To be fair, I went in pretty much knowing what I wanted after agonizing over Consumer Reports and online reviews. Waadt was the third appliance store I visited. Prices were consistent across the board. Most places didn't have demo electric ranges in store since it's low in demand, but they can order anything and seem to have direct contact with vendors. I wasn't in a hurry, so I placed my order with Bill on 2/13/26. He called me on 2/24/26 to let me know my appliances had arrived, process payment and we scheduled install for 2/26/26. I was given an install window of 9:30-11:30AM and they showed up around 10:00AM. The install guys were great. There was of course a problem, as my current range was hardwired to the electrical and there was no outlet for the new one. They said no problem, ran to the hardware store, bought the necessary supplies, installed the outlet and had me up and running. This is exactly why I didn't go with a big box store. Bill let me know his installers were equipped to handle any surprises and they were. Big box stores will only plug it in and leave. Any problems you're on your own to solve. Install prices, with the addition of an outlet, were reasonable. Would I use Waadt again? Definitely!

I had a very frustrating experience with Twin Appliances / Jose. We had a written text agreement…read morefor a new LG WT8200CW washer and LG DLG6101W gas dryer for $950 installed, including delivery, installation, new hoses/connectors, testing, and written warranty/receipt paperwork. On the first delivery attempt, he brought a different washer than the model we agreed on, then said he would bring the agreed washer only if I paid $100 more. At first, I wanted him to honor our written agreement and tried to negotiate a $50 compromise, but he did not respond to my texts. I later agreed to his higher $1,050 price to try to resolve the matter. We then scheduled delivery for the next day around noon. However, he did not respond to my texts or calls around the scheduled delivery time, and he never texted me when he was on the way as he had said he would. Later in the afternoon, he said he had gone to Lancaster for another job and moved the appointment to 3:30 pm. Communication was difficult and delayed. Before delivery, he then requested a $250 Zelle payment before coming, which I declined because the appliances had not yet been delivered or installed as agreed. At his request, I sent a $1 test Zelle payment with a memo stating it was only a test and not a payment or deposit. He said he did not receive it, even though I sent him a screenshot showing I had attempted the test payment. After that, he said he was no longer willing to proceed, even though I offered to send the test payment again after confirming the correct phone number or email address. In the end, no washer/dryer set was delivered or installed. Based on my experience, if you decide to buy here, I would be cautious and recommend getting all model numbers, serial numbers, payment terms, warranty terms, and delivery/install details clearly confirmed in writing before relying on this business. If the agreement changes, I would seriously consider walking away.

The washer stopped draining and I woke up on Sunday to dirty water sitting in the drum. Luckily, I was able to wring out and dry the two unis in time but was freaking out with piles of laundry. I called Tigran on Monday morning at 9:15am and he was at my house within a few hours. He diagnosed the problem (new pump), ordered it, and was back the next day (today) replacing my broken pump and now my washer is as good as new. I also had a question about a Bosch dishwasher panel that my husband recently replaced on his own and he helped me fix the minor problem and refused to charge me. Tigran was very polite, friendly, quick and efficient and my goldendoodle loved him, too (she has an excellent sense of character). Owner said it was posted by mistake, and was really shitty about it, like I was trying to rip him off. Okay fine, if something seems to good to be true, it is. Was still able to find a used washer and dryer set for double the price. Install and delivery went well, they were real professional and the owner even came through to install them. 3 months later the dryer took a shit. Called Kimo's, they said it was past the warranty and could do nothing about it. I would have to pay to have it fixed or buy a new one. So I bought a new one on sale from home depot, seems to be working fine so far. Now the washer took a shit, and I'm out 900 I spent on the set plus what I have to spend on a new washer. I love the idea of buying used appliances for the discount but I ended up spending a lot more money than I would if I bought it brand new. The truth is everything is so poorly built now a days that it's going to break down no matter what. Manufacturer's want you to buy new appliances every couple years, that's their business model. And it's fucking over customers and a small business like Kimo's just trying to stay alive. It's lose, lose, unless you're the giant corporation taking advantage of honest people just trying to wash their fucking clothes. Good luck Kimo's! I'm rooting for you guys. Everything in my life is breaking , again!…read more It's been a minute Yelp. Just When I Thought I Was Out, They Pull Me Back In! This time around my wife says she smells something burning, somethings not right. She pin points the dryer as the culprit. We notice the drum is white hot. There are water drops coming out of the crevices. Witchcraft? Demon possession? No, blocked exhaust hose Alex from Swiftec Services explained to me over the phone. He says I can be there at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. Blocked it was! Our poor LG dryer was a mess. Tons of lint had built up inside this thing. Alex took the thing apart and cleaned it thoroughly. He also replaced the exhaust hose. He got our dryer back in business. Before I called him I thought oh great, time for a new $900 dryer! His price was more than fair.
