Five star service!! Needed to have a large tree removed from my front yard. Elmer, owner, came out to my house two hours after I called; other companies stated it would be a week to have someone come out for an estimate. Elmer and his crew were perfect. Elmer was right on time for the estimate, communicated very well and is personable. His team showed up on time for the job and did an amazing job of removing two 40+ foot trees that were inches from my neighbors fence. They were able to drop all the limbs and trees on my side of the fence which is remarkable without any damage to anything - esp. given the size and weight of the trunks. They cleaned up everything really well and hauled it all away. I then had Elmer remove two more very tall trees a year later and one was an emergency (leaning towards my neighbors again) and they came out a day later and did another fantastic job. read more

Originally, I got a quote from four different companies but instantly knew Fernandez Tree Service was THE BEST, starting with their PROFESSIONALISM. Elmer uses a laser pointer on the trees to identify where cuts should be made, there is no second guessing. He also records notes on his hand held I-Pad as he walks the property. He is well-organized, highly skilled and a delight to be around. Under Elmer's careful direction, his team of men artfully sculpted the trees and then meticulously cleaned the entire property. They took out 2 other things, and trimmed another while making sure the neighbor was in agreement. We were referred to Elmer by one of our neighbors who recommended him highly. We could see the quality of his work on their property and we were excited to have him turned lose on our poor neglected trees. Elmer and his crew did an amazing job of trimming all of the trees on our property. There were multiple redwoods, a couple of willows, some walnut trees and an oak. The end result is pure art. I hired Elmer to "harden" my landscape by removing several trees and bushes and the "Gorilla Hair" mulch that partially burned last year.
