I was here with my family on Dec15th Sunday and wow, La Fiamma is still amazing as ever! This place is my family favourite when it comes to pizza, and nothing has changed. Like usual, the tables were a bit full and the staff were behind on preparing/cooking food. Waiting was still worth it. This time we had half truffle and half BLT (medium $20) pizza, truffle didn't have much flavours while BLT was flavorful, YUM. We had a great time here and I personally thought large size would've been better. Aside from that no complaints at all! Their Mimosa special sounded good it's something I want to try next time. This place was good and the pizza was pretty good. I felt like it was a little pricey for what I got but I would come back here again. A cool thing they have it you can do half of your pizza one style, and the other half a different style. Customizing here is not limited. There were several items on the menu but since it was known for their pizza I decided to give it a try. My pizza was fresh, flavorful and yummy. I would come here on more of a "treat yourself" day and maybe not a casual evening if I am looking for a quick bite. Our go to for the world famous chicken sesame salad. While my dad has been battling cancer this salad has been much requested, even when he has a poor appetite. We love the unique combos and flavors of the pizzas, I've grown up with the major grigio (with the sriracha on the side because I'm a wuss) and of course, a side of ranch (don't hate). *One of the most unique pizzas I've had!* We visited La Fiama on 5/23 after a weekend at Baker Lake. After eating camping snacks and hot dogs, the sustenance from La Fiama hit the spot. Pizza sounded good, obviously, but we weren't hungry enough for a whole pie. The server said they had personal pizzas (woohoo!) which aren't on the menu. We asked them what they would recommend, and without hesitation they suggested the Major Grigio. Personal MG pizza was just under $13. Now this was one of the most interesting pizzas I've had in a hot minute. We love Thai flavors, but have never had them on the pizza. And wow! The mango chutney was the perfect level of sweet to balance the spicy curry veggies and Sriracha. Their crust was crisp which paired nicely with the softness of the roasted veggie. The salad was a bit underwhleming for the price. The chicken wasn't seasoned any special way, but there was a good amount. The bowl it came in was a small for the salad and made it difficult to toss. The dressing was hidden beneth the toppings, requiring to eat a few dry bites to make room to mix everything. I certainly recommend visiting La Fiama, trying the Major Grigio if those flavors speak to you, and perhaps exploring their pasta options - saw some folks with a nice cheesy noodle dish. read more

I'm not exactly sure how I've not written a review for this place yet, seeing as it's been a staple for me for about two years now. But here we go. La Fiamma is the closest thing to pizza from home that I've found out here. The crust is thin, the toppings are interesting, and it's generally got friendly service. The beer list is pretty good, and they have FANTASTIC deals on brunch Bloody Marys and mimosas. I try to mix it up, but I do come back to the same ones over and over: Hick Chick without cilantro, Potato Gorgonzola, or the meat lover's. They're all good though; never had one I didn't like. Just ones I liked better. Brunch pizza is definitely my favorite, though. They offer the full menu plus a few "breakfasty" style pizzas, and it's worth it to get their $2 drink deal, even if it means you have to be up early in the morning on weekends. They get 4 instead of 5 stars because a) Northeast pizza will always have my heart, and b) I have asked repeatedly to have the pizza cooked for another 5-10 minutes in the oven to get the underside and crust a little more bubbly and charred, and they never seem to do it. Otherwise, solid joint that is one of my favorites in Bellingham. read more

