The place is old school and quaint. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the place is pretty laid back. Plenty of room to park Jeeps and trailers. We stayed in a Country Cabin that had its own bathroom. It was small and even just two people inside made it difficult to navigate sometimes. The cabins are showing some age and the setup inside isnt an ideal use of the space. We had a fun stay and i like the fact its outside of downtown. read more

This could have easily been a 5-star review if the front staff had been pleasant. They have changed the glamping set up and the map and online pictures no longer match. Lots of confusion about the exact location of the tent and the front desk made it so much worse. The camp itself was clean and the tent we rented was well set up. This was an "ok" park for a place to park the trailer and explore the area. The facility was clean and seemingly well maintained. The issue here is the noise levels. The park is maybe 50 yards away from highway 191, a very busy, noisy road. Other than the noise, it was a nice enough place to stay a couple nights. We only had interaction with 3 members of the staff there, two of them acted like it was an imposition to check us in, answer any questions or sell a bag of ice. I couldn't tell you either of their names, because they couldn't be bothered to say hello, please, thank you or any other normal pleasantries associated with a customer facing position. Pretty unpleasant attitudes. But, unfortunately, that seems to be the norm in "customer service" these days. Then there was Shelly... cheerful, friendly, helpful and welcoming. She went out of her way to made us feel like guests. The other two could learn a lot from her. The world could use more Shellys. read more

Very clean level pads nice new concrete at every site, well maintained. No fire wells but they will provide a firepit for you. The view of the ever changing mountains was amazing. Dont forget to do the la sal loop drive! So beautiful, seems like you could see Canada from there. Now for the bad, Highway 191 is the problem, sometimes so loud its hard to talk to the spouse outside. Hard to sleep without the AC fan running all night. I just wanted peace, but none to be found. You have to go to the parks for that. There is a full timer part of this RV park in the back. Run down rvs but the people all said hi and were very friendly when we walked back there. Seemed like genuine people just trying to make it the best they can. Dont strike this park for helping them. I have been there many years ago. read more

Some of these reviews are baffling. I come to this place every year and it is always wonderful! We tent camp so we LOVE the grassy spots, trees for shade, covered picnic tables, fire pits, FREE showers, and CLEAN bathrooms. The staff is super helpful. People have talked about the "noise" from the highway, but even in a tent, I didn't hear anything. The sunrise and sunset views were amazing! I love that it's outside of town so it's quiet and there aren't tons of lights, so you can actually see the stars! It's 10 minutes from Arches National Park, 45 minutes from Canyonlands National Park, 15 minutes from Kens Lake (great for recreation and paddle boarding), and 20 minutes from the La Sal Mountains that are fantastic for side by side riding because it's cooler and has beautiful views. All ya'll complaining need to re-evaluate what camping is supposed to be like. Of course there's dirt, you're camping! If there is anything you need or if you have a concern, the staff will gladly help you or point you in the direction you need to go. The campground owner even went and picked up guests who broke down over an hour away from the campground. These are the type of folks we need running these amazing places. Don't come here if you are going to complain about stupid little things and ruin it for other people. Thank you Moab Rim Campark for another wonderful stay! We will be back next year! read more

Very quiet, peaceful park! Owner and workers are really nice people. It is just south of downtown Moab.

The park located right off highway 191, we were on the first row, closest to highway, heard traffic all the time, very noisy. We can still hear the traffic even in the back of the park. If you prefer quiet park, this is not the one. They do not have laundry room! This is the first private owned RV park we have been to that doesn't have laundry room. I was hoping to do some laundry, if I knew there's no laundry room, I would have done it at previous RV park. The site they put us in is #0, on the first row, right by highway. This is the only one site on the first row that has to back in, others are drive in. This site is tight compare to others and there are power lines over the site. They sent one employee to guide us back in. At first, we thought: wow, good service. But that's not the case. It was because they need to make sure that when you extend the slide(s) out on passenger side, it will not hit the power line. That's how close the power lines are! And, the kids playground is right next to site #0. Not a good site if you can avoid. They do not accept any membership from March to May. Wifi was really SLOW. read more

