Carne Asada Burrito Dinner
Ariana N.

Pork burrito: Contains an interesting mixture of saucey pork and peas and rice and lettuce. It was not spicy at all, a bit messy but solid burrito and definitely filling. Tortilla was good but not that super fresh tortilla you can find some places. 4/5 Chicken burrito: Although it *was* authentic I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken burrito. The chicken was that diced, not the white meat but not the dark meat kind of leftover chicken. Inside was rice, tomatoes, lettuce and although I ordered it with the red sauce it didn't taste super saucey or flavorful to me. My burrito was also ripped - oddly enough - so they didn't grill it for me. I think the better bet at this place is to do the beef or pork dishes. 3/5 Torta: Super duper enormous and very generous with the avocado on this pork torta. The bread was puffy and fresh, and was literally like a loaf of bread you would get at the supermarket bakery, it was so large. 5/5 Carne Asada Burrito Dinner: Came with a side of tasty and interesting (seriously interesting! They were seasoned with something that made them red) refried beans and a little side of rice with peas and solid seasoning as well. This burrito was definitely the best grilled of the bunch - and also the most expensive. However, it was also the best enjoyed burrito. 5/5 Ordered from Doordash during summer quarantine months. I wish they would add a shrimp burrito! They have it for shrimp cocktail already they should just sling some of those in a burrito :)

This is our new authentic taco spot in the Aurora area. The food is amazing, very authentic, prepared within a reasonable time and the price per taco is unbeatable in the area. Considering all the COVID restrictions this place is getting it done. It's our go-to for tacos. Give them a try.

Good quality food. Love the guacamole and chips. Steak quesadilla needs a touch more meat otherwise it's delicious.

Tried the Asada Burrito for lunch, larger than average burrito and very delicious! The steak and seasoned rice have great flavor.

The restaurant was extremely cold. The food was not good and the prices didn't match what the menu stated.

Great taco place. Their tacos dorados de frijoles were surprisingly great and got me hooked right away.

I think that Mexican restos have the same unfortunate reality as Chinese and many Indian joints:…read moreThe worse the curb appeal, the better the food. Although it is prolly apocryphal, it is said Toulouse-Lautrec commented much the same about French restaurants. There is a sizable Latino population in our neck of the woods, thus there are many Mexican places to eat. MiRancho here falls under the category of my opening statement. It's (way) off the beaten path, and definitely not picturesque. But I have had too many good meals in places that aren't exactly the ritz, so I had to try MiRancho. The Yelps were encouraging. I was ordering from the menu board, then I saw a small sign announcing a "buffet". I asked the nice fellow behind the counter and he said it was on. Well. It was, again, not pretty, but the quality of what was on/in it was top-notch. Lotsa meats, all totally yum. Three soups, including a great Pozole. Proper garnishes and side dishes. The throw from the soft drink bubbler was excellent. Even from the buffet, everything tasted vibrant and fresh--Might be the best Mex food I've had in this area. At the right price, too. In the end, it was very "home-like" and I took the simple, yet clean surroundings as a statement of "We're about the food 100% here". A true "off-the path" gem!

Que Brava is not one of these typical cluttered family owned and operated restaurants. For sure seems organized and competent. The prices are kind of high, which is the only bad thing. Coming in here the first time we got something that wasn't expected. It's actually a pretty clean place. There's tables that actually are cleaned off between customers if you can believe that. A good thing is there's alcohol. There's some other classic beverages too. Get agua frescas. They have horchata, and there's Jamaica which is made with hibiscus. But alcohol you have to get it of course. It's about $13 for a margarita. These come in a few flavors, some interesting ones. I got the Hibiscus Margarita. This is made with Grand Marnier, hibiscus tea, lime mix, tequila, and triple sec. Great thing was it wasn't as sweet as it sounded like it would be. The prices keep people from getting more. For sure the best stuff is the food. It's got a whole vegetarian section. A lot easier to order. It's about $18 for the tacos. These are a few tacos filled with mushrooms, peppers, and zucchini. Comes with sides of rice and beans. Pretty filling. Also they have the other usual classics. There's quesadillas, tortas, and more stuff. Great place as far as taste and authentic flavors. It's closed Tuesdays. There's meaty options as well as a few things for vegans and vegetarians.
