Taco Tuesdays are the bomb. Order the al pastor tacos, add avocado, and you'll be stuffed! For a fast food Mexican place, El Famous Burrito is where it is at. I know its not "authentic" but I haven't had one bad experience...except for the quesadillas. They were extremely confused when I asked for steak on a quesadilla. read more

I have come here very frequently over the past 3 years. My family is always excited to go and we are always beyond satisfied with our meals. Pricing is fair for the quality of the food. Service is always attentive and reasonable. I always recommend fiesta burrito. read more

The BEST burritos! Love the steak! I could eat here 3 times a day! The staff is friendly, clean place and plenty of seating. Even when it's busy your order is ready pretty quick read more

This place is right by the DMV so I stopped in and got a chicken quesadilla ..not my typical order at a Mexican restaurant but whatever lol. Ordered the giant size with a bottle of water and it came out to $12 bucks .. I usually base restaurants on their type of meat. It was a good portion and very filling. It came with sour cream and guac n salsa . The food came out very fast which was good. However the chicken was the typical shredded chicken I've had at a late night fast food Mexican restaurant . It was decent but not my favorite. Over all a good joint to catch a quick bite and the service was good. I just feel for the price the chicken that I prefer is the grilled and diced up chicken if I'm paying that price. I'd definitely come back though and try their steak . . That should be interestingggg muahahahahahah lol jk. read more

Fiesta Burrito - Giant Quesadilla - Mexican Near Me - Naperville, Illinois

Ain't been to Burt Loc yet? Get your newbie ass over here and scream HOLA!!! They've been an institution for Napervillians since Hobson Video was still open. Who can forget the days of their old establishment that had pictures of the food all over the place, colorful signs selling phone cards, and toy machines with meaningless garbage filled on the inside. With their new location, which is only across the street from the original, they've got a lot more space to work with. There's so much to love. They have a great beer selection. Bohemia (a favorite) is always readily available. Being called Burrito Loco, you should get a burrito on your first visit. A taco would suffice. They've got a great selection of meant that includes the staples and protein choices like barbacoa (shredded beef), carnitas (shredded pork), cabeza (head meat), sesos (brain), tripas (small intestine), and even lengua (tongue). The Posole is pretty good, something you may not typically expect to order. From the Ala Carte side their Tortas, Huaraches, Tosdas (especially the ceviche), and even the Gorditas are all really good. Go adventurous on these, throw some barbacoa on a huarache or some carnitas on your torta. They've always got horchata on hand, which is my drink of choice (if I'm not drinkin' beer). Burrito Loco is a place I'm happy to have located just down the road. It's pretty authentic and should certainly be considered before you consider Americanized places like T-Bell or On The Border. read more

Other Yelpers weren't screwing around when they said the chimichanga is the size of your head. Doesn't matter how big or small, it's the size of your head no doubt. And delicious! I had the chimichanga suiza (with salsa and cheese) and it more than filled my tummy. I brought it back to work and chowed down. About 3/4 done, my tummy screamed "NO MAS!" so the last bit went in the trash. Service was fast! I wasn't waiting in line behind anyone, but I got my meal before I was able to finish writing a text message. The lady working there seemed annoyed when I asked the difference between suiza and a regular chimichanga. Look, this isn't Mexico City, and I'm clearly a gringa, so why get your pantalones in a bunch lady? read more

No location across the street from the old one. Love it. Oh, how I wish I knew about this place when I lived in Naperville, and not 2 states away. I had a Milanesa Taco on a corn tortilla and a single enchilada with beef. The enchilada was fairly spicy. Also, I haven't had milanesa since I was in Argentina, and this one was good. The new location is clean, big, with tons of seating. Try everything on the menu, it will take you months. Also, open until 3 AM Friday and Saturday! read more

Taco Tuesday is awesome, got 7 tacos with chips and guac for under $13. The wife and I go here often and will continue to do so. Pros: Cheap, Fast, tastes good (guac for sure) Con: Pepsi, everytime I get the steak I feel it is dry (stick w/ chicken) read more

I ordered a Chimichanga Suzia !! Omg it big enought for 2 people to share. It was pretty good food! Impressed by taste and cost! Definitely would go back there read more

This place is not closed. They moved across the street into the old Hollywood Video space. The food is very solid for Cheap Chicago style Mexican. In general, I stick to their breakfast items. They do these very well & the price is always right! read more

Love this place. I live in the neighborhood and it's my first choice when I don't feel like cooking. The restaurant isn't anything fancy, but the food is delicious. They also have a decent selection for vegetarians. read more

I happily live around the corner from this place. We visit frequently and have never had any real complaints. Its not fancy, but service is fast and friendly, and the food is pretty good. Thsy have a few vegetarian options, which makes it a great choixe for us. All in all, i recommend it if you are in the area and hungry. read more

Did not enjoy my $10 taco salad. Barely any chicken at all. Mostly beans. No chips and salsa for my dine in. Guy sweeping floor while I'm eating. Totally gross no way would I go back. Not the money. read more