I will definitely be staying here over anywhere else, what a gem! Friendly staff, close area to walk your dog and super animal friendly. We stayed in one of the large cabins and it had blankets and sheets, small pillows and tons of kitchenware. Bring your own towels though! We cooked in and saved a lot of money and loved hanging out in the cabin. Outdoor fire pit, small but useable and outdoor seating too. Came with one bedroom with a large closet, and two twin beds in the other room. Plus a dining table and clean amenities. Laundry mat is on main street nearby. We found that only one person could shower with hot water per morning or evening though. Otherwise it got cold quick. And pizza hut doesn't deliver here so you gotta pick up take out orders! read more

We were able to get a same day spot on July 4th weekend because the initial place we had reservations was a dump. The spots are fairly level and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. Their "store" has a few items and you don't feel like you're being ripped off. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because not all spaces have fire pits and the noise from 191. There isn't any kind of barrier between the park and the road so even inside the trailer with the TV on you can still hear the trucks driving by. They do have a few portable fire pits but don't count on being able to get one. read more

We stopped in Moab on our way to Cheyenne to visit 94 year old mom. Went to Dewey's Restaurant & Bar for dinner. Husband got food poisoning, so we had a long ER visit. The folks at Moab Rim RV Campark were so kind & understanding. They allowed us to stay an additional evening in the same spot since we HAD TO stay an extra evening so he could recover. They also changed our return stay from Thursday to Friday with no problem. Great staff!! They deserve a raise read more

Two words: STAY AWAY! We booked our spot for one night a week in advance. The woman was kind over the phone and told me the cancellation policies. Obviously, I read the Yelp reviews before booking. Well, let me give you a clear cut picture of what this place is like. 1. The road is nearby, so there is no quiet. 2. People who come here feel like they don't understand how a campground works. For example, they shouldn't rev their engines at midnight, they should turn their headlights off when driving around, they should control their dogs, and just be civil human beings. 3. There is absolutely no view of anything except the people in the spot next to you. The absolute worst part of our stay was that when we checked in, she said we were in the group spot. This was the last night of our trip and the only reason we booked it was because we needed to be able to organize all of our stuff before heading home and we wanted to take a shower. She explains to us that everything in the group lot is shared--firepit, tables, grills. Luckily, there was no one else there when we wanted a fire so we got it to ourselves but as the night went on 5 other parties arrived to fill the group site. This also meant that people were loud and obnoxious all hours of the night. Why is this such a big deal? I asked her MANY questions about the sites and spaces when I booked. At no point in time did she tell me that there was any such group space that we would be sharing with many others. Or that we would be placed in one of these spots. The bathroom ran out of paper towels by 6pm, but they didn't refill until the next morning. And in that timeframe, they also didn't clean the bathroom. I went to get coffee at 7:55am, they open at 8am and the guy was rude and told me that he didn't make any coffee yet because they're not technically open. It was so bad that we almost up and left right after checking in. I'd give it 1.5 stars because the showers were free. read more

We loved it. Mainly because there is no pool, therefore hardly any kids. Yes, just off Hwy and can hear truck noise but it never bothered us over 4 days. The hosts are fantastic, will get you ANYTHING you need. The guy will help you get parts if something breaks and he has a whole maintenance unit where he'll bring electrical wires, hookups, connections. We stayed earlier in a fancier rv park in Moab but chose Moab Rim Park the next stay and prefer it overall. More trees blocking the 99 degree sun AND the daily rain. Free coffee in office. What we really liked was they didn't gouge you. Ice is $2.09 in town, only $2.29 at the park. Safeway sells the SMALLEST Lays potato chips for $1.29 but only 75 CENTS in the park. Wood costs the same. Please. All complainers stay elsewhere. It not perfect perhaps but dang accommodating overall. read more

