I immediately told my granddaughter "let's go" and left. Regardless of what your political beliefs are I feel it was very wrong to play this kind of music with these lyrics in a store where practically half the merchandise is for children! I appreciate her authenticity and real connection that she made with us. It was nice to meet someone who was able to be themself. Refreshing. The entire class was an intimate group of five total. Jenn took her time with us and made sure that we were happy with the scents we chose for our candles. The class spends a bit of time talking about scents and how to layer them. Did I learn how to make candles on my own? No. It was more of an introduction to the world of candle making. Give it a try and dip your wick into it. FYI: You get a 15% store wide discount on the day of the workshop. Scents open up more fully in your candle after a few days. One Disappointment: We checked Google and Yelp for their hours and thought we could make it before they closed. We raced over for our candles after work. Google & Yelp HAVE MISINFORMATION about HOURS. We tried to call...no answer. Hours are not posted on their door. So check their website for their hours.

The wonderful woman working (I forgot to get her name) was kind and knowledgeable. She offered a tea tasting (which we never even knew was a thing) and it was wonderful! She was hospitable which is very rare in the downtown Petaluma area. She was well educated and helpful helping my mom and I find the perfect tea for us. We ended up buying multiple items and she carefully wrapped all of our delicate items. Absolutely the best experience I've had. Thank you so much! We will be going back!
