Fetch-A-Tech Plumbing Heating & Air - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

called on Wednesday to schedule service for clogged toilet, scheduled for Thursday 12-2 pm, no call no show as of 2:30, called office, informed tech tied up at previous job could come between 4-6, explained would not be available at that time so was rescheduled for today 12-2 pm, called office at 1:25 to confirm still on schedule, Hunter first said tech should be finished with current job shortly then said would contact dispatch and check, came back on line, danced around with her answers then tried to reschedule me for 4-6 pm, again explained not available at that time, again checking with dispatch, can reschedule tomorrow for 12-2pm , told Hunter that it seemed Fetch a Tech didn't want my business so cancel my appointment. Reliable not to my way of thinking. No stars read more

My technicians were MARK & LORENZO. They went above and beyond!! They were sooo nice, patient and very clean. I didn't want my dogs to eat something that was left on ground!! Inside or out side of house!! The price was higher than I expected, but the expertise was right on!! They also did it faster and very coordinated! They were true professionals! I feel very fortunate that I picked fetch-a-tech and got these two guys!! Thank you fetch-a-tech for helping an old lady!! read more

Fetch a tech is a scam. They claimed our a/c would cost $9,000 to fix. after a second opinion, it costed $200. We paid fetch a tech $90 to give us that $9,000 quote. After complaining, we were promised a refund. its been 2 months and no refund. also our a/c is still running stronger than ever from our 2nd opinion company. i do not recommend fetch a tech. read more

Mr. William Harris was nice, courteous and professional. However he tried to overcharge me by 300 percent. He wanted $2700 to replace the furnace motor (See the invoice that you emailed me) or $15,000 to install a new HVAC system. Of course he tried to nudge me toward the 15k solution. (Gee I wonder why) Thus putting me between a rock and hard place. Totally unreasonable. I just wanted it fixed so the house can be warm again, not to be scammed to the extreme like that. He also said the control board was fried too (See invoice screenshot below), but when I called another repairman for a second opinion, he said the control board was fine. Hence Harris must have tried to deceive me. I don't appreciate that. That's not nice. I thought Americans were honest with Christian values? Also, upon further research on Google I found out that furnace repair should cost between 300 and 1000 dollars at most in 2022, according to sites like Forbes and HomeGuide, etc. So 2700 dollars is way off by 3 times the high end. I don't understand how someone can be that extreme like a bloodthirsty shark to charge me TRIPLE price? Do all your techs do this, or is Harris a rogue tech? Other companies I called said they could fix my furnace for 900. That's still a lot, but it's one third of what Mr. Harris wanted. See the invoice he sent me for proof. (In Asia, a service repairman can fix most things in your house for 30 dollars or less, so service repair costs in the US are crazy and insane!) I ended up having another company fix it for 900 dollars. All they did was replace the blower motor. The rest of the furnace was fine. Geez. Moreover, people told me that to replace an entire HVAC system (which I didn't even need) costs about $5,000. Not $15,000. So even this figure by Mr. Harris is TRIPLE what it should be! Wow. He must have been going for the high roller, rather than being humble or modest! How do people like this sleep at night? How come they have no shame? I sure could not sleep at night if I did that. As a rule of thumb, truth should be simple and to the point, but both your techs that came to our house used a lot of techno babble to confuse me, which is a red flag and means they are trying to confuse me in order for me to pay for unnecessary repairs. Good honest repairmen usually explain things simply and to the point without techno babble. A few months ago, Jimmie Rivera (another Fetch-A-Tech repairman) during an AC tune up, wanted an extra 400 dollars just to top off the coolant in the HVAC, which makes no sense when I researched it. This doesn't look good for Fetch-A-Tech. Just being honest. I don't mean to offend anyone but these conclusions are inescapable. I'm pretty shocked. I thought Americans were hoenst and had Christian values. This is very disappointing. I would like an apology for this deception and cruel attempt at scamming me for $15,000 or $2700, both of which are outrageous and way out of the ball park. I've attached a screenshot of the invoice they sent me for 2700 dollars (yikes!). read more

My A/C was not coming on and I was sure this was going to be expensive. The tech, Ricky, was awesome! He took the time to listen to what had been going on and after asking some questions he found the issue. The unit was fine. It was a thermostat issue. I'm so grateful for his honesty and that he didn't immediately jump to trying to sell me on anything. Super nice guy. I highly recommend this company and especially Ricky. read more

We have a BRAND NEW AC unit that started blowing cool air. (Down from freezing cold). It also ran whisper quiet. Thinking that it just needed the coolant topped off, we called Fetch-a-tech. Three hours later, they say the evaporator is the problem and they left. Now the unit blows HOT air and it's so noisy our neighbors have complained to the HOA saying it sounds like a train is running through the house. All from an INSPECTION. Seriously feels like they did something to break the unit to force more work. But it gets even better... the price they quoted to fix the evaporator was just shy of $2,000. Thinking that felt high, I called three other HVAC companies for quotes and the HIGHEST was $650. Fetch a Tech is 3X more expensive than the next competitor. Absolutely unreal to experience this in today's day and age. read more

Way too expensive for the requested project. Used my situation to raise the cost and force my hand.

