There is a place which honors San Francisco and the Richmond ( the District and not the city of Richmond). This place has art which honors the monuments of San Francisco and the style of San Francisco on clothing. It is called Fleetwood. On a Summer stroll on Clement street I landed inside Fleetwood. Inside you will find hats and jewelry along with shirts and seaters with prints that represent San Francisco from the Richmond District to the Golden Gate Bridge to the Sunset Dunes. You will find posters with San Francisco related prints along with tote bags. Fleetwood is also an art gallery and also has screen printing workshops. This business is in a location that was previously a record store and pictures on the wall recognize celebrities visiting the store to sign autographs. I won't mention the names of the celebrities as that would spoil the surprise when you visit. Also, both owners (husband & wife) were there during my visit. From them I indirectly learned of changes in their profession and how fewer people are learning the skills needed to do their work. The lesson for me was how things change but how particular skills while timeless can simply disappear before society realizes what has been lost.

That is why I would rather drive ten minutes here and get the job done right.

I was so excited to open the box and find the most beautiful, stunning floral arrangement I have ever seen. The packaging used displays them in the most perfect manner. I wanted to eat them, however, they are not edible, even though they appear to be :p. I don't know how they do it, but how amazing is it that these exquisite pieces last for over a year?! Also included in the package were the instructions on how to take care of them: do not expose to direct sunlight or dust; no watering (thank God because I kill most living things); and do not place anything on top of the roses. They're as simple as that. Bahar is such a pleasure to speak with. She's pleasant and responds diligently. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for your flower needs with any sort of event. These flowers would also be amazing for Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, anniversaries and any other reason to celebrate (hint to all you fellows out there). Just saying, get your credit cards ready because this is what you're looking for :D. They're vibrant, sexy, and outstanding!

While we had decided that we wouldn't hold an in-person event, we wanted to do something. We got connected with PAC and learned about what could be done virtually, what they would need from us, and we pulled off a well-attended virtual celebration and fundraiser. Not only did they have the expertise to pull off a successful virtual event, but the staff also did an extraordinary amount of the heavy lifting to make sure that everything went off without a hitch including registration, reminders, and auction items. Surprisingly, we ended up not only having a meaningful event for our members and friends, we ended up raising double what we normally do at our annual in-person event.
