Ross had been involved with installation of the storm sewer access in the neighborhood. He immediately knew what was required to resolve our issue. On the actual day of service, Ross created more work for himself (versus his machinery) to enable us to salvage a large tree in our yard. We can't say enough about Davis Excavation. Ross demonstrates exemplary communication skills. His explanation regarding necessary services is clear for non-technical individuals. His reliability is 100+%. Our primary plumber does not do this type of outdoor work with sewer plumbing, however, recommended we call Steve, immediately. We did this, and he showed up quickly. The next morning, the backhoe arrived, with two young gentlemen who did know exactly what they were doing. It was a major job, as the pipe was completely broken deeply under our deck, however, all is working well now, with no problems. They were very careful with our property, and even put the bird feeders back where they belonged upon completion! And, working with the Winter temps that were miserable, I was amazed they did what they did! If you have a horrible issue with a broken sewer pipe, do call Steve!!!

Worst customer service EVER! We hired Estes Excavation and…read moreDrain to do the inspections on the well and septic of the house we were purchasing. We aren't sure they ever did an inspection on the well or the septic because we were supposed to receive the inspection reports for both services and we never received either one. We tried calling Estes but they never answer their phone. Our agent tried calling them but they never answered any of his calls either, nor did they ever call any of us back. They had no problems taking our money though. We paid for a home warranty when we purchased our home because there were things that didn't quite work right when we purchased the home. We found that almost all of the faucets leaked. When we contacted the home warranty company they told us they were sending out, you guessed it, Estes. They gave us a window of between 11:00 and 3:30. We waited that whole time for them to show up but they never did. We called the warranty company the next day to let them know Estes never showed up. We were told that Estes reported that they didn't find anything wrong with the system (plumbing fixtures). Well of course not, you'd actually have to show up to find something wrong with the system. So the warranty company told us they would, again, be scheduling for someone to come out to address the issues we were having. Lo and behold Estes took that call and have us the same window. And again they never showed up and didn't call to let us know what was going on. This time we called the warranty company asking them to contact Estes to confirm the appointment. However, Estes never answered the warranty company's call either. Then we called again after the service window letting the warranty company know that, once again, Estes never showed up nor did they call. In conclusion we wouldn't refer anyone to.this company to do any kind of work because they don't show up and they don't answer your call yet they don't have any trouble taking your money.

They were able to repair it without digging up the yard with there trenchless tools. Very cool and they cost was surprisingly within budget. They offer financing to help cover any costs.
