Horrific service. The QR code ordering system/paying online is unnecessary and off-putting. We're no longer living in Covid times - you're not coming across as cool and tech savvy - you're coming across as lazy and like you can't be bothered to show up. Print some menus and bring them to the table. You're a restaurant which is (the last time I checked) a service industry. Can the attitude. When you bring the food, is it too much to ask for you to also bring napkins and cutlery? Is the customer really expected to get up and track someone down to ask for these items? The patio area was dirty with leaves, used napkins and food all over the ground (not exactly what customers want to sit in - perhaps an occasional sweep might prove useful). Follow-up = non-existent. Our beer was adequate enough, but the pizza - meh. If you're into skimpy toppings and burnt crust - you're in luck. Below average service from under-motivated staff and average food is not a recipe for repeat business. Maybe you should just be a brewery and skip the food? Check please! read more

Great location, great ambience. They keep on rotating their beers and have some refreshing tap options. Their pizza is bomb and seriously underrated. We always go for their hot and bothered pizza. It comes topped with sausage, calibrian peppers, shishito peppers, garlic and ricotta. Other than that their baked goat cheese is great as well. Usually 2 pizzas are good for a group of 4 people. They have beers flights as well. They are flexible with the number of beers in the flight. We have already been here multiple times so it's a surprise it took me long time to write a review. Unfortunately I have never clicked a pizza pic because it is gone as soon as it arrives. Must visit if you are in the area read more

Incredible pizza! Fun location and you can catch the farmers market on Wednesdays as well! Kid/family friendly. Menus are only available on the QR scanner though but the servers can also take your order. read more

Strike two. Please don't tell me my order was delayed due a slight rush. That is saying the in-person order is in a LIFO vs FIFO customer priority. When you tell me you can't find my order and then need just about ten more minutes due that rush....oddly the exact amount of time it takes to make the simplest pizza. Oh, and thanks for the offer of the cheese and peppers. I now have them in hand and they were in the box already. Glad I tipped when I placed the order, I would have been hard pressed to do so at pickup. read more

Outdoor tables are great and beautiful view. Beers are all fresh and all menus are delicious. Location is easy to find and parking lot is huge. Such a nice place for hangout with friend, dating or have meal with family. read more

Fieldwork - Sat outdoor table and took this photo at this restaurant - Salad Near Me - Corte Madera, California

We were in the area and looking for some lunch after a long hike at rodeo beach. We ordered the delivery boy pizza, Lilith 16oz cans, and selective disobedience 16 oz cans. The pizza was great and the beers were delicious. We had way more than we needed for our lunch and got to take some beers home for later. The staff were really friendly and we will definitely be back when we're in the area again. read more

I'd give this place zero stars if I could. You order via QR code, so the extent of server interaction is them bringing out your food and drinks. We had to get up and request silverware, side plates, and boxes for uneaten food. They never once came back after delivering the food to see if everything was okay. They never cleared any dirty dishes and we had three courses (appetizer, salads, and pizzas). But the worst part was the fact that they forgot about one person's pizza. We had all been there eating our pizzas for 15-20 minutes when they came out and acknowledged their mistake, asking if we still wanted it. Of course, she did. She was hungry. They said it would take 6-7 minutes. About 20 minutes later, they brought out the pizza in the second photo. I immediately commented that it was burnt and the server stated that this type of pizza (Detroit Style) is supposed to be crispy. If crispy means charred and you might need dental work after eating it, they nailed it. My husband and I worked in the restaurant industry for a decade and therefore have an incredible amount of patience and understanding when we are out to eat. But this is shameful. Any chef/cook should be ashamed to send this out of their kitchen and any server should refuse to deliver it, much less expect a customer to pay for it. After my complaint, they took this nearly 40 minutes late and burnt beyond identity (see the what we ordered vs what we got pics) pizza off of the bill, but we still paid nearly $200 for five people. Never again! read more

Decent beers. Pizza was a different story. I asked for crispy just cause i really dislike doughy pizza. I think they didn't like the request because they cooked the pizza with two pans cause they said it gets hot too hot handle. So what I got was crispy on top and real raw dough underneath. My friend and I asked if they could cook it more because it was inedible. The manager through the 3 day old server said tell them they eat it as is cause they can't put it back in the oven once served or they would have to put in new another pizza. Felt bad for the new server as she seemed uncomfortable to be in the position to fire up another pizza. Bottomline line we couldn't eat the raw pizza dough and took the pizza home disappointed. read more

Draught selection is really well done. Highly recommend the Nomad and the lambic. Foods great as well, including baked goat cheese and pizza s (see photo). Late 90s alternative rock really brings things together read more

This restaurant serves great pizza and drinks. They have interesting pizzas which are delicious. The servers are excellent.

