Inedible. Had to call to see if they actually had my order after waiting for over an hour. No conformation. Meatballs dry, sauce cooked to nothng w/burnt edges. Apple strudel big slab of dough "stuffed with 1/8" covering of canned apple goo. Bread sticks "dripping in garlic and butter" another slab of dough not cooked through that was butter/garlic free. $40 into the garbage. Also tried the lasagne a couple of months ago. We were in the process of moving and there was a day (a Monday maybe?) where everything in the area was closed but NOT Border Town Pizza! Pizza is not something we eat on the regular but we have had it a few times lately and Border Town is the best we have found! I can't recall the name of the one we order but I think it involved garlic and maybe chicken? It was delicious!! Unlike other places, the crust was perfection!! We called in our order and we were greeted warmly when we walked in! The restaurant is large inside and appears to have a salad bar? We will have to go back for more. Thanks Border Town!! Excellent pizza, definitely in my top 10. Really enjoy the ambiance and local feel, no tourist trap stuff here, thankfully! Pizza was full of flavor, extremely enjoyable. Have only had pizza so far and will definitely be back. Couple minor things, personal preference, could've used a bit more sauce and I'm not a fan of the crust yet flavor overcame that and sure others like the crust more. Good crust, nice spread of fresh toppings and the sausage gave it a kick which was wonderful. Too often a pizza like this either has too much or too little....was a very good balance. My family and I love this place. We order every Friday night. Pizza is as Italian as it gets here. Service is amazing and top notch. They opened a half hour earlier than usual to make my son his own pizza to share with his friends at school. Completely different level of customer service!! My son was thrilled. my parents owned 4 Italian restaurants in Vancouver, and the ambiance is improving for a sit down restaurant. I did give him some tips on how to make it more authentic and want people to sit, eat and drink and feel like they are in a little place in Italy. read more

My friend and I had the pleasure of visiting Border Town pizza for the first time. Laura (the owner) was just wonderful and our pizza was FANTASTIC! My friend and I are vegans, so we ordered it without cheese, and Laura said they're going to start using vegan cheese soon! Even without the cheese, the pizza was exquisite! Cant't even get our house number correct no matter how many times we tell them to correct. This is my favorite pizza place in town. It has great pizza and smells divine whenever you go in. The service is always friendly and accomodating. I like the lunchtime pizza and salad combo. If you go in early, they will often ask what kind of pizza you prefer on the buffet, which they don't have to do, but sure is kind. This is very good pizza. The crust has a good chew and the garlic ranch sauce is soooo tasty. I always get double sausage as it is clearly a good quality sausage. My husband likes the wings with the buffalo sauce (its hot). Delivery is always fast and consistent. Best pizza in town for sure. read more
