We specifically chose a mobile repair because nobody wants to hook their trailer up and tow it down to the repair shop. I called several mobile RV repair businesses and Rick was not only the most responsive, but he tried to problem solve the issue with me on the phone before he even came out. When that didn't work we scheduled a time for him to come to the house. I also chose Rick because he could get out to the house within a reasonable amount of time (I think it was 1-2 weeks). Several others told me they didn't have availability for 4+ weeks! Rick also had competitive and fair prices for his service. Once Rick was out here he let my husband support the repair and learn more about the RV, talking him through what he was checking and teaching him along the way. There was extensive damage to the interior over-the-cab compartment and to the structural over the cab piece. Frank and his professional crew completely rebuilt the over cab piece replacing the fiberglass and trim, put a new roof on it, changed out the fan vents and rebuilt the ceiling and sides of the over the cab sleep area inside the RV. It was a huge job but saved us purchasing a new RV and all that entails. It took some time but was well worth it. To replace the roof the alternative was to drive it and leave it at a California shop. I can't tell you how happy we were to find RV Roof Dog. I highly recommend him, his staff and their ability to professionally complete a very difficult rebuild. The cherry on top is that there is a 2 year warranty. Try his shop you won't regret it. The slide adjustment was not even 'properly adjusted' ... the work order said 'tightened loose bracket' ... on our next trip the slide was still uneven .. 21 inch front, 17 inch in rear - Arg!! I then googled and found the adjustment procedure online which involves identifying and loosening the slave motor, adjusting the slide by hand then re-tightening the motor ... this was not done, but I was charged over $300 for a fix? Long story short, I had a bumper which was damaged and required a replacement. However, I would find out that the auto repair that I went to before A1 was trying to have me have my car "totaled" as they deemed the damages too great to repair, despite it was only the bumper being damaged. Desperate to save my car, I ran around town looking for a repair shop willing to replace my bumper and not have my car totaled. I found Dena Greenlee with A1 and after listening to my story she told me to come by. She listened attently to the issues and had the repair technicians assessed my photos. A rough price was quoted and there was an arrangement to have my car picked up and towed over. Before Christmas (roughly 3 weeks in all), I got my car back! I can't say how thankful I am to A1! Having to go through a car accident is very traumatic, so do go through your insurance and coordinate with them about what are your best options. See if you can come by to have your vehicle serviced at A1 and hopefully have your car fixed!

The lady behind the counter said she would grab someone else and seemed to dismiss the $300 charge once I told her I wasn't paying that simply for an estimate. I was parked on 21st Street, completely against the curb, not over the white line or blocking traffic. My damage was on the right side so the estimator would have stood on grass not in the street. The only way out of their back lot was to back out, relying on an employee to stop traffic in both directions. Guess what, if something happened who is at fault? Sorry, but I am not trusting them to direct traffic. If anything happened, it would be the person driving, not directing traffic who is at fault. Another thing, not only is parking atrocious, but be prepared to be yelled at by the homeless. They obviously have an issue as you must be buzzed in the front entrance. Save yourself the trouble and just go elsewhere. They operate like they don't need your business and are the only shop in town. If they won't accommodate you for parking, imagine how the repairs or any conflicts will be handled.