A last minute decision was to drop into Moab to go to Arches, while traveling multi-states. Luck had it, a huge off-road event was occurring when we arrived (May 2019). There was "no room in the Inn" for the entire town (for RVs)! However, Rim Rv offered parking in their overflow lot when I called. We took it and showed up. It literally was a dirt lot in the back of their park. We were charged $33.00 to park in a dusty, dirty spot drawn up by chalk! Yikes. That's the reason for the 2 stars. I can't overall review the park because we didn't use the facilities and left the next morning to another one that opened up, but the fact we were charged that much for a dirt spot was a bit irritating. When you arrive, there is a gentleman that escorts you to your spots to help you get set--that was nice. The park itself looked cramped with many spaces and yes it is right on the road as others say-fyi. read more

Good park for visiting Arches. TV worked fine. Like most parks wifi was hit and miss, TV was OK. Camp was clean, staff friendly and helpful. Only knock is you are right on the highway and it is somewhat noisy. We stayed four nights and by the third night I got used to it, slept like a baby. Lots of ATV/jeep fans here, they weren't too noisy however, and overall they were very friendly. If I come back I'd probably look for something off the highway, but if that's not available I would recommend this park. read more

We came to Moab in July and had booked a campsite at another campsite. But when we arrived, we realized it was WAY TOO HOT to be camping. The place that we had reservations didn't have cabins available so we were directed to this place. We should up without reservations and they had a cabin available for the nights we needed. We ended up getting the New Deluxe cabin. The price was reasonable and the cabin was very clean and the AC worked perfectly. It came with a kitchenette and a bathroom. I have no complaints. The site is located a couple miles south of the town so it wasn't so loud yet, it was still close enough so that we could drive to Arches National Park fairly quickly. The Deluxe Cabin sleeps 4. (1 queen bed and 2 bunk beds). They also had cabins available that will sleep more than 4. Even though our cabin had it's own bathroom, one day we were in a hurry to get washed up and go out for dinner, so to save time, I used the common shower area that the campers and folks using cabins with NO bathrooms shared. I can't speak for the women's bathrooms and showers, but the men's side was very clean. Probably one of the cleanest camping bathroom and showers I've seen. The staff was very helpful and accomadating. They even let us check out the cabins first so we can decide which one to book. I highly recommend this place if you want to camp or Glamp while in Utah. read more

Stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed it. We camped with tents, though there are cabins and RV sites as well. This campground is located about 2 miles from Moab, and about a 15 minute drive from the entrance to Arches National Park. I enjoyed the BBQ grill or campfire options, and their bathroom/shower facilities were kept clean and with hot water (always a plus). First off-no matter what time of year you head to Moab, make your reservations in advance! Everything fills fast! That said, we didn't...I called every one I could find online, with no luck, and we weren't familiar with boondocking options. I called here, and the owner told me they were full, but they have a dirt overflow dry camp area, with use of facilities and dump station, for $30 a night, on a weekend. I jumped on it! Well, 2 hours later, he called back to say they had a cancellation, so we had a spot! It wasn't to noisy, seems like most people were asleep by 10pm...and up before the sun to see it rise...bathrooms were spotless, excellent water pressure in showers, and never ran out of hot water. Only downside was we didn't get cable in our spots (hey-we are camping!) and only electric hookups...all we needed! And there is a little store that sells everything you'd possibly need! This park is right on highway 191 just south of Moab, and a great base camp for visiting the area. The hookups are good, cable TV is excellent, the WIFI is fast and easy. The restroom cleaned regularly throughout the day. We were in site 15, so everything was super convenient. Our Site had a picnic table on a concrete pad under a nice little tree. The road and RV space are gravel/sand. No laundry room is available but this was not a problem for us. The campground is at the base of Moab Rim and the view is awesome We would stay here again. For starters the price was $500 more than was quoted the a/c did not work hardly at all no a/c in the bedroom it was so hot in there my wife and I had to sleep in the dining room where the heat was a little more tolerable. The WiFi did not reach to our cabin. We stayed in the park model cabin which they said was the best they had lmao if that's the best they have I would hate to see how others stayed. When I brought all this to the owners attention he said I'll give you a $67.33 refund. I replied if that's all you can do to try to salvage my future business KEEP IT I don't need the money that bad. We came here after we were thrown out at Spanish Trail RV for complaining about dirty bathrooms and the pool and hot tub not working for 3 days. The mangers here were considerate and understanding to or problem and helped get a nice spot with a beautiful view. Bathrooms and showers were nice and clean, the grounds were very nice. There is a great area behind the place to go for a walk and enjoy some solitude. Also, very pet friendly. This is the RV park I will stay at every time I come to Moab. read more