She also noticed my friend was shifting in her uncomfortable (for her) chair since her legs were bent at the wrong place due to her height. Great ambience. Great service. Prices are reasonable. Food was good but not great. I had the (med) spicy sausage pizza and asked for pineapples as an add-on. The medium was definitely enough for two people with about 8 healthy sized slices. I've had a lot of wood fired pizza including top restaurants from Chicago, New York, and all over Italy and La Fiamma's in Bellingham is reasonably good but lacks the crisp crust that makes a wood fired pizza perfect. While the pizza edges had a bit of a crisp, the center of the pizza crust was soft and "runny". I wanna be able to pick up a pizza and take a bite with a little crisp, instead, I pick up La Fiamma's pizza and it "melts" in the middle and I have to use a fork and plate to eat the pizza tip. Minus one star for gooey crust. The toppings are top notch and ginger beer good but a little watery, at least compared to Rachel's ginger beer at Pike Place Market. I would definitely recommend this place if you want great ambience and service and not too picky about your pizza crust. read more

I have come here many times for birthdays or just because- breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert- I've tried it all! I've liked everything I've ordered here, they have yet to disappoint. It's really nice that they have gluten free options, they feel kinda heavy, but it's still good. They've got a great brunch menu and aren't busy on Sunday's like Home Skillet or Little Cheerful. Rosemary Lemonade: Great. Sometimes a little too tart for my taste. Green Salad: Their smoked sun dried tomato vinaigrette is what dreams are made out of. Great salad with great add-ins. Pumpkin seeds ooof. Moving on to pizza.. I waited two hours for a delivery and when I called the restaurant about it, they said they have "no control" over door dash. My husband and I were in Bellingham regularly this past Spring and on one particular Sunday morning, we needed to grab a quick bite before a meeting. Didn't want the usual "coffee and scones" thing so our drive took us by Fiamma. I knew of the place already from when my daughter attended WWU, but I'd never been. Had the traditional breakfast pizza" with egg, ham, potatoes. Wow! I would ha"ve liked a little more topping on it but I had NO issues with the incredible smoky "scorch" on the crust. According to the menu, the eggs are poached, but it seemed to me that they were fried, over-easy. In any case, they were terrific! I expect I'll be back in Bellingham this Fall for a bit, so now I want to try Fiamma for lunch or dinner. As I've always thought highly La Fiamma's pizzas, I was surprised aand disappointed with a recent take-out pizza. I had arrived on time for the pick up, but found the pizza was barely lukewarm when we began to eat about 10-15 minutes later. This was my first take out order from La Fiamma, and perhaps that is the challenge with all take outs there. However, I think the pizza was cooked immediately after the online order was put in and sat around for over 30 minutes before I picked it up (on time). i decided a trip to La Fiamma was in order after the spouse and I had great 11 mile hike on a beautiful winter day. We had a starter of the tomato/basil soup, with nice, toasted, chewy bread to dunk to warm ourselves up nicely. I got to choose my favorite combo that I rarely see- prosciutto with arugula pizza. Their presentation of a lightly dressed salad placed in the center to distribute as one wished was well done. My preference would be a slightly less sweet dressing to contrast better with the already sweet prosciutto and carmelized onion. Otherwise, delicious wood fired pie with decent char and chewy crust. The beverage selection will satisfy most palates. The service was friendly and a tad slow, but we were enjoying ourselves and in no hurry. My husband ordered from here - some sort of tri tip pizza special? The toppings were very high quality and worth what we paid imo. My only complaint would be that it was quite greasy but that may be due tri tip just being a greasy topping - would definitely want to try something different if we ever come back. Went to La Fiamma for the first time last Saturday. Wow! We were concerned at first - they seemed really understaffed for noon on a Saturday, especially knowing there'd be a Farmers' Market adjacent to their location. But once we were addressed by our server, things went really well! The staff are very upbeat and positive. The garlic knots were fresh, and the pizzas were really good. I enjoyed the BLT pizza immensely - the lettuce, arugula and smoky aioli dressing drizzled on top were a really nice touch. And it had both bacon AND pulled pork! We'll definitely be back. read more

My boyfriend, brother, and I wanted to get something light for dinner because we were not too hungry and we were just walking around downtown. We decided to get a slice of pizza from pye hole window. You could choose a slice of either cheese, pepperoni, meaty, or veggie. This was the perfect decision for a light dinner and it was so delicious.