This place seems to be hit or miss. I've eaten here probably 6 - 8 times now and I can say, it's a crap shoot. One time I'll walk away licking my fingers, the next time I'll want to wash them with gasoline to get the smell of meat off my hands. Let me elaborate... It seems they either season their meat perfectly or not at all. These last couple times I felt like I was just chewing on raw meat thrown in a pan and browned. It just lacked that flavor the meat/seasons should carry. The main reason they are receiving three stars is for their portions. Even the baby burrito is enough for a grown man who likes to eat. Add the dinner including the rice and beans and I'm full for a day! It also seems their ingredients are fresh, just kind of bland. If you want a large meal that is average at best, stop by. If you want smaller portions with tons of flavor and cooked to perfection, there are tons of other places in Aurora to try. read more

I recently ate here for the first time, mainly because of their hours. The menu is gigantic and was a little overwhelming. I settled on a steak burrito which was ready to go within five minutes. The service was impressive, the staff were quick to greet and take food orders. The steak burrito was average, my only gripe being that the meat was overcooked. I plan on coming back though since there seemed to be a ton of relatively inexpensive dishes and combos. read more

1st time here and my Wife got the nachos bad bad, it had canned cheese like From 7-11. Got the flour beef tacos, ok only had lettuce on them, no Cheese really. Lots of better Mexican food around here. read more

This place is legit...it's not fancy but space to eat, good service and the food is awesome!

I went here for a Pastor burrito in mid june, 2013. The burrito was awful. It was worse tasting - but similar - to bottled sauce. Go to taco bell, it's better tasting. No, I'm not a fan of Taco bell either but it's better than this place. Really. read more

This place is DELICIOUS!! One of the best Mexican food place out in the suburbs! My favorite are the steak sopes. When you stop by don't forget to try them.. And hi 5 to their awesome customer service.. Always nice and attentive.. read more

I actually liked this cheap little Mexican Joint. I wouldn't get the Steak Torta again because it's a little more saucy than I'm used to, but I like every other item on the menu. I also like the fact that I can have a quick beer with my meal while I watch TV. It's not a fancy place where you're trying to get the most authentic Mexican food around. It's a place to get some good tasting quick Mexican style food, maybe watch a game (in spanish ;-) ) and enjoy a beer. read more

I come here mostly for breakfast. I love their huevos rancheros and beef stew. Many selection of menu items and food is consistently good.

Great local place. I really like the tacos done street style. Reminds me of LA. Mmmmm. The corn is good too. Whole family likes it. Only drawback is once in a while the meal is just not right. Need a little more consistent from the kitchen. Only tea it's a 4 star. read more

Great food, clean place and it's so close to home! Our favorite is the carne asada dinner but everything else we've tried has been excellent. The churros could be better but we've only ordered them later in the evening and they have been kind of hard each time. Either way, highly recommend! read more

Loved the veggie burrito and the carnitas tacos! Absolutely amazing place! The burrito was very filling. Will visit this establishment again

As your average food-loving nocturnal Chicagoan, there is one thing above all else that I will always settle for (and occasionally crave): terrible Mexican food. I've been all over this country, and nowhere else can you find Mexican as awesomely bad as right here. If it's filled with an unidentifiable meat product, dripping with salty oils, and served with free chips and salsa, I'm a happy camper. With that being said, I won't bother to write a lengthy review of the food here. It's really, really hard to screw up Bad Mexican, and this place serves it right in the middle of the road. It's not somewhere I'd go when I'm drunk at 3 AM, but it's not a ridiculous cardboard farce like Besa Mi Taco and it's ilk. I ordered the Bistec a la Mexicana; it was ready fast enough, and the serving size was ample. Unfortunately, they really skimped on the rice and beans. The steak dish was tasty, not overdone, and had lots of spice to it, without being more "hot" than flavorful. Unfortunately, the rice was very bland, and really seemed like I was just eating plain rice that someone had throw some food coloring into. The real dealbreaker was the absolute lack of free chips and salsa. WTF is that? So, that's that. Very "meh." But why the one star? The staff. Yeah, I know they get paid a very crappy wage to do a very crappy job that I would rather have to live behind a dumpster than suffer through, but I'm pretty sure I'm handing them money form my pocket, in an economic time when eating out isn't a very cost-effective thing to be doing. If I'm going to crack my wallet open for you, I want you to at least smile at me when you hand me my food like the white kids in the McDonald's commercials. Observe: As I stepped up to the counter, I was greeted with the site of the eldest employee leaning against a cooler (she was the only one wearing a uniform shirt, must have been the manager), and two younger employees wearing headphones and playing a game on an iPod, laughing at hitting each other. Yes, behind the counter. The girl who greeted me and took my order could not have been more than 14 years old, so I assume the manager couldn't get a babysitter, and just has her kid come down and play "restaurant" for a few hours to keep her busy. She was pleasant enough, and was able to get through my transaction without any hassles. I sat down and waited for my food, and watched as the two girls with the iPod continued screwing around, screaming with laughter and obscenities, while the manager just stared at them, half-asleep. Now, I'm no stranger to Sailor Speak (having invented a few of the words myself), but I'm pretty sure swearing loudly while customers are present (or ever) is against every company's conduct policy (with the exception of the Curse of the Day hotline, which may not count as it is a telephone service). When my food was ready, it was literally tossed onto the front counter, and my order was shouted across the room. Standard fair for Bad Mexican, so I can't complain there. I ate my meal while continuing to watch the circus show behind the counter unfold. The girls temporarily moved to a table in the seating area and continued their shenanigans there, but went back behind the counter pretty quickly, where they began to throw things at each other, and the other employees, including THROUGH THE KITCHEN WINDOW where the food is prepared. After a bit, I noticed that they were throwing coins that they'd fished out of the tip jar. Seriously. They were throwing their tip money at each other. The manager tried a couple of times to get them to stop, but her heart just wasn't in it. Even the cooks looked like the was the 12th time today they had been made to suffer through this. After one particular attempt, one of the girls picked up a crescent wrench (from God knows where) and threatened (jokingly) to beat the manager with it. You gotta remember, this isn't even like in a back hallway or break room or something, this is AT THE FRONT COUNTER, directly facing all of the customers. As I was finishing my meal (thank God) one of the girls made a purposefully loud comment about "this creeper starin' at us" while her back was turned, referring to the fact that I had been watching them this whole time. Apparently she didn't think there was any sort of show going on up there. I put on my coat, walked up to the front counter and took the owner's business card, and left. Guess who's getting a link to this review emailed to him? read more

