We have been going to Fidelina for years wheN we need repairs and alterations. Her work is impeccable and her prices are reasonable. She is also a lovely person. read more

This was a couple years ago but I went there to get my leather Ren Faire bodice taken in. She was a bit confused and the language barrier was a bit of an issue because she didn't know it was for a faire and supposed to be REALLY tight LOL! The price was good considering it was leather but I left not knowing what I would get back after it was altered. I WAS BLOWN AWAY. She did WONDERFUL work, in fact amazing! She removed parts and put them back on and took it in so that you couldn't even tell it was ever any different. I haven't needed anything else done but if I do I am defiantly going back (with a friend who speaks Spanish)! read more

Worst place in town. Never called to tell me my suit was ready, then gave my $1,000 dollar suit away to the salivation army. Never tried to make it right. Horrible morals and honesty. Never do business with these people. read more

Wanted to say thank you for great service, Excellent quality and cost effective. I bought a cocktail dress for an event and needed to have it taken in I was so impressed with the price point to alter almost 50% cheaper then the lady on 1st Street and much more friendlier and great customer service. I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

Lovely lady. But my clothes were not hemmed perfectly. I wanted to try them on before I left (and paid) but that wasn't an option she said as her father was in the hospital. She sent my clothes home without a bag. I went to grab a Taco next door and as I was walking back, I saw my shirt in the ground. I'd dropped it. read more

Thank you Fidelina !!! I felt gorgeous. If it wasn't for the recommendations and alterations, I would have been the clown of the day ! I recommend Fidelinas . Cheap and very great great great service . Bless you read more

AMAZING WORK. Fidelina's is the best seamstress in Gilroy & Morgan Hill. Her work is perfect, and her prices are reasonable. I wish I had known about her 15 years ago. She was referred to me by several friends. read more

This is a very friendly place with great pricing and service! She is a super seamstress and does high quality work at a reasonable price!

I really love Fidelinas. I have taken so many things to be altered or mended throughout the years and she just does great work. She is very affordable, skilled at what she does, friendly and gets things done very quickly as well. I highly recommend her for anything big and small. read more

They do such great work here and are always on time! They recently tapered my husbands jeans and they were perfect!

I came in on a Wednesday for a romper that was a little low cut for my liking, easy process of saying what I wanted and by Saturday I just walked right in and got my romper and walked right on out. I was amazed of how easy and smooth the process was! read more

I scheduled an appointment with her to get my wedding dress refitted. At first I thought it was very expensive but when I realized how tedious and detail oriented it was to get a wedding dress altered; I felt that it was worth it. My husband and his son also got their suits altered by Fidelina. We were all satisfied by the results. My only concern was that she got delayed in finishing the dress because she said she miscalculated the time frame. It wasn't that big of a deal since I still got the dress just in time before we left, it was just the stress of the "what if it didn't fit and we don't have time to fix it" or "what if it doesn't get finished" that bothered me. read more

Beautiful work! I brought in a coat and dress to be altered. The work was done beautifully and within the time frame specified. Will definitely return. read more

The lady was very nice and works around your schedule but this place was expensive compared to other alterations places my friends have gone to. I brought my wedding dress here and my friends bridesmaids dress. We told her what we wanted done and every time we came back she didn't know or re asked us what else we wanted done. I wouldn't go back. We had to reschedule multiple times. My friend just gave up on her and took the dress home she had to pin the dress on my wedding day . read more

Beyond amazing work!! She did my wedding gown which was about 2 sizes too big and has applique detail that I had no clue how'd she work around. It came out perfect along with every bridesmaid dress and the flower girls. Wouldn't go anywhere else for alterations!! Fidelina is amazing!! read more

I took a chance here at Fidelinas because of the great reviews. I neeed my bridesmaid dress taken in. She was so sweet from the moment we got there. We have been going to Fidelina's for over 12 years. We are always greeted with a smile and are made to feel very welcome. Her work is flawless! She did a beautiful job of hemming a 3 layer prom dress. our family has short legs we always need to have our pants hemmed, we bring them to Fidelina and she always does an excellent job. read more

She saved the day! I was a bridesmaid in an out of state wedding. We ordered our dresses online. I had ordered some of the sample dresses for sizing, found one that fit perfectly so I ordered it. Just came in and I couldn't get it to zip by a couple of inches! I literally got the dress a week before the wedding. I Called Fidelina's and they were able to get me an appointment quickly. She looked At the dress and said she would have to see if she could let out the seams or she would have to take some length off the bottom to add to the seams. I have to say she moved very quickly she had my dress done in two days and I was able to try it on the day before we had to fly out of state. She did an amazing job! The dress fit perfectly and she didn't have to take any length off the bottom. The price was fantastic and her work was well worth it. I highly recommend her to anyone needs any alterations. read more

I have gone here on three different occasions to get my pants hemmed. While she does great work, on all three occasions the pants were not ready when promised. I live in San Jose and drove to gilroy to pick up the pants and they were not even touched yet. This is the last time I will use her services due to this issue. read more

