    Mocktail menu

This is a really quaint restaurant it's great if you don't want the place to be too loud. The dimmed lights and music gives a perfect dinner vibe. We came here for a birthday, the server gave us complimentary "bubbles" to cheers with, which was very sweet. I do have to say, the mocktails here were pretty disappointing. They seem to just be sparkling water with maybe some syrup added but overall they're pretty bland. The mocktails and oysters were nothing to rave about, however the entrees were the stars of the show. The ratatouille was so juicy and very delicious. The salmon was cooked well but the side of the salad was what stole the show for me, I believe it was a corn side. The steak was pretty small for the price but it was melt in your mouth delicious. The desserts were great, we even got a little candle in one of them for the birthday girl. We got the chocolate fig which had a hidden surprise of salt sprinkled on top, and the pumpkin dessert. One thing I wasn't a fan of was that the food was not brought out at once. It has one person sitting with their meal while the others wait on there's. That and the mocktails are my only complaints. Very cute place and very yummy entrees

Loved our meal here! Ambience was amazing and honestly our waitress was a delight. She had a really warm presence and described everything beautifully- we trusted her recs! We ordered the oysters, pork & peas, and a salad. We also ordered some really good cocktails and wine which I do not remember the name of. Absolutely would come back and will be recommending this place to others!

Field Bar & Bottle Shop I think is one of the last of the cocktail bars we were trying to catch up on that are on 6th Ave. Steve and I just came here to try the drinks, have some snacks and a dessert so not a full on meal. I am grateful they squeezed us in because it looked like they were full and only had reservations for the empty tables but when they knew we were just snacking they fit us in at a reserved table for an hour. The snacks were really good! We had some awesome spiced nuts and some marinated olives. The olives were fantastic! For the dessert we shared the Ginger Shortcake with Matcha Ice Cream. Really good and unique! The drink I had was from their seasonal part of their cocktail menu and it was so good! It was a drink with horchata foam on the top and it was just out of this world. I tried to get the precise name for this drink for my review but after looking at their menu online their seasonal drinks aren't there. So if you are interested go to the seasonal part on the drink menu and look for the horchata framed drink or ask your server for it. As far as the bottle shop part it's more for wine, sherubs or elixir types of items which is nice because there aren't usually bottle shops with inventory quite like this as it's often beer. So keep that in mind... they don't have bottle of beers here. They do have some it looks like on tap. Looking forward for a return visit and maybe have a full meal. The Brie and Macaroni dish looked great!

New bae spiced prosciutto eggs benedict w the farm salad

Oh. My. GOSH. Best brunch I've EVER had. I got the prosciutto eggs bene w the farm salad; my friend got the french omelet (also w the farm salad) & we split an order of the new bae potatoes. To die for. All of it. The table next to us got the banana bread and based off the smell alone, we'll be getting some next time! The space is SO CUTE and we had the BEST service (Maddie is wonderful!) Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Best service I have experienced in so long. It was so refreshing! Love the atmosphere, food was great and I especially loved their natural wine selection. You can tell they really care about where they source their food & drinks from. Highly recommend!

I've been here for dinner but they just opened a brunch (9 am-2 pm) and I had to try it out. Kids are welcome at Field but it's not a kid friendly restaurant really, so brunch is a perfect time for some nice food when you have to bring along a toddler. The place was pretty full when we got in about 10am, but they made a spot for us (toddler wedged in on bench where she couldn't run off!) and we ordered right away. (Note our backup if there was a long wait was gather juice which is right next door!) We got the banana bread (ordered immediately for kiddo), yogurt granola, shakshuka, side of potatoes. Blueberry shrub soda, and water. Would've ordered a side of toast but the server pointed out the shakshuka comes with toast! Toddler liked the banana bread, and we loved our food! I ate far too much - I especially liked the potatoes with the shakshuka. The banana bread is just so kid friendly. My friend liked her yogurt granola bowl! Service was super friendly and it was nice to not feel like a total liability with a kid in tow. Just the right treat for my birthday!

If you're looking for a cozy date night spot in Tacoma, then head over to Field Bar on 6th Ave. We loved the warm, dim lights, welcoming staff, and the seasonal menu was exceptional (recommend the Winter Kale Salad). Definitely make reservations if you'd like a table, or you can try to grab a seat at the bar.

    Mother's Day with yummy starters

For a Pre- Mother's Day appreciation, I took my mom to The Field for our first time, and the experience did not disappoint. The standout of our visit was the impeccable service from (if memory serves me correct ) Irina, who made the meal feel extra special. She was filled with grace and kindness to my mom of 78. We started with apps of featuring hearty toasted sourdough, a pickled plate of veggies, and Hamma Hamma oysters--both were phenomenal, especially with their unique pickled twist (secret that I cannot reveal). I enjoyed an old-fashioned that hit just the right notes. my mom had a gimlet and finished off with it. Odd Chardonnay. We also Tacoma a bottle of Chardonnay, which was really strange, but I enjoyed it better even with the family. With so many tempting dishes on the menu, I'll definitely be returning with family and friends to explore more of what The Field has to offer.

For starters the service at Field is absolutely top notch, every single time we have visited. The entire staff is exceedingly friendly, attentive and informative if you have any questions. They also know how to pair their wines better than maybe anywhere I've ever been. The decor and design is also quite fun, especially if you're a Wes Anderson fan ;) The food is ever changing and always interesting, which we really enjoy. They just started trying out brunch service on the weekends and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered!

Incredible service, people, and food. One of my favorite restaurants in the Puget Sound area, including the 206.

It always seems like some new discovery awaits for this category here and it's always delicious. Coffee drinks remain amazing, creative and unique especially for the area that doesn't delve into the specifics that this place does. On our latest visit we had some amazing sweets that involved pistachio and once again it doesn't disappoint. So very delicious. Still five stars all of the way and I don't see that changing anytime soon!

I used to visit the Sacramento location, so it was a nice surprise seeing one nearby. My review is mainly for the desserts since I still haven't tried the coffee yet (though I'm sure it's probably great too since they're known for their Yemeni coffee). The menu seems very similar to the Sacramento location, but I'm giving 4 stars because they don't carry the one dessert I've been seriously craving: Turkish delight! The Sacramento location has it and I was definitely hoping to grab some here but I didn't see any on display or on the menu :( The milk cakes were thankfully just as good and super consistent between locations. We ordered the pistachio milk cake and the caramel milk cake (different pricing, depending on flavor probably). Both were incredibly moist, flavorful, and just really delicious. If you've never tried the milk cakes here, I definitely recommend them. They taste high quality, for sure, and a perfect treat for a sweet tooth. I had my husband try one for the first time since he likes caramel, and he immediately said it tasted so fancy he felt like he should be sticking his pinky out while eating it lol. I told him it *is* around $10 a slice, after all. We stopped by on a weekday afternoon and the parking lot was busy and the café itself was packed, so it definitely seems like a popular spot. They also have a points rewards program you can sign up for with just your phone number. I'll definitely be back for sweets again.