Super good! Would recommend for chilling with friends or family. There a brewing company but there pizza is top of the line! The kids pizza is basically the same size as the normal pizza. Nice outdoor area for dogs. read more

You are only as good as the last time you went there and this time was not good. 1. Sign says check with host before seating, "sit anywhere" thanks you are sure helpful. 2. Even though there are three people at the bar, looking at their phone, talking, etc. do you still have to order using a scan the code which is kind of stupid when there's only a handful of people in there and enough staff to take your order. Then you have to order basically online so it takes out the whole aspect of customer service. It's not an easy app and it didn't work very well. It took too much time to try to order a simple beer and I told my friend OK we're out of here because the staff said that this is the way we had to do it, and we simply could not order a beer from them at the bar. This is when those places where you might as well have robots working there since you are doing all the work yourself and then you're supposed to tip them? I will probably not be going back because it was too complicated. read more

I grew up on the east coast so I know great pizza. I'm not saying this pizza is anything like east coast pizza but it's certainly the best in Marin. Plus the staff here is so amazing. They dont have the delivery system down pat but they always make up for the delivery delay by offering free craft beer. I also think the pizza in Marin is a fortune and Fieldworks is a super affordable option for the whole family. My kids also love it and beg for the simple pepperoni pizza. One more thing, I never eat the crust unless I'm at Fieldwork:) read more

The service here is excellent. We enjoyed each of the beers we tried. Love the atmosphere.

Great service, decent food and beer. We had a great time here on a Saturday evening. We sat outside and the I would have given 5 stars, if that had cleaned the floor that was filthy. read more

Great new pub in Corte Madera. Always loved Fieldworks beer and now there is one near my office!

Really enjoy this location. We come here on occasion and we always bring our dog Holly with us. It's so great that it's dog friendly! The server even brought Holly a bowl of water and a cookie (: The beer selection is excellent and the food is pretty darn good. Would recommend the Caesar salad! read more

We were on vacation in the area and were looking for a fun atmosphere to get dinner. Fieldwork had great reviews, so had we positive expectations. The experience was disappointing on several levels. I ordered a Caesar salad, an $11 item. When it was delivered, it was a sad, small pile of iceberg lettuce with a few garnishments. I didn't complain, but ate it. My wife ordered the meatballs, also $11. They brought three smallish meatballs that hadn't been fully cooked. I will say that they heated them up at our request and they were then fine. The beer I ordered, though, was very good. Maybe this was a one off, but the restaurant's food is overpriced and disappointing and doesn't warrant a five star rating. read more

Love this place in Corte Madera. We order pizza/salads almost weekly and they are all very friendly, even when busy. Some of their sours are interesting too. read more

Great food. Mostly bad service. QR code or bust. Asked for a check and we're scoffed at.

My wife and I tried this place on a whim since we were in the area. Food was good, but the beer was phenomenal. "Owl Theory" is everything I want in a beer. We ended up going back again at the next opportunity. read more

Living nearby, 'stopped by this place to have my first beer out after right Covid lockdown was lifted. It was a very good beer served in a large snifter type glass - not a 'pint.' Very pleasant. Service was scattered. The small beer cost $13- so $15- with tip. Unpleasant. read more

We stopped by this place with no prior knowledge or expectations and were pleasantly surprised. For being in a mall it surpassed all standards and was super affordable! I can't say anything about the appetizers, but the chopped kale salad and the pizza were very good. Would definitely revisit if we were in the area. read more

We had a great experience today. We were lucky to have Elaina as our server. She was very professional and knew the beer and food menu well. She accidentally put in the wrong pizza for us but the was she handled it was perfect. She admitted to her mistake and gave us the option of the pizza she put in or have a new pizza made. Everyone makes mistakes but it's how you handle it that is most important. I think she is fabulous! Can't wait to go back. read more

The margherita did not look like the pictures, super disappointed about that. Shredded cheese instead of fresh mozz. Also, the crust wasn't the beautiful bubbly type in the pictures. The beer was delicious as always. read more

Amazing beer and food!!! Highly recommend. Never have had a bad experience at Fieldwork

If I could give them 0 stars - I would. The pizza was quite frankly the worst I've ever had. And to add insult to injury - expensive. I came here with a group - largely spurred on by the high stars on Yelp. Wow, what a disappointment! Save your money - there are so many better spots in Marin. read more

I'm so glad we went to this spot!! We were going to go somewhere else but it was pouring so we ended up choosing this place since they had indoor dining. It was Incredible!! We ordered two pies and the Brussels sprouts (amazing) will definitely go back here! They also have an incredible selection of beers on tap! read more

Very good beer and very good pizza. Went for lunch. Service was very friendly, snapped a couple drafts and had a great experience.

