Tampiquena (grilled skirt steak), cheese enchilada, black beans and rice. Comes with tortillas.

First time there and we enjoyed it! Cute patio with umbrellas, good service, and good food. The margaritas were fresh and balanced and we loved that the chips and salsa were fresh-made! We shared the shrimp tacos (very tasty) and the tampiquena (grilled skirt steak). The meat was very tender and I like that it comes with a cheese enchilada. The rice and beans were good too.

We tried this place out on our anniversary this year. They have a cute outdoor patio and one wall opens up to it. We ate just inside so we had the best of both worlds. It's clean and well taken care of inside and out. We both ordered a frozen mango margarita and they do not skimp on the tequila! It was very fresh though a little on the all side compared to other places. They provided chips and salsa for free and they were good. We were boring and only had the mild salsa but it was bueno. My fajitas came to the table (in under 15 mins) sizzling delightfully. The waitress had asked what kind of tortillas I wanted and I had told her corn but for some reason I was given both flour and corn piled up like corn, flour, corn, flour so if you have a gluten allergy this is something to be concerned about. That being said the fajitas were good and so were the pork tacos.

So disappointing... got a burrito bowl. It was cheap as can be. 2 cups iceberg lettuce, 20 pieces corn, 20 Black beans, I tablespoon rice, 1/2 cup chicken and a drizzle of sour cream. No flavor, just plain as hospital food. They could have gave me salsa or something to make it taste better.

Finally!!!!! Downtown Oswego getting top quality non chain restaurants!!! This place just opened and took the place of the old Firehouse Pizza. Wow they did an incredible job rennovating this spot and it looks bright and clean and comfortable inside. The service was spectacular with the server knowing everything about the menu, how they prep the food, etc. It was impressive. The food came out fast, hot and my God did it taste delicious. My whole family including kids loved it. Only suggestion for the owners would be to have a few kids menu options as our 4 yr old had a quesadilla but because there was some "salad" in it as she said, it took coaxing to get her to eat it. A few kids options would be great. I would suggest going early as no reservations yet and we were there at 5 on a Saturday and it got really busy really fast. Can't blame the crowds as the food was that good! So happy to see places like this giving us a reason to go into downtown Oswego as a destination for dining. Btw their various salsas are incredible. It took willpower not to just drink it from the bowl it came in.....

Fantastic chicken tacos, salsa, and margaritas! Our server was awesome too! The place is so clean, the decor so inviting, and the flowers and landscaping are beautiful. I'd give them more starts if I could.

We had a party of 10 come in for a 6:30 reservation and got seated right away! We came here from Downers Grove because the owner of this restaurant owns our favorite restaurant in Westmont closer to home and I must say it was worth the commute! The food was excellent and the pepino margarita is the bomb! Staff was very friendly as well!

An amazing time!…read more First time here and we will definitely be coming back as the food was amazing but the drinks.. holy moly, those were outstanding! Got to try 11 of them and each one was smooth and it was like drinking juices. All of them had great flavor and some had fun unique twists. To start out with, they had a busy night, between Frank Senatra night where their live entertainment was great, it was also homecoming, so the place was packed, which wasnt a bother as they also have quieter outdoor seating (just have to watch out for the bugs! ) The food came out in droves as one of our guys at the table decided to go down the list and order one of each of the appetizers, (note: we were only a table of 5) all of which were pretty great. My favorite probably was the salmon bruchetta followed up by the seasonal burrata! However, some of the guys devoured the chips & goods while the wings dissappeared so fast. Killing most of the appetizers, we moved onto the main course. I got the apple brie flatbread which was really good and sweet. The carmalized onions paired with the melty bri and fresh apples very well. While another friend ended up woth their watermelon feta salad which was pretty decent. Overall it was a great night and we decided we would be coming back for another fun night out in the future.

The Vault is often the place to be for community events downtown and on the weekends! Great vibes when it's packed. Ariana came over introduced herself as our waitress and walked us through their new lunch menu. I chose the Bucatini & Meatballs and my wife ordered Mama Lasagna. Having been here 3 times previously we remembered to order their delicious Italian Soda House Bread. After the initial soft opening we took advantage of the new expanded weekend hours currently offered. Our food came out promptly, hot and most flavorful. The lunch portions were generous and reasonably priced. I ordered a plain soda that wasn't shown on the menu and appreciated it being no problem. I recommend you give our hometown's latest gem a try. The service was great, food delicious and you won't feel rushed. Expect your experience to feel just right! Great job and good luck Italian Soda House. We are proud to have you as our neighbor!

Oh boy. We got sodas. Those were good…read more We ordered "soda bread" which was not soda bread-it was focaccia bread. It was suppose to have cheeses and such in it. The waiter said it was called that because of the name of the restaurant. Uhhh-soda bread and focaccia bread are two totally different breads. It's about expectations. Then, we ordered butter because the bread was plain-the butter tasted like chapstick. So waxy! Odd. Secret meatballs. The meatballs tasted like meatloaf (I like meatloaf). Nothing special there. But, the sauce was delicious! Best part of the meal. Pasta Carbonara-yuck. So greasy. Stay away from that. ($25) Four cheese ravioli-you could get the same thing with a grocery store jar of vodka sauce and frozen ravioli. Again, don't!. The Limoncello. Huh. On the verge of too dry. Not very much lemon flavor. I would have swirled some lemon curd on the plate to drag a bite through. Maybe some fresh lemon zest on top. Highlight the meatball sauce. That's it. Cute restaurant.

Annoying at times but not all bad. The drinks are better than the eating which is limited. Big place with lots of room inside. It's got a bar close to the front which has plenty of seating. There's also quite a few tables. Basic choices. Menu has about what to expect for a place like this. It's $4 for wells at happy hour. That's hard to beat it seems. It's about $7 for appetizers. Several to choose from including onion rings. Meaty choices among the entrees. There's burgers loaded with things like bacon, and macaroni and cheese with or without brisket toppings. Great place for happy hours. It's open daily even weekdays and has lots of specials. The food options include meaty things like burgers and wings.

The nachos were solid! I'd say go wild and ask for extra cheese because life's too short for dry chips. Drinks? Meh. They did their job but didn't exactly make me want to write home about them. Ambiance-wise, it's giving strong county bar energy--think boots, beer, and a playlist that had us singing along like we knew the words (we didn't, but that didn't stop us). Bonus: there are slot machines if you're feeling lucky or just want to dramatically lose $5 for the thrill. Would return for the music and bingo vibes, but next time I'm bringing my own glitter dauber.
