I would never write a review that is negative unless it was truly a horrendous experience. My best friend is getting married, and I took my bridesmaid dress for Alterations. The length was fine, all I needed was for two elegant bows to be sewn onto the top of the straps of the dress. I dropped my dress off Oct 1st, and was told it would be ready by the 18th. I called yesterday asking if it would be okay if I picked up my dress at a specific time (this is on the 19th), and she said yes that is fine after 3:30 PM. Preferably the 20th at any time during business hours. I drove back to Hollister to pick up my dress on the 20th, her preferred day, but when I arrived, it was not done as I had originally been told. She asked me to give her an hour, I told her I did not have an hour... So she stated she would do it in 15 minutes. When I was given my dress back, two loops were sewn onto the top of each strap, not bows. I told her this is not what I had asked and provided her a photo reference. I explained to her that my friend's wedding is in a week, and I really need the dress back in time. Feeling the pit in my stomach after everything that had occurred, I decided to ask for her to just undo the loops, and return the dress to me. The fabric of my satin dress is snagged. She did apologize, and offered to make it right, but I was so upset I declined. She has plenty of nice reviews, but unfortunately, I just did not have that experience. I will not be returning.

The cleaning was done perfectly, and the entire process was quick and stress-free. Review for Alterations Services: I've brought in several clothing items for alterations, and the owner has never disappointed. The work is always done correctly, completed quickly, and ready by or before the promised date. What I appreciate most is that if an adjustment is needed after I try something on, she is happy to make changes without any hassle and truly wants her customers to be happy with the final result. Noting was posted anywhere won how much items should be or even on the ticket I was given but since she told me I took her word with her being the owner and all. I come to pick up my items and my expensive UGG slippers were worse then how I gave them to her. She didnt get any of the spots out just made them look darker and completely messed up the suede. They are all rough and hard and left some permanent wet spots on the soles and back of the slippers. She clearly doesnt know how to clean UGG slippers and if she was confident then she should of told me and I wouldnt of left them. To make matters worse the amount was $25 more then what she quoted me. So not only am I being scammed on the price she messed up my slippers!! So i asked the girl that was helping me to call Graciela to clear things up and instead she was very rude and argumentative. The worst customer experience I have ever witnessed. The two most important pieces were the gowns for both of my children's weddings. She completely resized one gown from top to bottom in addition to doing a hand-stitched hem. For the other gown, she resized the top portion, redesigned the pleating at the shoulders, and hemmed it perfectly. Everything she did was beautiful--she truly turns store-bought gowns into custom designs. Perfection. Beyond her incredible talent, her patience and kindness are so genuine. She loves what she does and is sincerely invested in your special occasion. She even recommends what color shoes to wear and what shape purse to carry. When I went to pay he presented me a ticket for a whopping 90$!! We thought we heard wrong. He said it was 45$ each! We felt insulted and appalled. This is on the very high side 15-20$ service.