The restaurant has a nice location with ample parking. The restaurant is also clean inside and out. It is not so busy, and I was able to order quickly, and the food was served quickly as well. I just got a burrito because I am not really too hungry to order more and I felt like the burrito would be enough for me. The burrito has a nice portion and it looks good. After taking my first bite, that is when I realized that the burrito does not taste good just like how it looks, and it is the opposite because it tastes so different, like the overall flavor was not really my type. It somehow tastes good at some point, but I can definitely say that it is not the best. I seldom go in here, so I do not really know much about their food, and I kind of thought that I had just ordered the wrong food. The service here is really nice, and so is the ambiance. They have a wide menu with a variety of options, and prices are reasonable. I still wanted to eat here, but definitely not anytime soon. I would also definitely order something different, skipping the burrito. read more

We're new to the neighborhood and we checked out this place. We've been here four times and no big complains. Burritos are okay, but the crispy tripas are awesome. This is why we come here. We started using their punchcard, but we forgot to get it punch on our previous trip. I asked the cashier if its okay to get it punched for the trip before but he refused. We just spent $50 and have consistently been spending at least $35 on each visit. Well, they're not worried about customer satisfaction so we will try to find other places as a replacement. read more

I wasn't expecting much from this strip mall, neon lit restaurant that's delightfully close to our house, but boy, was I mistaken. The food is hot, fresh, fast, plentiful, and delicious! I ordered a Chile relleno and elote with a ginormous horchata and EVERYTHING was so good. The elote was insanely flavorful without being spicy, the chile was perfectly fried and STUFFED with cheese, and the creamy, cinnamon-y horchata was perfect to wash down all that food. The husband got two steak tacos and a burrito and the burrito portions are INSANE. He loved everything, too. It's open late which is clutch here in Naperville, and the service was quick and friendly, even when the hubs asked idiot questions about the difference between rice and elotes (WHAT?!). The place was bumpin at 10:30 on a weeknight so I assume the secret's out, but in case you haven't, get there now! read more

Good food! Now that the wicked witch is gone! Man she was rude! The new staff treats me like a civilian.. Thanks guys!

Great steak tacos, freshly made guacamole, and cute senoritas!

Horrible! The food is in small portions and is okay, but the cheap mexicans is what ticked me off! I could not believe that I had 4, yes FOUR TIMES IN A ROW where they OVERCHARGED ME. I was mad, because I also did not recieve items I ordered. Don't you dare ask for a water cup with your over-priced meal, they charged me a soda for that...I no longer visit this place but get a better deal and food at El Burrito in Lisle, because they do not rip me off, give me free chips and realize that I understand the stay they say in Spanish behind my back. This place as been overcharging the rich section of Napervilel for too long. read more

This is about as good a Burrito as you can find in the suburbs. On par with El Furro and El Famous in Hillside, and Taqueria and Taco Burrito Palace in Chicago. Definately better than any other place in the area. There is a very broad menu....just about anything you like, they will have it. Portions are large, quality is....well, what do you expect it's fast Mexican food. They also serve breakfast. I'll drive past 3-4 other Burrito places just to get here. read more

Great Mexican fooooood:p need to try their hot carrots,

Really good food. Chicken and steak tacos outstanding! Clean and spacious. Reasonable service but a HUGE let down in having to buy chips and salsa. I stopped because I was out there and in the mood for a chips and salsa but not in the mood to drop a little extra dime to be charged when the place just up the street provides them at the table gratis. I'd go back but usually if I go Mexican, its because I'm craving chips/salsa and too many places in and out of Chicagoland provide them so it would take something special to dance at the fiesta Burrito once again. read more
