normally do I get it from Walmart. But since Fiesta is on the way home I stop there. But these past 2 times the milk I've gotten has already been spoiled. Even with the date being so dar ahead. My kids were eating cereal and they told me the milk tasted funny, I smelled it and right off the bat it gave me a nasty smell and I just purchased it. This place is already expensive as is but selling things that are already spoiled is just plain wrong. read more

I wish I could leave a 0 but unfortunately that's not even an option. The first few times I would come in the store to buy things lots of cash registers are closed and there is only 3 open while there is a lot of customers waiting. To give it the benefit of the doubt I went in another time. Today I came in to buy some cheese, very expensive by the way. But it's not just the cheese, everything there is overpriced it's ridiculous. I went to check out, and to my surprise, there was a long line going around the store to 2 cash registers. Horrible customer service, do not go to this location if you don't like wasting your time and money. read more

20+ minute long wait to be checked out every single time you come to this store. The manager is so dense he always says his employees are calling out. If they're calling out that bad he needs to take control of that. I literally only force myself to come here to get Tres Leches when people are requesting one for their birthday but if you're in a rush find somewhere else. Manager is it smart at all. During covid he forced everyone to wear masks but didn't care ALL his grocery carts and disgusting stuff when you wrap your hand around it and there are not wipes for it. Wear a mask but sure push that disgusting ass dirty cart around. This place is a mess the aisles are not sorted out in an efficient manner, I've been here several times and still cannot find things. As I'm finishing this my husband has been in line for well over 25 minutes now. All for a stupid cake. Not worth it. read more

5 stars because I don't care how busy they are management is smart enough to staff right! I swear they have about 20 registers and at least half of them are staffed with people working diligently if not more. The store is always clean. Staff working the floor the help you. They have a lot of imported ethics items that you can find anywhere else. The bakery is amazing! Fruit and veggies are always so fresh, good and priced right. The meat department is okay. I really love how you hardly every have to wait here. The randalls by my house on champion forest. My god expect to always wait ! If 0 star can be chosen, I'd give this supermarket 0 star. Everyone thinks prices of Fiesta is very competitive. But based on my experience, it's not at all. I went Fiesta this morning and paid $7.49 for a big bottle of Zatarain's crawfish boil spices. Sadly I found out Walmart and HEB sell $4.22 for the identical item. Also, Fiesta has very bad policy : you can return or exchange the items you buy. What a ripoff! Do NOT buy from Fiesta. read more

Great customer service and excellent pricing on meat and produce. I really like all the Fiesta Marts. They sell every part of the pig - I've gone there to pick up meat to make chicharrones. They move a lot of produce and I always seem to find something I've never seen. Like flo de loroco, today. And you can grab a bacon wrapped hotdog on the way out at the cart outside. read more

This place is absolutely terrible. There are fruit flys everywhere in the produce section. Mostly due to expired fruits and veggies that they have displayed. The bags of oranges, the tomatoes, and strawberry's specifically were covered in mold and deterred me from buying anything in that section. The sea food area has a fish take by its entrance. All I could focus on were the dead fish lying upside down at the bottom of the tank, while dozens of now contaminated fish swam above them. I didn't even make it into the rest of the store. Those first two sections of the market made me run out the store an swear to myself never to return. I couldn't convince myself to spend my hard earned money on food that is stored in such a filthy environment , let alone feed it to my family. My advise, take your business elsewhere! read more

I love going here for the produce. It's like twice as cheap as going to another grocery store. The aspect of the store that grosses me out is the seafood department. It smells absolutely rancid. I check it out sometimes, but the last time I was there, it smelled like a bait shop on a hot day. The smell was so bad that I couldn't even walk into that part of the store. It terrifies me that they sell their own brand of sushi. It is a great store for produce and spices, but be wary when selecting meats. Don't buy Mexican sushi..... read more