I have never had an issue with the techs they send out and they are always professional and willing to answer any questions or concerns. They have great mannerisms and not once have they not known what was the problem and always were able to fix it promptly. There is no other company comparable and my mind is always at ease when they come to do anything we need. They are prompt with calling, texting, and arriving in the 2-hour window they give you so, you're not just waiting around long before they show. If they have to reschedule due to emergencies that had to be handled first, they give you a call right away and schedule you quickly. Never a disappointment. Highly recommend! read more

This company sent out mailers for a free AC and water heater flush. There are better companies that do more with an AC System check, the tech even suggested a system failure and purchase before the hot season got started. Regarding the water heater check, I had told them beforehand that I just wanted the water heater checked because I had a doctor's appointment to go to. The plumbing techs who showed up refused to do just the water heater check, they said they had to go thru the whole plumbing system in the house. Why would I allow two male strangers to go thru my bedroom and then check my bathroom? I did not tell them there was a plumbing issue in my house. This company was the one who offered a free water heater flush, and then refused to honor it if they could not go thru the whole house checking for plumbing problems. Do not deal with this company, they're fishing for business the wrong way! read more

Had a total redo of my AC/Heating, including replacing duct work. (This job included a creative solution to a perennial cooling issue.) Keith and Zach are total professionals , inspire confidence and trust, really listen to the customer. I have used Fetch-a-Tech since it's beginning, for both plumbing and heating/cooling and have never been disappointed . I just wish they also had electricians. read more

Service was very thorough! The tech explained everything in much detail! The only complaint is that I wanted winter tune up and the service I got is for the cooling system,so be very specific when calling for an appointment! They did not ask and the tech did not confirm when they came out! I was certain I asked for a winter tune up when I called them up to set up an appointment! Also, the visit felt like a sales pitch at times! Tried to sell me their maintenance service which I understand! Tech was great and just doing his job! Not sure if I will use them again! Just not really happy I have to pay again for them to get my winter tune up done! It was a misunderstanding, not sure if theirs or mine! read more

We have been using fetch a tech for our dual HVAC units for ongoing health checks since purchasing both units new in 2019. Cal-Air was the installing company at that time, and our duct work was old, over 20 years and needed replacement. Fetch a tech notified us of this concern a few years ago, and this year we finally pulled the trigger and scheduled the work in early June. Our concern was would we have an operable unit while the work was being done. Fetch a tech helped us by scheduling our work for 2 days, so only one unit is down at a time. This really helped us deciding to do this. Another item that was installed was a central filter for each unit's return along with UV protection. They gave us choices, not only with products to buy, but with financing. Having choices really helped us decide what was right for us. They really helped us and we wanted to let everyone know. read more

I have been with Fetch a tech (FT) since they acquired my previous company who was my provider for 10 or more years. I needed 2 value and hoses to be replaced on my washing machine. Since i have a contract with FT I called them. The plumber showed up and discussed different things that could be done. He quoted the price of $926. Since I needed the machine to be back in service I agreed. The next day 2 techs showed up on time and did a nice job. It took them 45 minutes. I began to wonder about the pricing of the job since I have an annual contract I assumed I was getting a discount. What a bad assumption. After researching the job I fond I highly OVERPAID. I think its time to lock for a new vendor who does give a discount to annual customers and does not rip them off. read more

If I could give these guys 10 stars I would . I can't say enough great things about all of them. From my dealings with the office to the gentlemen who installed my new unit. They showed up on time and stayed until every last thing was taken care of. They were really nice and respectful. They left my house spotless. I only have a few of their names but honestly I don't think it matters who you get the staff there is amazing . Adrian, Luis, Reyes and Joseph are the 4 names I remember , but there were several others that worked tirelessly and I'm sorry i don't remember their names. All of them wonderful. My new system works so well and honestly I'm 100% happy. Thank you so much. This company will not stop until your problem is solved. They are committed to service and they are wonderful read more

I have tried multiple HVAC/Plumbing companies in Las Vegas over the past several years, and I have been using Fetch a Tech the longest. I became a member, and I have to say, I actually trust the work they do. All the techs I have worked with, both HVAC and plumbing are friendly, informative, and not pushy, including today's tech Colby. Their prices are competitive and tend to be lower than other companies I have used. I appreciate Fetch a Techs integrity, as unfortunately, in my experience, most other HVAC/Plumbing companies here in Las Vegas do not have it. Keep up the great work and the great hiring. Highly recommend! read more

