There is surprising variety packed into this small nook of a shop. One of us always finds at least one thing we can't live without. Love our local bookstores in Healdsburg!…read more Levin is conveniently located right on the Healdsburg Plaza, so we often pop in to browse before or after going to dinner. And it's a go-to stop for gift purchasing (we've purchased board books from here to send to friends who've had babies!). They sell so many treasures! Of course they sell books, but they also sell vinyl records, local art (custom dog paintings caught our eye!!!), games, and more. On our recent visit, we enjoyed looking through their many board games. Need to add a new one to our collection soon. Don't despair, Levin also has an art gallery and sells records and CDs. There are many pages of writing in folders called books. These 'books' are placed on tables and shelves according to category, with signs that require even more reading. Levin's is a wonderland of great books, and so inviting. A clerk spent 15 minutes with us giving useful suggestions for our summer reads collection. There truly is something for everyone here. Except wine. It's good to buy a couple of books for a long plane ride, or other situations where your cell battery died & you might otherwise be forced to observe your surroundings or interact with another human.
