Tampiquena (grilled skirt steak), cheese enchilada, black beans and rice. Comes with tortillas.

First time there and we enjoyed it! Cute patio with umbrellas, good service, and good food. The margaritas were fresh and balanced and we loved that the chips and salsa were fresh-made! We shared the shrimp tacos (very tasty) and the tampiquena (grilled skirt steak). The meat was very tender and I like that it comes with a cheese enchilada. The rice and beans were good too.

We tried this place out on our anniversary this year. They have a cute outdoor patio and one wall opens up to it. We ate just inside so we had the best of both worlds. It's clean and well taken care of inside and out. We both ordered a frozen mango margarita and they do not skimp on the tequila! It was very fresh though a little on the all side compared to other places. They provided chips and salsa for free and they were good. We were boring and only had the mild salsa but it was bueno. My fajitas came to the table (in under 15 mins) sizzling delightfully. The waitress had asked what kind of tortillas I wanted and I had told her corn but for some reason I was given both flour and corn piled up like corn, flour, corn, flour so if you have a gluten allergy this is something to be concerned about. That being said the fajitas were good and so were the pork tacos.

So disappointing... got a burrito bowl. It was cheap as can be. 2 cups iceberg lettuce, 20 pieces corn, 20 Black beans, I tablespoon rice, 1/2 cup chicken and a drizzle of sour cream. No flavor, just plain as hospital food. They could have gave me salsa or something to make it taste better.

Finally!!!!! Downtown Oswego getting top quality non chain restaurants!!! This place just opened and took the place of the old Firehouse Pizza. Wow they did an incredible job rennovating this spot and it looks bright and clean and comfortable inside. The service was spectacular with the server knowing everything about the menu, how they prep the food, etc. It was impressive. The food came out fast, hot and my God did it taste delicious. My whole family including kids loved it. Only suggestion for the owners would be to have a few kids menu options as our 4 yr old had a quesadilla but because there was some "salad" in it as she said, it took coaxing to get her to eat it. A few kids options would be great. I would suggest going early as no reservations yet and we were there at 5 on a Saturday and it got really busy really fast. Can't blame the crowds as the food was that good! So happy to see places like this giving us a reason to go into downtown Oswego as a destination for dining. Btw their various salsas are incredible. It took willpower not to just drink it from the bowl it came in.....

Fantastic chicken tacos, salsa, and margaritas! Our server was awesome too! The place is so clean, the decor so inviting, and the flowers and landscaping are beautiful. I'd give them more starts if I could.

Margaritas twice the cost of food. $20 mediocre margaritas and $10 tacos. Good luck failing

The margarita menu has also expanded, was much better than the last time we were there. Not sure if it was a difference in the chef, but my husband got the enchiladas again and said they were phenomenal. We also ordered the guacamole, and it was fresh cut chunks of avocado with pico de gallo, so fresh and tasty! Servers are always polite, and I love the decorations they have there. They have pretty lights on the ceiling with some artificial flowers, makes the place seem very relaxing. Will definitely be going back more often now!!!

They sat us in the very back corner for some reason when others were seated in the front area. We were wearing regular clothes on a Sunday night so not sure why we were hidden? No one ever came to get our order so after about 15 minutes we left. I was a bit offended by this. Why were we placed in a random back corner (moved a table set apart for us to sit back there and everything) and then we were then ignored? It was NOT busy at all. Very empty in there. Only 2 other small groups. Unfortunately we will not be returning. La Marimba got our money tonight.

There were two waitresses in our area and it was clear ours was not as serious about their job as the other. We waited long enough after being seated to start to wonder id we had been forgotten. Two other tables (seated after us by the other waitress) had been seated and got drinks before our someone came to our table. When I did get my water it had plastic wrap in it. The other waitress took it from us to get a new one. No sorry, nothing. Acted like nothing happened. Our waitress delivered the new one 10 solid minutes later. It was Not super busy at this time. Why so long? And again no acknowledgement of the plastic.. couldnt get myself to drink anything else with worry of contamination of the ice box. Order the california chicken sandwich and brussel sprouts. My mother had the smash burger. She seemed to enjoy it though both sandwiches were stacked super tall and mine had two huge thick red o ions on it. A bit overpowering but mine was good after that was removed. Brussel sprouts were significantly salty. Wasnt able to get through them. My mom got the fries and tho were standard. She also got a bloody mary. It was alright she seemed to enjoy it. Waitress was a little sarcastic with us for no reason and the plastic and just overall service was unfortunate. It was enough to leave a bad taste in my mouth and I dont plan to return.

My friend and I got the ricotta fritters and stuffed mushrooms, and we loved both. The Pom soda was sooooo good, and my Italian Smashburger was one of the best smashburgers I've ever had. The soda bread as a bun was amazing, and the sauce on it was addictive. I didn't walk in expecting to order a burger, but I'm so glad that I did! The service was so nice, and I feel bad that I can't remember the name of the girl working on Tuesday night, as well as the guy who was at the front of house. They were both friendly, and I'd give them compliments by name if I could. :) I'm looking forward to going back soon!

The waiter said it was called that because of the name of the restaurant. Uhhh-soda bread and focaccia bread are two totally different breads. It's about expectations. Then, we ordered butter because the bread was plain-the butter tasted like chapstick. So waxy! Odd. Secret meatballs. The meatballs tasted like meatloaf (I like meatloaf). Nothing special there. But, the sauce was delicious! Best part of the meal. Pasta Carbonara-yuck. So greasy. Stay away from that. ($25) Four cheese ravioli-you could get the same thing with a grocery store jar of vodka sauce and frozen ravioli. Again, don't!. The Limoncello. Huh. On the verge of too dry. Not very much lemon flavor. I would have swirled some lemon curd on the plate to drag a bite through. Maybe some fresh lemon zest on top. Highlight the meatball sauce. That's it. Cute restaurant.

Annoying at times but not all bad. The drinks are better than the eating which is limited. Big place with lots of room inside. It's got a bar close to the front which has plenty of seating. Several to choose from including onion rings. Meaty choices among the entrees. There's burgers loaded with things like bacon, and macaroni and cheese with or without brisket toppings. Great place for happy hours. It's open daily even weekdays and has lots of specials. The food options include meaty things like burgers and wings.

The nachos were solid! I'd say go wild and ask for extra cheese because life's too short for dry chips. Drinks? Meh. They did their job but didn't exactly make me want to write home about them. Ambiance-wise, it's giving strong county bar energy--think boots, beer, and a playlist that had us singing along like we knew the words (we didn't, but that didn't stop us). Bonus: there are slot machines if you're feeling lucky or just want to dramatically lose $5 for the thrill. Would return for the music and bingo vibes, but next time I'm bringing my own glitter dauber.
