I love this place. It's so well thought-out. Has everything you need (big TV, nice beds, nice shower, large bench to set all your gear) and nothing you don't (mini-bar, chocolates on pillows, wired phones). And for a very reasonable price.

Dog friendly hotel and only a mile away from downtown Moab! Only parking outside and that can be rough in that Utah heat! The rooms are clean, spacious and modern. They have a merch shop and cafe too! I would go back!

I'm giving it a 5 because, for what it is, it is perfect. It's a place to lay your head when you're in Moab experiencing the outdoors. The exterior and the hallways are simple but once you get into the room, it's pretty amazing. The rooms are about 300 ft.² but they're perfectly clean. The bedding is that perfect. Bathrooms are smallnew and nicely appointed. And everywhere you look, the decor fits with their theme perfectly. Lots of room for your suitcases. The whole place kind of reminds me of an elevated European hostel, but you have your own room and your own bathroom. There's a little store, a coffee shop and a game room. Nice outdoor area with the fire pit and the swimming pool. Quiet time is 10:00 pm but you're still allowed out there. OK location : it's located on the north side of town when you first enter Moab. so a lot of the restaurants and stores are about .6 to1-1/2 miles away. For us that's an easy walk otherwise you can call an Uber. Haven't left yet but service so far has been 4.0

This was previously a Super 8. It is much better now and is very clean. Field Stn. caters to the outdoor adventure lifestyle. They have a store that sells a limited inventory of premium outdoor gear with premium pricing which matches their business model. The rooms have an outdoor set IKEA vibe and are modern but not exactly cost.

I love EVERYTHING about this hotel from the thoughtful design, the welcoming atmosphere the amenities and the AMAZING STAFF. Steven and Heather made my 5 night stay super nice. Don't miss out on the great coffee and pizza at the on site restaurant.

Our room with three beds.

The plywood decor in the room was really nice and our room was huge! We paid for an upgrade for a queen and two fulls in the form of bunk beds. The food in the lobby is standard expense. Lobby also has beer, but you must purchase food in order to buy a beer.

This place just opened and it's AMAZING! We were staying a few nights as we came through for work. DETAILS DETAILS DETAILS EVERYWHERE! They put so much intentional thought into the minimal and functional design of the rooms and common areas. From the bar in the shower to rest your foot on, to the bike racks in every room and the maps/field notepads to explore Moab- they thought of it all! There's a coffee/cafe and an entire outdoor gear shopping experience in the lobby. There's also a ping pong table and conference room that you can hang out in. The outdoor area is soooo great with picnic tables and a fire pit with chairs. They also have an awesome pool and hot tub although it wasn't open yet when we were there. There's plenty of fun games and books that they have for guests to enjoy as well. The rooms look exactly like the photos online and everything is so fresh and new it's so enjoyable to stay in. No outdated hotels here! They also have a dometic cooler fridge in every room and a place with a microwave on each floor with an ice machine. The outdoor esthetic and design was enough to book, but everything else was just above and beyond! What a cool place to stay and is so close to all the parks, natural spring, and restaurants. This is a must if you are an outdoor enthusiast who wants an extremely comfortable/stylish/functional room. Just a heads up there are no elevators but there are only two floors so it's an easy walk up the stairs with luggage. Favorite place to stay in Moab!

The mattresses are what you'd expect for staying off somewhere, not too hard but not too soft. We brought our own pillows so I can't speak to those. The bathroom has hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We didn't use the community areas, but the setup looks great and it has a grill. Cons: Cleanliness is lacking, there are cobwebs throughout. The floor needs a good vacuuming and a heavy mopping done. It looks like only spot cleaning is done when guests leave the property. Seeing the lack of cleanliness made me question if our sheets had actually been washed and that's a gross feeling. The bath tub has no stopper, but using a wash rag worked just fine. The hot water is lacking. A quarter of the way filling the tub the water turned cold, and it took a good 45 minutes for the water to heat back up. With three people needing to bathe/shower, it was problematic and very disappointing after a long day of being out in Arches N.P. Be sure to watch a YouTube video on the Hamilton Beach Brew Station coffee pot before using or you will have watered down cold coffee. Unfortunately, I did this after making our coffee, and wasted the coffee grounds and collagen powder I had brought. There is a lot of road noise, so if you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs. I don't think we will be back here again for the price we paid.

This review is for the tent camping, not the cabin or other rental options here (now HTR Moab)…read more The tent area is right next to the highway and it is LOUD since the trucks are engine braking downhill and shifting gears to go uphill. We stayed here two nights and slept terribly. Even with the free earplugs, we couldn't get a good nights sleep. Everything is so close together you also have no space from your neighbors. When we arrived someone else was encroaching in our site. The shared kitchen and bathroom facilities are nice, hence the 2 instead of 1 star.

Horsethief Campground is run by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Their mission is "To sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations." I did copy their mission from their website, FYI. Horsethief caught our eye online immediately. Though it did not have any running water offered, it was open during the winter. It also had toilets on site, which was a win for us. We decided to drive to Horsetheif and check it out. They offer both campsites and RV sites, but with no hook ups. All sites are first come, first serve. Which was also fine with us, because again, we were planning on camping during the winter, during a time when they had just had a good amount of snowfall. I was told that it was an unseasonable amount for that area at this time. As we drove we made note of how close the campground was to both Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park. We were planning on visiting both parks, so this seemed ideal. When we pulled in, (and do not blink, you can easily miss the entrance), we knew we found our campground. It was breath taking. The area was spectacular. It was covered with pristine snow and had Pinyon trees all around. It was like we were the only people there, we felt so secluded and protected. We picked tent site 25 and it could not have been more perfect. When we stay at Horsethief again we will aim to get the same site. It was close enough to the bathroom and yet hidden. I fell in love with our site and that campground in the short time we were there. The cost is $20 per night for tent sites and you need to bring exact cash. You simply put your cash in the provided envelopes and drop it in the drop box. When we visited there were no pens/pencils, and we did not travel with any, but I hope they know that we were the ones that paid. Please if you stay a night at Horsethief, please pay your fee, the money goes directly to the BLM and that is how they support taking care of their land. It was magnificent and I can not wait to return.