Let's begin with the quickness that Fetch-A-Tech Plumbing Heating responded to my call. My household went all day before finally finding out that the original company that sold me my a.c. , in 2020, had been bought out. I was glad to get a working number for all existing customers. The customer service I received from beginning to end was great. The agent scheduled a tech to come do an evaluation the very next morning to figure out why my unit wasn't working properly. Jorge was promp, and within the time I was told he would arrive. When all was said and done, I did have to invest about 2 grand into my unit. Which for my family and I, was worth it. The summer heat in Las Vegas is unbearable. I signed up for their membership program also because I learned that preventative care could have saved me some of the damages that had occurred. My system suffered the unbearable heat the last several years but hopefully now, with proper maintenance the longevity will pay off. I appreciate the short time it took Jorge to repair my unit and get it working properly again. Look forward to the benefits of being a member with Fetch-A-Tech. read more

LIARS !! This company should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of people. Had this company come to my house for a "diagnostic" check. They wanted to charge $15,000 which is the "cheapest" to change out our unit. Went as far as showing a picture of "my ac system" saying it was an R22 and that it's outdated and made up this whole story about the unit being dirty. Literally was only up there for 10 min. Told the guy we'll think about it. We had a family friends friend come out a couple hours later and he told us we have a 410 NOT AN R22 saying there is a HUGE sticker displaying 410 and that the guy who came out from this company FETCH A TECh straight up LIED TO US. Our system is okay just needed to replace a part which cost us $120 !!!! How dare you guys take advantage of people like that ! Showed us a FAKE picture of a FAKE problem trying to talk us into financing a new system !!!! This is not right and this is not how you should do business !!!! So despicable ! DO NOT COME HERE! THEY CAN'T BE TRUSTED!! read more

I am now on the phone trying to get Joseph back out here. I had called last night because our AC wasn't working. I turned it off for a couple of hours and then turned it back on. Yay! It's working. Called the company to let them know we didn't need them to come right away so they could help someone else who didn't have AC. So Joseph comes out just to check the unit to make sure it is working properly. Tries to sell me something for $400. Not doing that. Tells me the capacitor needs to be replaced. He does that and now....now it WON'T TURN OFF!!! I call the company again and tell them he has to get back out here and fix this....today. The receptionist tries to get me to agree to have him come tomorrow. NO. He has to come back TODAY! I will update this when he comes back to fix this. Right now, absolutely will NOT recommend this company read more

A couple of weeks ago our AC went out. Yes came out, wanted $14,000 for a new unit. We had Fetch a Tech come out, $1900 to fix it. They had to order the part, but because we had no air we were put on top of the list. The next day, they came out, repaired it, no problems since. read more

Back on July 1, me and my older brother met with Brent Buckley, one of the owners of Fetch-A-Tech. He provided us with information concerning the different heating and cooling systems currently on the market, explaining the advantages and disadvantages of each system. Brent discussed the efficiency of an (inverter system), builder and mid-grade systems, just to name a few. Of course, the cost was a factor, and we were offered several financing plans that we could manage and stay within our budget. We did receive a senior discount which helped to defray the cost a bit! My brother understood the HVAC "language," and we moved forward with the installation of a DAIKIN air conditioning system in our mother's home in Las Vegas. Fast forward to the day of the installation. The young men arrived half-hour ahead of the 8:00 a.m. hour. They were neat, clean, and greeted me at my mother's door with an introduction and a welcoming smile. The men worked in pairs, two outside, two upstairs in the attic, and two in the garage area. The technicians: Chris Y., Jamie T., Richard M., Carlos C., and Derean T., were no nonsense about getting the work completed in a timely manner. Las Vegas was extremely hot back in July, and we had little or no down time as it relates to air conditioning in my mother's home. The guys were knowledgeable about their expertise and was willing to answer questions that my brother and me posed to them about how certain mechanical things were being connected. As a woman, I did not feel that I was imposing on any of the technicians by asking questions; they were eager to answer my inquiries. With the job completed, we had a few areas that needed drywall attention and holes that had to be repaired. Brent set-up the repairs immediately and those were handled. We have one final repair to the vanity top, and I expect that to happen soon as a contractor came out before I left Las Vegas to survey the damage and submit a bid to Fetch-aTech. Since July 3, the date of the HVAC installation, my mother's home has been cooling nicely, both upstairs and downstairs. I'll need to update this review come wintertime! Nice guys and very professional; hard to find those qualities these days! read more