SO happy to have Fieldwork in Corte Madera! And, great food too! Love the Baked Goat Cheese! If you've ever been to any other Fieldwork location, the great craft brew and service goes without saying. read more

Come for the beer, but eat elsewhere. The chicken wings were burnt on one side and barely cooked on the other. the "caesar" salad was covered in what looked like chicken stripped off of some chicken wings and included a large amount of radishes (?). Both items were awful. We might be back for beers but NOT for food. read more

The food and beer are pretty amazing over here. Only three stars because me and my friends being the only "Non-White" people over there, I did observe some differences in the way we were served compared to the other guests.. small things but very much noticeable! read more

Such a nice experience! We went in at 4:30 on Sunday and it was busy. We did find a table for four and ordered a wide variety of their sampler sized beers. Service was friendly and prompt and the beers delicious. We also ordered 2 pizzas to share. When the first one arrived it was placed on a convenient rack and we each had a slice. When it was time for seconds, I had a little trouble separating the pieces and ended up having the pan slide halfway off of the stand. We recovered it, it was quite sloppy by now but definitely still edible. However, a manager observed my accident and immediately insisted on replacing it, even though it was half eaten and it was totally my fault. Such a great way to get repeat customers! Both pizzas were excellent and we ordered more beer. Thanks to the staff for making our Sunday. We will be regulars! read more

I love this place too much. Pizza is the best in Marin and honestly the beer is too. The beer is amazing, not cheap, but you absolutely get what you pay for read more

We had a good pizza here before, but this time management says the only way to order is with a qr code, which is such an exclusive policy, we walked out! To eat there you have to be sighted and carry a phone and be technologically adept. I just read about teenagers who are rebelling against having to carry phones. This place thinks it's ahead of the curve but they are really behind the times. read more

Went to Fieldwork Brewing Company with a large party of about 16 for after work drinks and appetizers. I had in advance to make sure that they would be able to accommodate such a group size. Mike, the manager, was very prompt in getting back to us and assured that they would make things work. The taproom isn't huge, but not cramped either, and the high ceilings make it feel very open. They Nice wooden tabletops, and a long hightop table that easily sat all of us without being squished. The staff is all very nice and friendly, and will gladly answer any questions regarding any of their beers from the rather extensive selection list. The printed beer menu is also very informative and gives good descriptions of each brew (including possible allergens)! I'm not usually a fan of sours, but the Raspberry Parfait was very good. And both the Danger Cake and Eliza were delicious, sweet dark brews that I highly recommend before they get swapped out! And lastly, the food is amazing. The food menu isn't huge, which I appreciate because I wasn't overwhelmed with too many options. All the starters are fantastic -- the pita was fresh and soft, the wings had a yummy sweet chili sauce, meatballs tasted homemade, and the Brussels sprouts were fantastic! And the pizzas are really well done, with a thin bottom crust that you know from the first bite was made in-house, and a soft slightly salted crust. We got the Margherita, and it was served piping hot fresh out of the oven! Yum! TLDR: Nice atmosphere, attentive and personable staff, great beer selection, and delicious food! Definitely coming back soon!!! read more

The food here is pretty good, and I want to give them of the benefit of the doubt with Covid. The takeout situation is awful, though. If you place an order online, the soonest you can pick up is 2 hours later (which is just crazy for pizza)!! Twice now I've placed an order online and it wasn't even ready at the promised time. Order placed at 5:15, promised to be ready by 7. Show up at 7 to pick up and had to wait for another 18 minutes until my pizza was ready. read more

Wow what great food... and great beer! Amazing pizza, the tomato in it really popped. The Caesar salad was also awesome, just wished the anchovies were better ~they were dark anchovies and usually those are pretty good, maybe these were 'Covid old'. White anchovies rule! read more

Visited this place out of curiosity, cause I often shop at Town Center and wanted to try out the different restaurants. It started out alright, the Brussels were pretty good but the wings sauce was nearly untastable. Not spicy, not sweet, not salty, just kind of nothing. The kale salad was mediocre, nothing stood out. The biggest issue was the pizza! The crust's texture was good, but it lacked salt. The sauce's texture was nearly watery, and also lacked the salty/slightly sweet and savory flavor you'd expect from pizza sauce. The cheese was bland but that's usually excusable with margarita pizza, it was just the mixture of everything that made it get worse and worse with every bite. The service was fine, despite the baffled look the server gave me when I asked for salt, but the best way to explain the experience is lackluster. read more

First time coming in today. Good beer, good pizza but ordering from your phone by scanning the QR code is so impersonal. Nobody came over to check on us, no personal experiences or even conversation unless you happened to flag down someone by chance. Even bringing over our food was less than stellar, just drop it and move on. Disappointing to say the least because I'd come back for the beer and food but this service sucked ass. Do better guys. read more
