I ordered a Stromboli and a sausage pizza to take back to our hotel room after reading the reviews from others. It's a nice enough little restaurant and seems quite clean. The lady that brought out my order was quite nice and I left fairly quickly. When I got back to the hotel, I cut into the Stromboli and I've never seen one so damn skimpy on the fillings. They should advertise it as baked pizza. I wasn't impressed with the pizza either. Mushy and flopped so bad that we had to eat it with two hands. Take a look at my picture and you can see that we only got one or two pepperonis per slice. Definitely not a place we'll go to again. read more

This place has the cutest storefront and location. The atmosphere is what makes this restaurant. It's cute, updated, upbeat, and appears clean. A hostess sat us at a booth and our server took our orders promptly. Our food didn't take long to arrive. We split a portion of spaghetti and meat sauce. It was plenty. It came with a salad and garlic bread. The salad was fresh. The spaghetti was pretty good. Another table was dining on a pizzas that looked and smelled delicious. They also have a drink menu. Everything went fantastic at this location. Got seated right away on a Saturday, place was super clean, food came out in a good amount of time, and food was pretty good. The only complaint my husband and I had was the Marsala chicken seemed like it was not seasoned. The inside of the calzone was delicious and even the outside was good and sprinkled with cheese. There aren't many places in the CSRA that take gluten free food into account when creating a dining atmosphere, but Fernanda's does. Service was good. Food was...meh. We stopped here on our way back from vacay strictly because the reviews say it is amazing. I had the lasagna, wife had the spaghetti, and daughter the philly cheesesteak. We always say if a restaurant can't prepare their standard dishes well, in this case the dishes mentioned for an italian reataurant, then the rest on the menu probably isn't good either. Lasagna - like sauce and cheese baked in a bowl. Nothing else Spaghetti - Nothing fancy. Mostly noodles with a little sauce Philly - mostly bread. Very skimpy on the steak. Nice place and people. This past Tuesday night, I was driving to Augusta from Tennessee and stopped in for a couple sandwiches to take to my daughter's. A friend mentioned how good their Philly Cheesesteak was on Facebook and I made a mental note to check them out. I'm always searching for a good cheesesteak and this place didn't disappoint. My daughter loves Chicken Parmesan so I got her that and fries. We split all the food, fortunately for us, they serve their take out sandwiches in halves. So inside the bag, there were 4 halves wrapped in foil, an order of fries(put in air fryer), and a side salad. They were slightly busy, but my order was ready when I got there. No one ever asked what type of dressing I wanted and I asked for ranch. I didn't like their ranch. It was too tangy. Reminded me of miracle whip which I can't stand. We liked the look of their fries but I ate one while they were fresh and it wasn't crispy. I wouldn't say it was soggy from grease but they weren't crispy. I threw them in the air fryer and they came out nice. It's not too far from Augusta and I'd like to go back one day and eat inside and enjoy a hot freshly cooked sandwich inside their cozy restaurant. read more

The service was dismal they make up prices sometimes as they go the food was very poor I got a rubber chicken sandwich a rubber one spaghetti sauce that isn't spaghetti sauce it's tomato sauce really really thick spaghetti noodles weighing the plate down and not giving you any spaghetti meat or seasoning and the salad was had at least a quarter cup of water in the bottom of the container they were supposed to be mushrooms on the side they don't do that they said and I quote you get six mushrooms and it comes in the salad excuse me there was two mushrooms and one cut up with two pieces in it and I've got the pictures to prove it and then when we called back they lied and I've got the pictures to prove that I will not even though this was the first time I will not give them a second chance I have felt nauseated since then not only because of their attitude they're lying and their lack of service the food has made me physically ill read more

I am from NY originally and I know good pizza---this is it!!! But Fernanda's has so much more than that too----Mama's meatballs are to die for and the lasagna is hearty and delish!!!! The service is always outstanding and even when my family from NY comes ro visit THIS is where we go to eat!!! Who would have thought you could get NY quality and style pizza in a small town BEST PIZZA by far in the CSRA!!!! The restaurant no longer lets you see the bill before you pay the check. They automatically add a 20% tip with five people but they do not tell you they are doing it so when the swipe your card you add another 20%. Came before lunch (11:30am) on a Thursday, was pretty quiet. Three waitstaff were here but our waitress wasn't very attentive... were behind the bar chatting. We had to get up to get her attention, she seemed to look everywhere but at us. Subs took 30 minutes to get? Drinks sat empty... Food was mostly good, but service was subpar. Pizza was good we just ordered a pepperoni and cheese. Also ordered there loaded fries as an appetizer. Fries were these weird chunky potato wedges that should never be served without warning. I ordered a meatball sub which I did t realize came with the chunky fries as well. The waitress left that off. I would have appreciated if they would have warned me I was doubling up on the fries but that's on me. The inside was nice but the service was thin and stretched out with a big party that came in behind us. We didn't get checked on after our food was brought out and I had to go to the bar to get our check to leave after waiting for awhile. Oh my!! We were staying at Mistletoe and were looking for a bite. As we approached the building I remembered that I had stumbled into this place on our way to a conference and immediately got excited remembering how good everything was. I love a good New York Style pizza, pepperoni of course, and yup it was spot on. Upon entering we noticed how busy the place was, which is impressive considering how small the town is and it was a Tuesday! My family and I stopped in for dinner to check the place out on our return trip from Atlanta. App: we had the garlic bread with cheese and an order of Calamari. Both were good, my wife and I both really enjoyed their marinara! Kids: they had the spaghetti with meatball and Scarlet's fettuccine Alfredo. They both ate well and I tried both and liked them. Unbelievable bad service and questionable billing practices. We were rushed thru our dinner service from the moment we sat down. We kept getting interrupted as well. When it came time for the bill, I gave a 20% tip thru their payment app on spite of the poor service. We were verbally told the final bill amount, which also showed in the app. I was sound enough to send the receipt to my email. The idiots then came back to claim additional tax, which was NOT part of the app nor the verbal total. We ended up paying that in cash, but when we engaged their so-called manager, they did not acknowledge the incompetent staff and payment issue and showed zero empathy. Avoid this place. A jewel in Thomson, Ga. The place is clean and easy to locate. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Even for Fido. The menu includes pizza, salads,stromboli,calzones, subs(hot and cold) and a kids menu. We opted for the 'fogetaboutit' stuffed 10". The crust was light, crisp and delicious. The inside had ham,bacon, ground beef, pepperoni and sausage with cheese.OMG!!! I also had the side salad,which includes fresh ingredients. Lettuce, red cabbage,onions,black olives, croutons and cheese. I highly recommend this place. The cost? $19 with drinks. The two main differences between a calzone and a stromboli: The calzone is folded and served with sauce on the side for dipping. Stromboli is rolled and cooked with sauce on the inside. If Fernanda's can't make a real stromboli without it coming out of the oven soggy, they need to learn how to make stromboli. Hint: Too much sauce makes it soggy. So..... I ended up getting a burger. It didn't suck. I suggest asking them to cook it medium, though. Mine was a bit overcooked. They serve it with a croissant type roll. Nice and flakey. Nice taste, but it tends to fall apart easily. If you like to put your burger down while eating, you'll spend a little time putting it back together. Servers should not wear a lot of perfume. I want to smell my food not that scent that your boyfriend likes. The Mrs. ordered a stromboli. Got a calzone. A very good calzone. If you like calzones, give it a try. Just the right amount of fillings and cheese. Overall happy with our visit. Happy to learn they don't make real stromboli BEFORE I ordered it, but slightly annoyed with an overcooked burger. read more