This campground is by far the worst park we have ever stayed in!!! The woman at the front desk was not very friendly and beware there are no refunds and she made that perfectly clear... even when my husband said that we needed a sewer hookup because he is an disabled Veteran! and FYI to future travelers through Moab this park is very outdated and not all sites have a sewer hook up! The garbage was so bad it was everywhere. Even though it was a Sunday night and pick up is likely on Monday a second pick up would have kept this park more sanitary!!! Also there is no cable hook like other parks in the area! and if you are in a smaller trailer you will most likely not get a sewer hook up... they do have an on site dump station...Very disappointed! read more

We called and reserved two 60 ft pull through sites, and paid for them in advance for a four day stay. When we arrived we were told our sites weren't available! Finally we were offered two 40 foot sites which was not large enough for our vehicles towing doubles. No apologies offered. Rude And we will never go there again nor will any of our family or friends. read more

Stayed in a tent site, looked like every site a a tree for shade, for tent camping I recommend site 25. It had the biggest shade tree I saw. Every site had fire pit and picnic bench. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Cleaned every day. Showers were warm and big enough for me. Toilets were average BUT only 1 ply TP. Noise level was a little high. Highway is 150 yrds away but it's the cars that come in for late check in that woke me up. Operators were friendly, like to converse with their campers when you come in. Office had $5 bundle of wood. $2 smaller bags of ice. Wi-fi had extended range. Tent site was $20/night, one of the cheaper places around, we called around. check out is at 11am unless you pay for extended stay til 3pm. read more

Stopped here for the night after going to several of the national parks in Utah. It's about 10 minutes from The Arches National Park which was our last stop in Utah before heading to Colorado. It was a very clean and maintained campground. The showers are free and they are clean. Other campgrounds charge for showers. You definitely get what you pay for and it was very reasonable. They also have small cabins you can stay in which I would say are about 200 sq ft give or take which were $95 a night. read more

We have stayed here before and felt it was a good place for a large group booking multiple cabins and rv sites. We were so wrong. This year some of our group pulled their campers out for the day to go do something, leaving a few belongings in their spots. With in an hour they rented their spots, even though they were paid for 2 more days. Moved their belongings, told the new people they checked out. Then would not refund our people for the 2 days. DOUBLE DIPPING. Very shady business practices. Heard of this happening to others too. Will never come here again!!!!!!! Kudos. They worked us in when they were really full by running an extension cord to a parking spot just big enough for our class B motor home. Very reasonable rates, clean, and easy access to running and biking trails. Stayed here 5 nights. Had wood available for campfires for only $5. read more

I'm going with average because I've never rented a camping cabin anywhere but here. We've rented in May 2014 and 2016 for 5 nights. The cabin was clean and basic. Twin bunks and a full bed, mini fridge and microwave. The mattress was like a rock. Bring some padding. In 2014 the a/c didn't work and they couldn't fix it and couldn't move us. That was bad. This year it worked but the a/c was weak. The WIFI didn't work in 2016 the first day and after that it only worked occasionally. The bathrooms were mostly clean aside from people being nasty. Never too full that I saw and the waters always warm. read more