I came here to get my wedding dress altered. I was referred to her by Trudy's. I am 100% satisfied with the service and quality of work. I had her change a few key pieces of the dress including neckline and I left with an image in my head of what it would look like and when I came back to try it on after the alterations, it was exactly how I had imagined it. Beautiful work and they are so incredibly sweet and nice. I highly recommend this place!! read more

I brought a bridesmaid dress to get hemmed here almost a year ago. Liz did a great job at hemming it. She was professional and very kind. They completed everything on time. I will be back for any future alterations that I need. read more

I like that this shop focuses on alterations. When I was looking for the best to have my wedding dress altered I came to Fidelina's. Fidelina's is an alterations shop, instead of a dry cleaner doing alterations on the side. I was very nervous about having my wedding dress altered because I have fallen in love with it and the store sold out and not making that style any more. Fidelina's was very nice and patient about answering all my many questions and concerns. She was very accommodating to fit me in when it worked with my difficult schedule. Her shop has a happy buzz of clients which is a good sign that she does excellent work. Even though this shop is busy the customer service is still exceptional. I am looking forward to seeing the magic that she does with my wedding dress. read more

Fidelina did a wonderful job on my wedding dress. At the first fitting she knew exactly what needed to be done before I said a word. After she completed a classic bustle I wasn't a fan of the look at no fault to Fidelina but due to my short stature. She happily and expertly made a second bustle that worked perfectly. read more

I've brought many jackets, pants and misc. clothing to Fidelina for the last 5 years. She does beautiful work at a very reasonable price. Because she is so popular, there can be times that items aren't ready on the day they were promised, but I always allow extra days before coming by to pick them up. If you must have something done with little lead time, let her know and if she can't do it in time you can go elsewhere. But for quality tailoring you can't beat Fidelina! read more

I have taken several items to Fidelina's for altering, and have never been disappointed! From simple hems, to difficult alterations... they can do it all! They are reasonably priced and very fast and efficient. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a good tailor. read more

The best. She tailored dresses, jackets and two pairs of jeans for me. Last month she tailored a suit for my two year old son. Everything looked great. She is very versatile. read more

I came here last week to get a brand-new sport coat tailored. They had 5 full days to work on my jacket. As much as I really want to like this place, I find the work to be mediocre and very overpriced for what you get. Everyone seems to be nice and friendly but the fact for my experience is that the work was rushed (Fidelina told me herself) and even when bringing my jacket back a second time, for them to adjust, it's unlikely they made the attempt to fix it. It was still the same sloppy work. They even lost my garment bag. Very disappointed, I will never go here again. If I am paying Nordstrom prices for a cut, I expect quality results. Brand new jacket...ruined read more

The best seamstress ever! Friendly and professional. Excellent work. Fidelina's is the ultimate sewing and alteration service. I recently learned about this business while I was searching for a place to alter a badly fitting bathing suit top and two pairs of jeans that fit at the waist but were really baggy in the legs. Soooooo glad I chose Fidelina's!!!! Now I finally have jeans that fit perfectly and a supportive and comfortable bathing suit top! Super happy!!! read more

I found out about this woman through word of mouth. The best way to hear about a business. I had gone to a couple of dry cleaners in town to have clothes altered prior to finding out about her, and I was never satisfied with the results. I have an odd shape, and she not only tailors your clothes to fix properly, but I swear she makes them look better on you. Since I found out about her business, I take everything there to be tailored if need be, because her work is impeccable! I have brought all types of clothing there, and I have brought other people there too because I swear by her work. She tailored a 500.00 suit for my son, and it was perfect. Everyone that I have recommended her to are very happy with the results. And her prices are so reasonable, I couldn't believe it. There isn't a long waiting time to receive your garment back, and she has seen other things wrong twice that I didn't notice, and fixed them (a zipper) at no extra charge. I don't know why she didn't charge me, and yet maybe it's because I bring everything to her that she recognizes me. It's hard to tell. She always is looking down working, but she knows who I am when I go there. If I were to move up to the bay area, I would drive down here for any alterations I would need done. I would just wait until I had a couple to get altered. She's that good. She's like the hair stylist that you would follow anywhere. I never thought about a tailor like that until she altered a garment for me. I will never go anywhere else unless I move out of the area entirely. She's is amazing, and I recommend her to everyone I know because of how talented she is at what she does. read more

Sweet lady and amazing seamstress! She had minimal time to take out a bridesmaid dress for me twice and nailed it both times! I will be coming here for the rest of all my tailoring needs from now on! Fast, efficient and family friendly read more

I went there last year for my wedding dress. She was amazing, fast, and reasonable. She even helped me two times afterwards with such a friendly attitude. I've gone to other places in Gilroy and San Jose, and I'll never go anywhere else. I also appreciate that she quoted me up front and had me pay. The last place I went she gave me a quote, and when I came to pick it up, she added $50 to it. That is definitely not the case here. Thanks you!! read more