I have given a lot of thought as to how I feel about this Fiesta. It's the closest grocery store to my house, so it's great if I'm in a pinch, if I want cheap produce or like Tina said, looking for a selection of international items. The $1/slice cakes ($2/slice of tres leches) on the weekends are pretty decent as well. The country DJ that croons absurdly loud by the doors is entertaining. The stand out front selling elote smells incredible and will one day entice me to purchase a cup. All in all, I'd say it's A-OK...except when it comes down to their meat... Ugh...a while back I bought some ground turkey. I should've known better b/c it wasn't as pink as most ground turkey. Anyway, it absolutely reeked when I opened the package and was consequently, made into a fetid batch of cat food. This past weekend I thought I'd get over my phobia of their meat department and give the ground turkey another shot. Um...no. Yet again, it was not pink and there was...mold growing on it? Fuzzy white stuff. Disgusting. They really need to do something about the temperatures they refrigerate their meat at, or check it more often for spoilage. I will likely never eat the meat here, but for non-perishable packaged goods and cheap produce in a pinch, it will suffice. I still think that the HEB up 249 at Louetta has a better selection of produce. read more

Illiterate employees from the cashiers to the managers! Poor customer service! I went to buy produce and noticed that the apples were on sale, so I bought them. However, once I got to the cashier to pay, the price was not the same an in the paper above the apples from which I picked my apples. I told the cashier she called the manager and the manager came up with a sorry excuse. I went with her and showed her the sign and the apples. She attempted to make the excuses: it's past the sale date/ which it was not the sign clearly stated the current date, it's the produce worker error/ which is not my fault hence I am a customer, then finally she said look here is the correct price and sign/she went to another area in the produce section of that sale 3 for 1. Then I told her but I picked them from the other section that the sign showed 7 for 1, she proceeded to tell me that that doesn't matter. So I left my whole groceries with the cashier and took my hard earn money else where that honors their customers. read more

This chain of stores was sold to new owners a couple of years ago and since has increased the prices on most of their produce and other items that are way over priced compared to other grocery stores close by. It used to be the best prices for fresh Mexican and SA products but now the produce ages on the bins and is not as nice. The bakery has dropped popular pastries and breads in favor of an all Latino selection. Food safety practices are not well adhered to for freshness such as pre-slicing and plastic wrapping popular sale cheeses that appear melted together in these packages. And the staff and manager refuse to fresh slice it when asked. There is often turmoil in the parking lot which I find an unnecessary danger for this senior citizen. my car was damaged in the handicap parking in front of the store by a hit and run truck driver. No camera footage was available for the police to see per the then manager. I don't feel safe inside or outside this once favorite store. read more

I bought 2 catfish and one drum. I asked the young man to fillet the catfish and to cut the drum into smaller pieces. When i got home I was going to separate the fish into freezer bags for later. My catfish look like it was ripped off the bone instead of being cut off the bone. The young man must have torn and ripped the other side of the fish because it was replaced with a huge fillet from the a whole different cat fish. I looked at the drum and it was f$@&ed up to. I was furious at this point. If your employees can't cut fish properly moved them the the floor. I returned the next day and the supervisor rectified the problem. I was satisfied. read more

First of all, heaven forbid if you have to pee before you're done shopping, you are required to have a current receipt to use the restroom. Second, went to purchase a money order at the courtesy booth. The charge for money orders was almost 3 times what Kroger and HEB charges for Money Orders. We've enjoyed shopping here in the past but I think we will stick to supermarkets that trust their shoppers enough not to restrict their restrooms. read more

Horrible website with zero information. Rude uniformed people. They seldom answer their phones. They don't list what they stock and so you have to drive there to see for yourself. They have no self-checkouts and typically only one register is open and there re no registers if you have 5 or 19 items so you stand in line with your two items behind those that have 50. Fiesta always has pretty good prices on their meat. The seafood section smells like the ocean.... They have a huge selection of seafood though. They're international food is pretty extensive not just Mexican and American it like a world market. read more
